This is a restaurant in the Novotel Hotel on Nagar Road, Pune. They have a big buffet spread specially on Sunday. One has a choice of Buffet with or without alcohol. Food is delicious with North Indian, Asian, Chinese and Continental cuisines. On buffet days, a la carte is not avsilable. Staff is polite and service is crisp. Used to have live music on Sundays but was discontinued due to the pandemic. A must visit.

Great buffet experience. They have good spread and live counters for pizza pasta. Dessert section was really great. Ambience of the place is also nice. Worth going for special occasions

Absolutely disgusting experience. Very rude staff at the restaurant. The food arrived 30 minutes late. Cooling and air conditioning was not up to par with a five star. Icing on this shitcake was that , FLIES were sitting on the food and we had to send it back. Shame on Novotel to take peoples money. Scoundrels.

Went to The Square for a Sunday brunch and was pleasantly surprised by the array of sorted dishes! The ambiance is a casual and pleasant one. There is a good spread so we took our time to try out whatever fancied our eyes. Continental cuisines where spot on, Indian dishes were not at par though ...They have an impressive dessert selection, which the kids enjoyed. With live music, good ambiance, great food and courteous staff, it was a Sunday Brunch well spent.

Ginger, raw papaya, pulses, taro and banana peel ash are the main ingredients. I tasted a Khaar made with cucumber, pink masoor Dal, cooked in mustard oil. I called it my comfort food and it’s to be eaten with rice. This is the first course. I helped myself to some Rohar Dal from the veg section which was simple.Second course is usually the meat. A thick rich gravy with indian spices and juicy pieces of mutton. #Mutton_curry was #Delicious.The four pitika are Simple dishes but a big hit. These are siders that are eaten with the mains. They break the monotony of a certain tastes and are essentially taste bud cleansers .#Alu_pitika was made with mashed potatoes, raw cut onions, green chillies and fresh corriander mixed well with cold mustard oil.#Bengna/baigan_Poora had roasted eggplant, and the same ingredients mentioned above.#Pineapple_Tok steamed pieces of pineapple with panch phodan(5spices) in mustard oil. Delicious#Bilani_Poora made with roasted plum tomatoes, skin removed and mixed with ingredients similar to baigan Poora.The final dish is the tangy and sour tasting #MaasurTenga. Today’s was tomatoes and lemon that add sourness to the fish curry. This thin curry was mind-blowing.#SweetsRice Kheer: creamy thick rice Kheer, mildly sweet. Lots of dry fruits.Gaja: Similar like a Balushai , sweet and rich.Rasgulla : melt in your mouth. DeliciousNariyal Laroo : soft, sweet and terrific ladooBlack til Laroo : similar taste like a til ka ladoo with less Jagger.Being a Sunday night, each and every table was occupied. The buffet has continental, indian and the Assamese counters. However this was popular as one had to stand in line for refill.I take a bow , Monjeeta has outdone herself. Great food and service..

The ambience was good, but if you are a veggie dont go here for food.There were hardly any options for veggies in starter and Main course.My Nov- Friends do said that food was good.Though Deserts were great.But even for drinkers, they have wide options but the bar closes at 10, so definatly drinkers will be disappointed.

Just finished our Team party at The Square; as always we had an amazing experience, it was an almost perfect dine as always. I would like to say that everyone was always accommodating and helpful when needed. Kudos to all the wait staff...we loved everything about The Square and will be returning same time next year.

Great ambiance and well maintained place. Good for group as well as solo diner. The spread is wide enough to offer delicacies to suit all type of taste buds. You got to have patiently visit and see what all is there to savor, else very good possibility of missing something that may leave you regretting later. Staff is helpful and that sense of hospitality shows off quite clearly. Overall a good experience.

Awesome buffet spread. Very good taste as well as presentation of the food items. Its a culinary treat as well as treat for the eyes. Ambience is very relaxing and you can easily have meeting lunches as there is no rush. Lots of variety in starer and salads.

It was Great time we spent here!

I used to be a fan of squares Sunday brunch earlier and monthly one visit was a must as my folks loved it. Now in my last two visits, I feel some how the food options have drastically reduced and I also found that the taste has deteriorated a bit. Even the live music has stopped. The staff has also changed ( which is a normal nowadays in hotel industry) but they were greatly helpful and courteous which made our day. Need to rethink on the cuisine and the overall presentation which can bring back the earlier fans of Square including yours truly.

Very good ambience. Place is neat and clean and best part is great sitting arrangements. You great really good space for individual. Buffet spread is also very nice and good taste.

Pros: Easy to find as located on Nagar road. This is Novotel area hence luxurious Interior with Good food taste. Staff is very much co-operative .Cons: Drink timings ends at 10pm . Lunch timings also ends near about 11pm .

The Square is a good choice for a Sunday brunch. With a varied and scrumptious spread, and not to forget the live music, The Square treats you a memorable experience.The food is delicious, with a wide range of salads and main course. But if you are a dessert person, then youll definitely enjoy the sweet spread.I would recommend The Square for a good experience.

I have a midnight experience with The Square for a birthday celebration. It was quite good, spacious, less crowded than expected (almost no crowd) and free moment to speak and behave your mind out. Food was great and servicing was also very much good. One will enjoy the quietness and celebration planned for midnight.

The restaurant was good. Food is nice. I’ve opted for buffet dinner. Variety of food is available here. Pricing is ok. Ambiance and / or interior could be more better than this.

Amazing hospitality

Went with my team for the lunch party. Hospitality is outstanding, but the food and taste is 2/5. Very less options for starters, Desserts were were too sweet!

This resraurant is a part of Novtel Hotel. This resraurant has very good ambience ans offer only buffet.Restaurant servers drinks along with food with it is only till 10 PM.The food was tasty as per my Non Vegetarian friends but there was hardly any option for veggies.Though they offer a wide range of desrets and they were really awesome.At last this is not a place for veggies, a good option for non veggies and heaven for desert lovers

We had a dinner on 29 Sep 2018 as Novotel Square and was surprised to see much degraded level of service. Buffet serving plates were empty most of the time and they needed multiple reminders to fill it. When I stressed on the need to pay attention on the service quality we were offered to have it served on the table. I realize its only to avoid arguments, we kept waiting forever. I was shocked to see all these because these are basic level of things, which you expect from any restaurant (without any star label).Coming on to food quality, it was pathetic. It felt like we wasted Rs. 1200 per head for nothing. Food was not cooked. Soup bowl appeared to like finger bowl with mostly water in it. Chicken was not properly cooked. Fish was mixed with egg and smelt like egg. There hardly was any variety in food. Veg guys should not even visit this place.Now coming to billing. How much time do you think billing should take ? For us it took >30 min. Bill preparation took 15 min. 2 corrections were required. Credit card machine stopped in between and so had to be repaired :-). All this no sign of apology at any level.Complete waste of money. Not worth at all !!
