This is a cosy and quaint little cafe setup off road. One of my favorite place in Pune serving the breakfast and pancakes 🤤I wish if they had an outlet in Mumbai as well. The Baner outlet is spacious than the Kalyani Nagar one. Love the ambiance of this place, the soft jazz music in the background and the servers are not nosy and will not bother frequently to place an order.
First off, this used to be The Flour Works in Baner. It isnt anymore. Its now called Rustle Nest. Went there for brunch today with the wife and two dogs, plus a friend. The biggest plus for me - the place is dog friendly. It still has an outdoor dining area where you can have your pets with you, and an indoor dining area. The staff was friendly. My wife and a friend shared a hot chocolate with orange. It was literally molten chocolate, pretty much a meal in itself. I saved my space for the excellent burger and half a steak sandwich. Mixed crowd of students and family. Quality and taste of the food was great. Valet parking available. Ill probably be hanging out there often.
The quality of food in different outlets should not be so different.. the pesto pasta did not have authentic pesto sauce.. it had a college canteen type cream based sauce.. whereas in kalyaninagar they serve the real stuff.. It was very sad and embarrassing.. I had friends from out of town.. uninspired food.. lacks love..
Great location, outdoor sitting, valet parking, good service but food is average. We ordered a number of things including a chicken and capers omelette for breakfast. The omelette was bland, the two pieces of bread were tiny. While my friend got a toasted fresh one, I got a plain and slate dense bread. The chicken sausages too were bland and were one of those frozen brands. Coffee was good.
Visited this place once. Ambience is nice. There is a cat which hangs around the place and keeps taking pets and bites from the patrons who visit. The food overall is decent but the beef sandwich that I tried was below average. It is understood that beef generally needs to be cooked for much longer than other meats but especially in India many restaurants make the mistake of cooking it for a much shorter time. Same case here, the beef literally felt rubbery, hard and chewy and I gave some pieces to the cat. Please do not order beef if visiting this place.
Hands down one of the best cafes around Baner. The crowd is quite pleasing and the food too is great. They also have booze on the menu with bar rates that might enrich your experience. This Cafe is also Pet-Friendly and they have a really playful husky there :)Taking off a star for slow customer service which I know will definitely improve with time.
Good place and ambience, has limited indoor sitting. There are extensive options on menu in all courses. There are outdoor seating options as well, but are closed down due to restrictions and weather. The staff is very courteous and food is prepared in time and had even accommodated to a special request when notified before time. Has all kinds of meat so need to be careful while ordering. Wouldnt recommend the place for easy chit chatting inside as tables are pretty close and voices are carried over to other tables of somebody is loud.Has a sign at lane start so its easy to find from the main baner road.Has parking in the plot in front of it which is not an actual parking, so kind of mushy mushy in the rains.
An ideal place for a good breakfast with peaceful locality. My partner and me wanted to try the food here and must say we enjoyed it. We tried the Spanish Fritata and a Bacon Sandwich with fried eggs. We also ordered their black tea and masala chai. A must visit place for people who enjoy continental food or enjoy English breakfasts. Its close the the main road in Baner. The service was excellent and the place has kept the pricing optimum.
Alright. In a word that sums up the place. One of the better places in Baner that servers authentic continental food. The food is good, service is great and place too. Can go here for chilled out vibes and alright food.I am regular at their KP outlet and for some reason I had a better experience there.
We had been there once before and had sandwiched which were amazing. Today we went there for lunch and were very disappointed. Pizza bread was very bad. Burger patty was very dry. BBQ prawn was really good. Chicken roulade was tasteless. Ambience is awesome but they need to work on the taste. Today was a waste of every penny that I spend.
The ambience is amazing surrounded by greens. It is a pet friendly cafe so you can get your cats and dogs along. The coolers and coffee is nice, the pastas come without veggies but you can customise that.
I went to the restaurant reading the reviews, however, I had a very bad experience. I went alone to have breakfast. I was asked to change my seats multiple times. the last time, I was in midst of my breakfast, to accommodate a larger group. The behaviour was patronizing and insulting. I think the service is totally unprofessional and all customers should be treated equally irrespective of their group size. I left in tears and I would not advice others to visit the cafe alone.
This place is home , it feels my hometown , such a lovely quiet ambience !! Loved the place . Must try pumpkin soup and some amazing bread. Menu is quiet elaborate , food is cooked with perfection , lovely balance of flavors and yes they master the flour . I have cut 1 star for 1) people smoke cigarettes in the public which the team should not allow , that is suffocating and creates allergy , i couldn’t stand there for more than a minute 2) veg. Croquettes had too much of salt and processed ingredients 3) the lime soda was artificial with high sugar
Really amazing place. Tucked away in a corner. Ambience is amazing. Food is very tasty. Spread is amazing. Very unique.Vibes are really amazing. It is my favourite place now
Highlights-- Pet friendly cafe- outdoor seating experience is perfect! Very green and quaint. This place is away from the main road, in a quiet lane. They have an indoor seating area, out door and rooftop. I suggest you to sit outside since its so beautiful and green. The place is well maintained. Its a good choice for a breakfast or brunch meal. I have been here 3 times and the third time I noticed that the portions of food have become smaller. I ordered a sausage, eggs and cheese sandwich and I got two really small burger shaped sandwich. The taste has not changed though, I still like it. The snow lemonade is pretty average, you can skip this one. But you can experiment with other beverages.
This is my place for breakfast, work and all day breakfast. The ambience and food is top notch. A regular :)
Excellent place to chill. You can also work side by side, internet is also available. Oh, food is great too 😊
What a beaut, this breezy café!Situated in a small lane on Baner road, this is the perfect place for a cozy date or a hearty conversation. I was really impressed with their service and ambience.Tried the seafood pasta and it was amazing. They also serve alcohol, so enjoying a chilled beer here is a must with all the cool wind blowing and the greenery around.
The experience was abysmal.Slow service, lukewarm food and a bad after taste. We ordered the cheese grilled sandwich which had cheese only on the outer corners, and the glio olio pasta was undercooked. Again, the cheese that was prominently written on the menu was hardly there, and the cappuccino couldve been renamed as cold coffee.I heard raving reviews of the place and hence visited it, but I would suggest not to waste your money on such overpriced food just for the ambience
Awesome experience and food is greatTry bacon, egg Benedict and pulled pork sandwich.Cold coffee is good.Hot chocolate is too sweet and thick..
Decent place. Good ambiance and rates. Portions slightly small.
Excellent food. Very well proceed. The indoor seating was a little on the cooler side but a fabulous interior and ambience. The food was amazingly on point. Not very often that I stop and analyze the flavours but this time it was warranted. The breakfast items are sublime. Eggs Benedict completely recommended
The staff was very rude, not just to me, to another couple who came too. The two big tables on the inside had reserved sign and nobody was allowed to sit there. The two small tables in the inside corner had two different families cramped in. So much for social distancing. The man at the gate slammed the barricade in peoples faces as if the restaurant is doing them a favour by letting in. A true case of the owner being clueless about his staffs people skills. Also, not yet allowed done in and these guys seem to be doing it illegally.
This place offers a very cosy and warm surrounding for little breakfast date or family outing. The vibe of the place is homely and positive ✌️
Good place for groups especially for breakfast. The ambience is quite nice and vibrant. The price is on the higher side but the quality, food taste, the preparation, service and the ambience really earns it!They have an interesting range of pastries, cakes and also tea as well coffee. Would definitely visit again and it was worth the visit.
Flour Works is my favorite cafe. Glad they have opened up in this side of the city. The cafe has a lovely ambience, interior design is very well done. It has a very relaxing feel to it. They have a valet service too which even the best of cafes do not offer. The menu is quite elaborate, the staff helps you well with choosing the right food. Its ideal to sit and work here the place is usually very calm and not over crowded. Kalyani Nagar Cafe would still be my personal favourite.
The best hot chocolate I have ever had... The place is very nice.. You can sit there for long time and also you can work there..
Loved this place. Very hygienic.nice food. Lovely ambience
A few day back I visited 3-4 places in baner to taste the hot chocolate and select the best one .And out of the 4 this was the best place where I had the yummy , delicious hot chocolate 😋.This place has a very good ambience and the staff was so polite that they helped us with discussing the food items .You can visit this place with your friends and can enjoy classy and delicious food 😉.Also the place is very spacious you can celebrate birthday parties over here 🥳.I had this spiced hot chocolate @theflourworks at their Baner branch which comes in my top 4 picks. The consistency of the chocolate and other elements are perfect and the balanced sweetness makes you to have more. The additional punch of spices makes it unique and one of a kind. It had cinnamon powder sprinkled on it . The taste of sweet hot chocolate and spicy powder made it a unique one to taste that’s why I loved this one 😉. It costed Rs 215/-Do visit this place with your friends and I would recommend you to must try this one 🙂
Nice place, decent food. The hollandaise sauce for the eggs benedict could really be worked on, but the hot chocolate is heavenly
A very descent place with nice ambience. Food and service is really appreciable. Best things noted are the separate smoking and non-smoking section, that makes it comfortable for everyone. To add on to it, this place is a silent and calm place to soothe you working from here or just sit and chat. No loud music and no fussy things around. Very beautiful and calm place.
A small bungalow in a bylane so narrow that a vehicle cant turn around. Thankfully they have valet parking. The ambience is green and peaceful, a great way to spend a lazy afternoon doing brunch with friends. The bacon omelette and blueberry pancakes were great, although bread slices were tiny. The Lemon Iced Tea was just perfect.
We ordered Hot Chocolate-Orange, Cappuccino, Spring Onion & Bacon Omellete, and Bacon, Rucola Fried Egg SandwichFirst came the Hot Chocolate-Orange - a favorite drink of the kings and nobles - which was ordered in believing in the ancient theory that chocolate which was used as a medicine for anti-depression will cure mine mostly caused by waking up early. TFW did their own riff on the classic Hot Chocolate by sprinkling, quite liberally, finely grated, dried strands of the finest orange. The combination of hot chocolate and aromatic orange strands was such that it felt like being in the middle of a place where the hot chocolate brought back memories of White Christmas winter holiday in Stockholm and the Orange strands reminded me of the many hot summer afternoons spent in revealing the streets of Nagpur. The chocolate used at TWB was the chocolate of esteem honor, with great lure, elegance, and, well, made with the finest of ingredients. The chocolate tasted like a typical Belgian chocolate - very comforting and forward without too many distractions - having a classic milk flavor, fudge-like earthy taste with almost zero noticeable sourness, fruitiness or lingering floral flavors on the palate. This straightforward taste is the cornerstone of the chocolate which would make any chocolatier proud of his craft. And this is where TWBs Hot Chocolate separates itself from the rest. Although a lil too sweet for me, the cup was filled almost put to the rim, the quantity can comfortably suffice two people in my opinion or for those longish breakfasts-that-turn-into-lunch rendezvous with friends. This is #absolutemusthave item.Spring Onion & Bacon Omellete:Served with crispy hash brown, grilled tomatoes, choices of bread (2 slices), and a heavyweight omelet stuffed with lots of melted cheese. This was a decent breakfast item. Nothing earth-shattering. Could do well with a dash of spice with tabasco sauce or chili flakes in it. Also the bacon pieces mustve been bigger as compared to the small lil chunks that are presently in the omelette. #passableBacon, Rucola Fried Egg Sandwich:Super hungry? Have this huge sandwich. It will fill your senses along with your stomach too. I loved TWBs upscale twist on the traditional scrambled egg and bacon breakfast sandwich featuring sweet, tender caramelized onion and peppery arugula. This sandwich is the humble, next-door McMuffin gone beserk with added intense complexity of bacon and dressed, peppery arugula to boost the taste. Again, a #highlyrecommended item.Overall, TWBs service was quick, attentive, and courteous. The food was good and the surrounding greens are soul-calming in a way. Absolutely loved the way the whole thing is setup. Reminded me of the old days when Vaishali and Prems had this kinda greenery around the tables. We were told by the TWB staff that they would soon open a full-fledged bar and the works! And that there will be Wine Connsierur classes and other activities too.I am absolutely going again to try a few more items...but this time in my own sweet time. TWB is my new favorite.
The Flour works Baner is a great place for a evening dinner. Entering this place, it very peaceful and quiet. The ambience is cool. The have a good variety in what they serve. We had ordered a white sauce penne pasta , and a pepperoni pizza. Pasta was good but not the best that ive had. The pizza was great. 2 dishes here are more than enough to fill your stomach hence, we couldnt try anything else. The service is good. It costs a little on the higher end, but the quantity of food justifies it. All in all a great experience
This place super amazing with such a lovely ambience. Definitely try the garlic chicken and barbecue pizza
Great outdoor place with quick service and decent food. Their Eggs Benedict are great. I like the bacon, sausage and jalapeño pizza too. Nice crispy base. The caramel coffee was very so so. My friend had the Vietnamese tea with condensed milk and that was good. Overall good value for money.
This place is amazing. The food, the staff, the ambience and the puppies everything is Perfect.
Lovely cafe..unique menu, vibes thatll suited for dating. Better than most cafes of KP
Great experience and really tasty food.. One of the best pet-friendly restaurants..
Best place for breakfast/brunch. Many good quality and tasty options. :)
Great pet friendly place
You can enjoy good food and work an entire day in an open courtyard shaded with trees
Nice ambience and tasty food..
Being a die hard chocolate fan and having heard of their hot chocolate big time from my blogger friend I visited this cafe to try their hot chocolate myself. They have both indoor and outdoor seating arrangement. They serve two types of hot chocolate. One is classic and the other one is masala hot chocolate. The classic one is thicker in texture as compared to their one. However, both tasted yummy and stood up to my expectations.
The ambience is quite well done. Food was, albeit expensive, quite delightful. Their alcohol menu was limited, but the place doesnt warrant heavy drinkers anyway. Parking needs to be better, especially for women. Its a couple meters away through the alley and that too at pitch dark with no street lights. Some provision can be made.
Amazing place for sumptuous brunch. Absolutely love the ambience and taste!
Amzing food and ambience. But they need to review the menu once, it has dishes which contains eggs in the veg section.
This places name/ management has changed, still pretty good
Food is good, Ambience can be improved a bit.Portion sizes are good.
Amazing place for breakfast and brunch.Fills your tummy..
Me and my colleagues visited this place last week. This place is quite cozy and pleasant, has both inside and outside seating. We ordered some Trio dips with pita and lavash, Mini oats and veg burgers and Waffles with peanut butter, banana and chocolate sauce. We tasted yum.One must definitely try out this place when nearby as one can also sit and work there.Must give it a try!
TBH Ive visited the place only twice. My experience the first time was great. Great food, ambience and the cat with the fluffy tail graced us with her company. The second time around the food was good. But the waiter kept taking the menu away from us as it would get dirty, leaving us a little confused and a little amused.
Nice place. Its built in a bungalow or at least it gives that feel. Could be difficult to locate since its not exactly on the main road so keep an eye out for a sign.Try the Vietnamese coffee of you like strong coffee. Quite good. Food is overall okay but a quiet place to hangout and have brunch
Really a great place to have breakfast. Really liked the omlettes they serve.
Superb ambience and very good food... So presentable... The place has an amazing breakfast menu... Totally worth visiting...
This is the lane which I will never forget ...awesome place , beautiful ambiance, tasty food and drinks and the best part you can hop in 8am in the morning till late night..We truly enjoyed the food and ambiance
Nice cozy place.. food was good..
Amazing Place. I request them to made a customized pan cake for my friends birthday. Even though their pancakes batter is made of egg and they dont sell any kind of cake but still on special demand from a general customer they made the customized eggless cake completely made up of pancake. Amazing people and the cake was super delicious and that too at a very reasonable price.
It was fine, the service was a little shaky but the food was good.
Amazing place to hang out ! The service is very good and frienly ! Ambience is excellent for a brunch!
Food is not good. I have been here twice, I had pastas, vietnamese coffee, ice tea, soups, salads and none of it was good. The sit out is pretty but the food is worst. I would not recommend this place to anyone who is a foodie
Good outdoor seating setup for hanging out with friends and family. Had veg items - croquettes and pizza. Pizza was just okay but the croquettes were very nice. My wifey ordered a cappuccino and was utterly disappointed with it because it was too watery and hardly any milk in it. Would love to visit again to try their non veg items!
The food is simply so tasty and authentic genuine ingredients are used. Every dish is like a treat. Service is also OK with simple café type atmosphere of slow and relaxed place. The one star less is as seating could be little more comfortable and would love a nicer ambience for the pricing.
Nice place. Gud ambience..good food..
Best Ambience! Give a amazing start to your with delicious breakfast!!
Casual. Liked the food. Chilled out.
An amazing bungalow turned into restaurant, this place is where you want to have a leisurely meal. The food bodes well especially with the ambience. Best part is it is one of the few pet-friendly places.
The flour works is really a your neighborhood Cafe with amazing European and Mediterranean food, booze and baked goodness. The outdoor seating is great for chats with friends, dates or even just spending some time with your thoughts 😀 Its a dog friendly Cafe, outdoor seating is a smoking zone. The food was true to the name if the recipes, amazing bakery stuff and polite and friendly staff.
Do you like your food pretty bad and overpriced. Well this is where you should definitely visit. Florentine was actually just poached egg on a coin size muffin shaped bread.
Ambiance of this place is awesome, so is the food. The portion/quantity of the food seems to be less. It has a dedicated parking in front of the restaurant. There will be waiting time, if you go at brunch time and in evening.
