Cafe Social Beans has recently opened their first outlet in Pune, after having a great run in Mumbai. Located in WTC, Kharadi, the cafe focuses on pocket friendly food with some fun and casual ambience.I loved their wall arts where they had some amazing colorful life size caricatures. The outdoor ambience is simple with the winds blowing continuously, thanks to its location in WTC.They boast of having a lot of options in their menu. Youll find Chinese, Italian, Mexican, finger food and ofcourse Indian food with lot of variety in shakes and smoothies and other beverages. Youll find breakfast items as well as full meals to your satisfaction.Nutella Smoothie -This was good in taste, but could have been better. Felt a little dilute as the Nutella taste wasnt noticeable.Oreo Nutella Brownie Shake -I loved it. This was thick and scrumptious. A lovely blend of Oreo, Brownie and Nutella. Served chilled inna bottle, this is definitely worth a try.Hot Chocolate -It was a little too sweet for my liking, but really good for people having a sweet tooth.Chef Mandal Special (Harissa Paneer) -This is a dish which isnt supposed to be told in advance about what to expect. You just choose from a Veg or Non Veg option and get ready to be surprised by Chef Mandals culinary expertise.We got Harissa Paneer to feast on, and it was truly delicious. The sauce and the marination both complemented each other well.Nachos with Beans, Capsicum, Tomato and Cheese-This was savouring to its core. Toppings were sumptuous and it tasted great.Risotto Exotic Veg-We got this in Red Sauce which was my first try. I really liked the way it turned out to be. Cooked just right and creamy enough.Risotto Mushrooms-This was prepared in White Sauce and had mushrooms in chopped/minced state. It was creamy, cheesy but tad bit salty for my palate.OVERALL:And thats it, that was all what we had at Social Beans. Overall it was a very good experience, the rates are mostly into reasonable range. They offer a great variety of food, which is good for people who visit frequently from their office and have a casual meal.Do try this place in Kharadi!
