I finally tried it a few days ago and I was floored by the taste and quality of the food! It is owned and managed by JW Marriott, so no surprises there.Gosht Biryani - A masterpiece. Subtle but flavoured with mild spices and aromatic with loads of ghee. The flavour of the rice is so mild, but so satisfying. Then the mutton pieces, so perfectly cooked, juicy, perfect proportion of fat and meat and just amazingly spiced. This is one of the best Biryanis in Pune. This is Awadhi style of biryani and apparently is the closest you can get to the original! (Rs 310)Talawa Gosht - If you thought the biryani was amazing, you should try this curry! My God! Absolutely succulent fall off the bone mutton in a beautifully spiced, mild but flavouful curry! Its thick and singing with onion and many whole spices. Paired with crisp and flaky laccha paratha, it is the perfect indulgent meal! Again layered with wonderful ghee. This is an incredible curry, soul satisfying! (Rs 340)They even have a combo where you get curry, paratha as well as biryani, but smaller quantities. Great if you wanna try everything in one go but Id suggest order the full dishes! They even have chicken versions and a few veg dishes I think.Their Chaaz and Jal Jeera was pretty good too!Considering the quality and taste, this is totally value for money. It just doesnt seem like Food Court food at all! The prices may seem on the higher side for a food court, but its more than worth it!

Located in the Pavilion mall food court. It serves biryani and curries. Thought their menu contains limited items but each item meticulously prepared and are very tasty. You should definitely try their murgh awadhi biryani and baida keema. The only thing that will bother you is their pricing. The quantity doesnt justify their high pricing.

Its a nice eatery located in the food court of Pavillion Mall, S B Road. We had Murg Hyderabadi Biryani, it was amazing. Rs. 285/- price tag was justified by the amount of Chicken in the biryani. Portion size is more than enough for one person. Biryani had good aroma of spices and fried onions on top was nice. Good option for a filling meal.

Love their biryani. This is awadhi biryani and not Hyderabadi - it is low on spice, but high on flavours and aromas - people tend to confuse the two and give more negative reviews. Chicken is cooked perfectly, and biryani rice is fragrant, nice and moist. If you want spicy variation try elsewhere.

Good biryani, decent service.Everyone has its take when it comes to biryani.and we have soany different variations of Biryani in India.Personally I dont like the taste of Jamawali Biryani.it could have been a little more intense and tasty. I feel this biryani is very pale and tasteless.However thats my opinion.

Tried their mutton combo. Super salty mutton gravy and stale soggy biryani rice with barely a single piece of edible mutton.I shall pass. 2 stars because they do have a welcoming store with a clean deck and all that.

Jammawali Biryani is an excellent place to get some mouth watering biryani in pavillion mall. Located in the food court, it also serves some nice parathas and curries.

I am a biryani lover and I absolutely love the mutton biryani here. I always order the mutton meal which has mutton biryani with mutton gravy, juicy succulent tender meat with tasty biryani make my taste buds tickle. By far the best biryani I have had in Pune. I am a regular customer to this place.

The Murg Awadhi biryani is the tastiest one I have had is Pune and the quality of food is good too. Although, everyone’s palette is different.Update: Reduced one star as the biryani does not have consistent flavors. Sometimes it could be extremely average.

Yesterday I found stone and clay (mud) in my biryani.When I showed it in the counter, he didnt ven bother to apologize. He just said I will talk to my chef and told do you want anything instead?Hell no! Was my reply and when I told I will report this to your higher authorities he was like OK.What is this?I just payed money to eat mud and stone.

The biryani you get here is Veg and Non-Veg.The Non-Veg biryani has a lot chicken and the Veg has many vegetables mixed in it....

There are few briyani I and around pune, at least, that are close to the delicately balanced I flavors like the chicken Biryani here in Jamwali Biryani. The flavors are amazing with fried onion, pure ghee, whole spices (without getting a mouthful of them while enjoying), pieces at least when I tried were cooked just perfect.I have tried Chicken Biryani twice and veg and mutton on r each. All of them taste good. The ranking would be1. Chicken Biryani2. VEG3. MuttonOne improvement... Whenever I go to this place a little late in the afternoon the rice is overcooked. Else this would have been a first e star Biryani!

Edit 05/OCT/19 : Recently went there and ordered biryani. And shockingly it was the worst Biryani I ever had. Their quality has deteriorated drastically.Definitely the chef is not the same. Please get back to your earlier chef.Otherwise,Its a waste of money……........….......I just Love their everything. Their Chicken Biryani & Mutton biryani is perfect blend of spices ( unlike these so called Hyderabadi biryani restaurants selling laal mirch chicken rice ).Their chicken /Mutton Thali is a must try. Especially the phirni . I just Love it !!
