Add to your list.Shizusan is by far one of the very best pan Asian restaurants in Pune and there is hardly any other in the area to beat this at taste and quality.The sushi and sashimi served here are among the very best I have ever had the chance to delve into, in India, and the salmon was extremely fresh as well. The presentation was very detailed and very crisp and all dishes are IG worthy as well.The baby back ribs was so mouth watering, though fatty like hell, that the flesh just slipped off the bones the moment you pick them up showing the cooks expertise.There are quite a lot of Thai and Indonesian dishes as well and am planning my next visit already...The ambience and mood and lighting is just perfect for a couple to spend some good time with each other while relishing Asian delicacies and at the same time it offers a joyous time for the entire family as well.Well maintained and extremely hygienic and followed all covid protocols.

The experience we have every time we go is amazing. The sushi was amazing. We tried tropical roll, mud crab, and rainbow Maki.

Ordered from here for the 1st time but the food was delicious, quantity was sufficient and packaging was also good. Tofu and rice was a great combo. Loved it.

This is an online order review. I particularly liked the prawns thai green curry combined with oink oink rice. However I didn’t quite like the Chinese version of chicken pepper. The nasi Goreng was average.However I have decided to go and try it in the restaurant itself for Japanese dishes.

Most awaited place to open ever since the lockdown. And I was the happiest when they finally did. Smooth delivery service as well! Zomato definitely put in discounts (which my broke-self was happy about) Shizusan is my favorite sushi place to keep coming back to. Also, you can never go wrong with the prawn tempura sushi.

Absolutely loved the food here. Always have loved shizusans food. Loved the Jalapeño pork bao, dynamite shrimp maki, salmon nigiri. Unfortunately there was no tuna on the day we visited the restaurant.

We went during the CoViD times in Dec-20. While the mall was crowded this place was like a cam and quiet oasis. When we entered we were given a seat of our choice. The staff was courteous and did not hurry us. Being vegetarians in a Japanese restaurant means options are limited but we had enough choice here. We had Shitake Mushroom Maki which was very nice. Then we had Veg Bao which was again hot, sweet and spicy. Our main course was Ramen which were again good. Overall a great place with good food and welcoming staff.

If you are fond of Japanese food, the restaurant is a must visit. I am particularly very fond of sushi and I was quite satisfied with the spread. They have a decent menu but I didnt quite enjoy the deep fried items, too greasy!Ambience is good, decent crowd and can enjoy a quite meal. The restaurant is small and generally booked, so you need to ensure to make an early reservation. Staff is good as well and were kind enough to customize my order.

Apart from the exorbitant taxes, this place is packed with some insane asian flavors. Courteous staff and prompt service. Red velvet cake is a must try.

I have taste their shushi name called as rainbow making really speaking it was yumm is taste.The drink called as thai thai after drinking thai thai i was feeling refreshing.The ambience of this place is fantastic you can visit with your family to enjoy your delicious dinner.Shizu San has Inbuilt bar their provide all range of soft and hard drink.

Shizusan at the Upper Ground floor of Phoenix Mall is a nice place for Asian food. The ambiance is good and service is fine. They have Happy Hours from 4pm-7pm everyday.Recommended Dishes:Water chestnut & chive dumplings - Good crunchy stuffings in an average sticky dough.Spicy Garlic Noodles - Tastes even better with the sweet & spicy sauce.A meal for two will cost about Rs. 1000 here without drinks, which is reasonable for the good ambiance and food. After using Zomato Gold, this place offers some great value for money.

I went to Shizusan (beautiful place) last Friday.. this is the first time i tried Sushi. For the first time if we try something good at a perfect place lasts an impact for that place. This place has my heart💞I tried veg and non veg sushi.Asparagus tempura is a veg sushi (rarely found) and it was yummy 😍 for the first time experience of sushi i just love that at the first bite. Dynamite shrimp is a non veg sushi has shrimps in it as Im not fond of shrimps but i had one bite and it was wow😍 and spicy.Then i tried the bao. One vegetable Kung pao Bao and it was soft and spicy. Pulled chicken bao where bao was filled with the chicken chunks and it was tasty.In Starters I had poached chicken and Gung pao potatoes and those potatoes is very scrumptious 💞I tried the veg and non veg dimsum. I love the non veg dimsum alot. I wont recommend veg dimsums here.In main course i had chilli chicken garlic noodles and it was yummy of all😍 as Im the noodles lover😁Finally we had some desserts in which i had Lychee and date wonton with vanilla ice cream that was really savage to the mouth. It was so crispy where you can feel crisp at each bite😍 at last I had blueberry and mango cheesecake where blueberry has my heart 💞The place is really beautiful and amazing. For the amazing sushi and noodles you can go there whenever youre around phoenix ❣️😍

Authentic Asian food! Had the Vietnamese Pho soup which was tasty and wholesome. The lamb dimsums were juicy and cooked well. Must try- The pulled chicken Bao!! It is sweet and tangy and full of flavour. The staff was polite and welcoming. Beautiful ambience.

Menu Prices - on par with any 4 star big brand chain hotel. Food and especially service, unfortunately arent.Food is unceremoniously dumped on your table despite it not being busy and noone bothers to check with you if everything is OK after that. Yet, they argue a 10% service charge is pretty much their right. 3 stars are simply for the food!

Had some really good Baos here during the Bao festival. My favourite being the pork belly Bao. Dimsums are also good.

Shizu san is a good place to try Oriental Cuisine. It has got sushi, rolls, sake etc. The mud crab nigiri was good. Ordered noodles but I felt the quantity was less. 8 pieces of sushi costs 650 rupees, so its a bit on the expensive side.Nice ambience. Overall, a good place.

Our favorite restaurant to eat at Phoenix Marketcity Mall. Their sushi maki rolls is one of the best in the city. The Udon noodles in black bean sauce is a must try. Nasi goreng with chicken satay was very tasty! They have many Asian dishes to choose from and nothing will disappoint you.

They have an elaborate menu consisting of variety of sushi, baos, dimsums, maki rolls and noodles.We ordered:Spicy cheese wontons: Fried wontons with cheddar filling served with togarashi mayo dip. Its just melt in your mouth.Lattice chicken gyoza: Steamed and pan fried dumplings stuffed with chicken filling and flavoured with cilantro with crispy lattice. The presentation was good and the taste was equally great.Rainbow maki: Maki rolls filled with crabmeat and cucumber, wrapped beautifully in thin slices of salmon, tuna and avocado topped with tobiko, served with pickled ginger and wasabi. The presentation was spot on and it was mouth watering delicious.Vegetable kung pao bao: Soft bun steamed in bamboo basket.Yamada honjozo namachozo: Its a japanese rice wine with flowery aroma which was light and fresh.Overall it was an amazing experience and a must visit restaurant to try delicious pan asian delicacies.

Average Vietnamese flat noodle , there is more vegs than noodle and the pan fried Asian green taste a bit funny.

I would say 5* rated japanese restaurant. If you love susi, you are at the right place. I can even compare it with susi bentos available at tokyo supermarkets. We also loved the Okonomiyaki and baos their. Definitely recommend for Japanese food. Please be warned susi contains raw fish.

The range of menu they have to offer is the best sell. We have ordered dynamite shrimp sushi, Baby back ribs and Massaman curry. All the dishes were alright in taste, the presentation was well done.The service was excellent we were hardly waiting on the dishes to come by and the ambience was also good. If youre in the mall and want to fancy some Asian food go try this place.

One of the best restaurants that I have visited. The furniture and organization of the seating area gives off an environment of peace and the smell of fresh dimsums do the place a big favor. The garlic noodles were one to love. We ordered the translucent dimsums as well, along with the spicy soupy dimsums. All amazing. All good. A must have and visit.

Shizusan serves great east and south east asian food along with the best sushi in town. However, what I don’t like about this place is their dull ambience and their irregular seating arrangements which sort of mar the overall experience. This is definitely one of the more expensive places in the city to dine at so be ready to shell out more money than you thought you would.

The name of restaurant is very difficult to remember but the food taste is so awesome for that they will take you back to visit again to take another level of food experience. I had good time with my friends here. The menu card is so unique. The service is too good. We really enjoy our food.

I had a vegetable saute and classic noodles here. Great ambience, good service. It is beautiful and has a Chinese touch to the decor and classy cutlery. Polite staff and quick service. Also, it is listed on zomato gold. So I got one dish free.

Horrible service and bland food.This was the second time we had been to this restaurant.Not only was the service very cold and heartless, but the food was also equally boring, bland and unpalatable. It was not even seasoned properly.Please avoid this restaurant and go to Crazy Noodles on the 2nd dloor instead. They offer much better service and food.

Too too expensive for the quality + quantity. Sushi was ok couldnt compare it with the freshly made Sushi (Almost Rs.120 per piece + Exorbitant taxes). Most Thai/Chinese/Japanese restaurants give Rice complimentary with Entree but this is the first time I saw that Rice has to be ordered seperately and that too at a high price... Overall its ok to visit once for Sushi other than that nothing else special...for a repeat visit...

Please do not make any reservations for a table via easy diner, they dont have a tie up with them. Despite reserving a table for two and coming at the exact same time, I was asked to wait 20 minutes. My patience was exhausted & the way that smug receptionist had asked me to wait outside despite reserving a table was unacceptable. Half an hour later, when I was at another restaurant already starting to eat, then I get a call from these idiots. Absolutely pathetic.

Dimsum is good, but noodle and the rest are not really authentic. Ready out of pocket at least INR1500 per person. Ambience is great, decoration is great as well.

Go only if you have love for Japanese, Singaporean and Vietnamese cuisines. :)

Some items are nice, some not so nice, some average.Sushi and tenderloin was below average. Salmon had no flavour, the tenderloin was soaked in black pepper sauce.Dumplings and Rock prawn tempura was good.Rice and noodles were average.Service is good and for some items its worth coming back.The menu - A 20+ page puzzle! No idea what the hell the management was trying with their mumbo jumbo menu. Please keep it simple, patrons dont have 30 minutes to figure out how the menu is organised (your index dont help) and then again get lost to return to the page where they have short listed an item. All your 10 page irrelevant stories; pile them at the end, so those interested and bored can kill time while waiting for the food.One last suggestion on the menu: Its ok to be fancy, but use a font over 20 pages thats easy on the eye. I would have given this review a 3 star, but for the horrid menu its a 2.
