Well after reading the negative review about the owner, I would say that the people who work there especially the technicians know their craft. I recently serviced my cycle and the technician gave me some good insights about technical things.

This is the first time i visited Surendar cycles.. I had very bad experience.. I had taken my Firefox colrado for rear brake fixing.. First i had to wait for mechanic.. I was told he had gone to take parcel.. Then he was opening wrong screws.. Then i had to tell him how to remove the brake unit..then he told me come after one hour its our lunch time.. I told him ok i will wait here only.. he replaced only outer wire cover of rear brake and cleaned the break pads.. And told me to pay Rs 300 at the shop.. I went to payment counter and asked them wht is cost of outer wire cover they said two hundred for wire and two hundred for outer cover.. Then i told them i want proper bill for this.. The billing person was confused how to do this Then other person in the store told him write two wire covers..then he made the bill for Rs 300... I told him you had only put one why are you writing two.. Then he told me its in two parts.. I told him how can you have two outer covers for one set of brakes.. I went and checked from the other cycle shops.. Its only one.. So this the way they fool customers for little as much as Rs 100.. Pl avoid visiting this shop.. I will be putting official complaint in consumer court since i have original bill issued by them... So pl avoid visiting place like this.. Who fools customers..

Great experience. They gave a detailed summary of each bicycle we shortlisted and were patient enough to understand our questions and solve our doubts.... They walked us through the pluses and minuses of each bike and guided us to come to a very well thought over decision.Thank you!

I met with a small bike crash and my RD was not working, it got bend. Mechanic at Surendar Cycle repaired it, otherwise I had to replace the part and in current time getting spare parts is such a difficult task. Superb service and customer care. Special thanks to the Mechanic for that skilled service.

As always it is a pleasure to visit this store. The staff is courteous. Product availability is great with a varied choice for your budgets. The owner, Mr. Talwar is expert in his domain and gives unbiased advice. If you want a quality cycle / accessory, then this is the place to visit!!!

My experience was worse. I felt this shop has no policy of “customer satisfaction.” They were rude and are providing less service and accessories than any other shop. I decided not to go again to this shop, and will not recommend it to anyone.

Most competent repair-garage for cycles with complex gear systems. Mr. Baksh is helpful and knowledgeable. As a Pune shop goes, loads of attitude, but if you are open to some banter, this is a wonderful one-stop shop for cycles, cycle parts and repairs.

The shop is nice and have good collection of bicycles. Had great expectations. Visited just once for enquiry. Owner treated us with less importance and was in a mood of ignorance. I believe the owner expectations was to deal with some professional cyclist or track racer. Total disappointment.

Bought mitra madrock for 18K which was my first gear cycle last year june. Owner was treating me as if it was nothing buying cycle worth 18 k. I can understand people buying expensive cues in 70-80 K or more will give him more profit. But it does Not mean average people buying normal cycles can be treated disrespectfully. Even similar experience during first servicing. Unfortunate. The shop has best of the cycles but owner needs to chAnge attitude.

They have a good collection of cycles across brands. Reasonable prices and they do negotiate when pressed for.

Have known Talwar sir for quite some time. Knowledgeable and gives apt/genuine advice. Shop is run by a wonderful team. Range of products by track and trail is fantastic. Maintenance and repair service is very good. Will honour their time commitments. Moneys worth.

Owner as well as the staff behave as if they are doing us a favour. They do not value customers. Also, they overcharge for repairs and spare parts. Better to look for another cycle shop than argue with the owner.

Went to buy a bike, staff was very helpful, they assembled a bike just so that i can check them size, the owner was very kind as well. Location of shop is easier to reach. Accessories prices are higher than market price. Cycles with gear set up are available for sale or rent. Shop having good set up and show room.

Extremely rude behaviour.I have bought cycle from this shop in the past. The experience then was good. So I went hoping for better information. I wanted to buy a cycle next weekend for a special occasion. I would have bought if I got right recommendation. Price difference with (say) Amazon was not important.When I went to shop, the owner was attending to a customer. I didnt want to disturb a potential sale. So I waited and was looking around till he finished attending customer. After that he just looked at me. I asked exactly 2 questions.Why there is suspension. He said it is not needed and only for rough rides it is needed. I asked him about ladies cycle. He showed me the ladies cycle (with suspension) and walked away. After that he went to attend a lady who was there for repairing. After that he didnt even look in my direction. I went to nearby sweet shop and when I came back the shop had no customer. But I had decided never to go back to this.Even Chitale Bandhu is adopting to new Pune. You cannot show this attitude and survive for long.

One of the old and once reputed cycle stores. I bought my old, first full-size cycle from here, it was a BSA SLR. Still remember that they had waited till late to do the fittings. But recently when I went here to buy a cycle, did not like the way they treated us. The manager asked me for my budget, and I told him. Which apparently was lower than his expectation, he said to me: Ill tell you one thing, dont buy a cycle and went back to his desk. He was obviously not keen on selling a less than 10k cycle, but that was no reason for such rude response. Dont waste your time here.

Good store to get all cycle related accessories. However accessories are sold at MRP. Cycle servicing is also good.

This place is very good and they have awesome collection of bicycles of both geared and non geared to sell and it also provide other cycle accessories.

This place is very well located along Karve Road, one of the busiest roads of Pune. They have a wide variety of bicycles to offer on rent. Do kindly note that all their bicycles are geared; hence, if you are looking for something simpler, this is not the place for you. Nonetheless, even if youre not used to bicycle gears, fear not; the staff are highly competent and will surely help you understand gears. All cycles are thoroughly checked before being lended to customers. The owner is a friendly gentleman with a pleasing personality. They charge a deposit of Rs. 2000/-, from which they deduct Rs. 350/- as the hiring rate (the rest, i.e. Rs. 1650/- is returned to you on returning the bicycle). You would have to fill a form and submit an original government ID; only then will you be given a bicycle.Overall, a great experience! I shall definitely do this again!One suggestion: please ensure that you find out about tyre puncture menders before setting out riding, since this will help take care of any unprecedented tyre punctures.

The salespeople are disinterested. I dont think they seemed very keen on selling. Therefore I went to Firefox to buy one. There service was far better.

The owner might have knowledge about bicycles, but I found him to be extremely rude, unhelpful and disengaged. Apparently he likes to deal with only those who wish to purchase expensive bicycles! its not just me but a lot of my friends who have experienced this...

Recently bought a bike from Surendar stores. I knew I wanted to buy the Schwinn Sporterra as I had researched well on the internet. I was not sure about the size though. The owner asked me to ride different sized bikes and I eventually bought the Large sized one.Very friendly owner, had quite a few long chats with him. Helpful staff, they actually told me not to go for all the accessories now. Asked me to come later as and when required.Cycle is as smooth as expected. Clocked around a 100 kms on it already.
