The owners has either earned a lot from this place or else they are not able to manage with the covid crisis... Such a tremendous legacy of delicious food, the charm of konkan delicacies has been ravaged. Seems the chef has been fired... The quality is relinquished and this place is below average now. Hope they realise the fact and work forward to serve flavours as they had been doing over ages.

Best and affordable fish thali you can have in pune. Curries are made with authentic konkani style with fresh coconut. All thalis we have tried and each one is worth it.

If you want to enjoy fish plat like konkon thali you should come at here. Really its very good test.

It is a popular landmark & easily visible in traffic while driving. The restaurant is known for Malvan Cuisine. The taste is somewhat authentic but I cant say this for all the dishes. Parking can be a concern for people who drive in a car. Restroom is there but certainly not among the cleanest ones that you would find. Service is average & so is the ambience. If you are low on budget and craving for sea food, then this is the place to go.P.S.: Sukha Chicken & Prawns Koli Wada are the dishes to try.

Place is good but staff is pathetic. They denied to give a Solkadi because there working time finished at 4:00 PM. I didn’t understand their working time but I didn’t like the overall approach toward customer. It seems that they don’t need customer.

Food here is delicious, it is famous for its sea food but the service is very slow plus the cutlery was not clean. I had to ask them to give me and my friends clean plates and as I was here for food I enjoyed it. The 4 stars are for food and not service.

It was my first time dining at Konkan Express. I had ordered surmai and pomphret thali. The food was very good. It was not cold. The fish was tasty and fresh. I also ordered bangda fry. What I wondered about was that whether will it be fresh? And definitely it was. It was tasty crunchy and hot. The pomfret in the thali was big, fresh and fried in such a way that the meat inside was juicy, soft and warm. The curry was flavourful and thick and was yummy with warm chapatis.The quantity was very well sufficient for thali. If you order bangda fry, you will get two full fish.The fried surmai piece was big in surmai thali and was neatly fried in rawa making it crunchy on outside and warm inside. The curry piece was nicely absorbed in curry and cooked well.The rice quantity you might think it to be a little less, but I found it sufficient enough as the thali consists of three normal sized chapatis.They also provide onions and lemon.Last but not the least, solkadi was like cheery on top. Drinking it was soothing and gave a feeling of fulfillment.You will enjoy here if you come to Konkan Express!Four stars from me!

Just now ordered Prawns masala, rice and jawar bhakri. Prawns masala and rice bhakari was good. Jawar bhakari was stale. It had gone bad. It smelled. How can bhakari be served stale? Very disappointed with the experience.

Ordered food from here once and they delivered it after a few hours. The food quality was not as great either. This place is not so far from getting shut down.They are literally living on the edge for the past couple of years. Insanely pathetic.

This is a very nice place to have authentic konkan fish food. The food prices are very reasonable . The interiors are basic, with the wash rooms requiring some make over. Parking space is also a concern during evenings.

A summer afternoon and craving for fish. Took me to this decent place on Karve road. The Thali was sufficient for me and was delicious . The authenticity of the taste was prominent. Must try.

Just average. They lost me the minute they served solkadhi made of buttermilk. Food is average and they seem to add colours to their gravies which is not a great thing.Solkadhi is made out of coconut milk so they can pretty much do it and charge accordingly.

I tried surmai fish thali..and it was amazing..the taste of Curry and masala was delicious...Loved to visit it again.
