Very good KHIKA i.e Khichadi kakdi . Very nice place for morning breakfast. Vada sample and tea are good .Even you can taste poha.

Appa is legendary outlet originally near deccan. They now have 2 branches. One near omkareshwar temple and another in karvenagar.Its main signature dish is khichadi kakdi calked khika.Its sabudana khichdi with cucumber and yogurt.They serve other breakfast items. Few items available daily and few change. I tried wada chutney also. Their matar usal also better.The cost is reasonable and food quality good.

Good place. Clean too. I visited this place in the afternoon for trying new food. Food items are very limited though quality is good. I ordered khichadi kaakdi which was tasty. I rate this place 3.5/5 because of cleanliness. Staff is cortereous. Near to tathavade udyan.

भंगार चवीसाठी प्रसिद्ध....not value for money.... the pohe was for 30/- and not upto the mark, one have to purchase separate sambhar and its also cost you anather 30/- so one poha plate cost you 60/-

Best taste except the price being abit expensive for breakfast. But quality and taste compensates for it .

Quality used to be good but last 3-4 times khichadi was not soft and tasted like leftovers.. not worth for money !

Place is small, cozy and nondescript in terms of ambiance. However whatever limited menu they have...it is quite decent. In particular i found Poha one of the best i have had. Also their Khichdi kakdi is famous, albeit i didnt like the kakdi it was too sweet.

Its good as a usual snack centre ...but if you are looking for old aappachi khichadi taste then its a miss ....earlier they used to deliver authentic and homely taste ... without any ambience ...

Ordered dahi wada but what I got i felt its cold kadhi wada with no toppings like shev,bundi etc even no additional chatanis or red chilly powder, coriander powder provided..Besides this the cost is high for what got served.

2 stars for the food quality and taste (which is okay btw), and most appalling thing about the place is the waiters irritated response when you order food at different intervals ! Poor service by the waiter... Definitely wont recommend this place to anyone, well, unless you dont mind the waiters pathetic quips

Appa is famous for khichdi. So tried it. But couldnt find anything extraordinary.. overpriced compared to quantity and quality. Also tried misal.. here misal is served with bread slice instead of pav as everywhere else. However taste of misal/rassa was bland.. well below average.. Appas should improve on misal quality, overpricing of items etc..

Had a tasty breakfast at this place some days back. The food quality and taste is great. Khichadi Kakdi is a must try. Wada-Sample is something which I ate for the first time. I think it had a lot of oil and taste was average (may be coz had post amazing Khichadi).

Good place for Lakdi khichdi. Always happy to easily get parking area for my bike in front of Appa.

The worst food ever tested.And also it is so expensive with no test at all.If there isa option for half dish. Then it has to be wrote down on menu list. Its not there. Also you have a veey limited menu.

Kichadi-Kakadi is one of the favorite dish! If you want to try Authentic puneri Khichadi (sabudana), Aappa is the only name! Do try Bread slice and usal, best taste!

Remembere the original Appa khichadi at Deccan Gymkhana ground. After gym or game people used to have kakadi khichadi (Cucumber salad and sago, penut, potato mixed delicious dish)

Had Khichadi for what is Appa is famous for. But I didnt feel any extraordinary taste to it also its overpriced for the taste and quantity they serve.

KhiKa (Khichadi + Kakdi koshimbir) is very good. Misal was delicious as well. Spicy level was perfect! Would love to go again!

Legendary eatery in Pune has now a branch in Karvenagar. Reliving the same old taste of that perfect kakdi khichdi at Deccan. To be honest nothing can beat this but, there has been a 19-20 in taste and just some attitude or love towards customers. Im not complaining but can understand. Puneri.!Im not a chaha person but I would definitely say that chaha here is a top notch. I would suggest not to have coolers or serbat as per my experiences.

One of my favourite places to have Khichadi at. Unfortunately, this particular branch of Appa Chi Khichadi is a little disappointing when it comes to the authentic taste of the khichadi that I am used to from their home branch. But good khichadi whatsoever.
