Pathetic service. You can get to Mars easier than getting any work done by the bank. Person at reception behaves as if customers have all the time in the world and themselves they are CEOs. Security person behaves as a FBI employee. All the best for those going there.
Never bank with HSBCThe employees there are just waiting for a holiday/strike and when they can relax. This bank is misfit for Indian market, lethargic approach for anything.They need to learn from similar other Banks on how to be aggressive.Its not easy to penetrate Indian market with such lethargy.Any request you make and tell them its urgent, they work with their turn around time of 4-5 working days, 15 working days in some.I regret the decision of moving my home loan to HSBC as there is absolutely 0 transparency when it comes to documentation, or getting info related to any accounts and related services.If you are an HSBC customer banking with this branch, please move to some other bank.

The customer representative here are people who tend to pass sarcastic remarks .They dont tend to help the customers who have come to inquire but instead tend to make them realise we dont need you unless and until customer is billionaire .Worst service employees decide who gets asked for water and who doesnt.Worst branch ever would recommend try any other bank , other banks would go a step further to help .

Normally I dont write much review but this time I was forced to do that. Being a premier customer in HSBC branch Pune, and holding an NRI account their service is very very poor. I dont get response to my emails, Every time I have to send reminders. I never recommend anyone open an account here unless there is no option.
I would have rated as negative but there is no option so giving 1 star. For writing complaint also site is not opening. Not able to mail them as well. Also customer support people are not giving proper resolution. Very worst experience with HSBC bank services.
The bank is conveniently located at a very strategic location. My experience with the staff was pleasant and they were courteous enough to help resolve my queries. However, I was surprised to see that there is only one HSBC bank in entire Pune.
Extremely poor service. Should be rated with 0 stars.Changing your phone number after written communication is also not possible with this bank.No means to communicate , the IVR sucks and the customer care is pathetic.Not a bank to work with.

TRULY ZERO STARS!! This bank is by far the worst I’ve dealt with in any country. They have no urgency for their customers. They don’t know even the most rudimentary rules of banking or finance. The employees they hire are not at all competent. I had dealings with a girl named Silky. They tell you what you want to here to delay you. Nothing they say can be taken seriously.

Worst bank of pune Why? 1-only one branch in Pune if you r staying in Hinjewadi then it takes 1:30. hrs. 2- worst custumer service , no one there concern about your queries. 3- Worst custumer care.They dont have any knowledge , give only one solution visit branch office. Never go with Hsbc . 1 star is more than enough.

I have visited HSBC pune branch last week to pick my credit card.they nearly took more than an hour to handover card to me though at the branch only 2-3 customers were present . my experience is very bad as this bank(both branch and customer care) do know how to handle customer concerns.I have been trying to generate pin for my credit card for 6 days and still they are not able to provide me (usually its 2 min job if you apply another banks credit). I have called multiple times to their customer care some say it take 3 days ,some says 24 hrs but they are not able to generate in 6 days.So are also number of demerits with this bank as they totally dont care about customer convenience. Please avoid this bank as per my personal suggestion. Finally I have asked them to cancel my credit card, I dont how many months they will take answer the same.

Before visiting this branch I had read the reviews and I was under impression that it will be a time consuming process. But unexpectedly all the representatives I meet were helpful, in half hour I got the security device changed, also the representative (Sanjay Kumar, counter number 2) helped me in raising a address change request and in upgrading account from prim to advance.Overall it was a great experience.
I think this bank should just stop operating its business as they are completely in-capable of customer handling and communicating with the customer, it does not have any workable process to resolve customer issues and no one even bothers to answer emails regarding the issue, because they will get caught red-handed in their lapses over written communication. Right from Junior staff to their Managers, higher ups and their complaint handling wing just keeps mum on giving any commitment on providing timely resolutions.Sent my KYC docs in May16 and the bank still locked the account in Nov16 without any relevant communications on the documentation. As of Feb17 I am still waiting to have my account unlocked even after providing every possible document that was requested from me. The Account Manager , his bosses and the customer care does not even bother to answer when and who will confirm the process is completed to free up the account or if any additional info is needed even though you keep chasing them for the same month after month.Looks their KYC process is deaf , dumb, blind and mute and designed to block and hoard customers money rather than providing any kind of customer care through this process.
Only single branch in Pune? Surprising...!!! Even sahakari banks have minimim 3-4 branches.Hopeless service... Not recommended ....

Worst bank! Worst service!I used to work with HSBC GLT from last 2 years. I took 5 lakhs personal loan from HSBC , I asked the HSBC Employee who gave me loan that If in case I want to foreclose this loan , how much would I have to pay. He informed me 1 % of the remaining amount. I crosschecked with him, that even if I left HSBC, this rate will remain same. He confirmed this. I visited bank on 1st August and informed bank that I want to foreclose this amount and will be leaving HSBC on 3rd August. No one informed me that for non HSBC employees the rate of foreclosure is 3.5%. Not even the one who attended me on 1st when I was still in HSBC.I ended up paying whatever they wanted. Never trust this bank, it has the worst service, worst customer support system. They do they nothing for their employees or for theircustomers.RegardsChetna Chotrani
Very disappointing service from the staff. The bank is very rarely crowded, inspite of that you will spend hours in this branch for resolving minor issues.On one particular afternoon, i had to spend 3.5 hours for converting my saving account to NRO.... furthremore, the account is still not converted (after 15 days) and no one has any idea as to when it will be done.You guys have to improve a lot.

These people are very slow and irresponsible. They need to improve on processes. In case of any issues they will just keep on redirecting you to multiple help desks and helpdesk will ask you to visit the Branch again. I even tried to escalate the matter but it was not no use.
Worst service ever ..Have tried to call customer service and they kept me hold for 20 min ...after picking up my call they said that we are transferring your call to respective department and again they kept me on hold nearby 15 min ..even being on hold the call got disconnected after some time ..Too much irritating ..
