This is an amazing and worthwhile place to visit in lonawala. The number of statues are plenty. All life like. Mr Sunil, the creator of the masterpieces was around and was a pleasant person to chat. His words reflects his passion for the work. You can click pics with the statues and its a fun experience. Must visit place for a lonawala trip

It is a one time visit place,I suggest to the owner/proprietor of this place to give all the artists people a chance to make their creative arts and visualisations for your frim so we dont have to think about the cost either it is 50₹ or 100₹.Also try to make some exhibitions and competitions between artist to raise the talent art of Indian People. Do not stick only with the human statues try to get some animals art, micro art, etc. There are lots of things to make as a sculpture. Its a good place it can be excellent. Thank you!

This wax museum is different than the Celebrity wax museum. This one is near Whispering woods, inside a lane opposite to Neeta Volvo office on the old Pune-Mumbai highway. Lot of earlier reviews of this attraction has been give to Celebrity wax museum. There are very few wax statues which include Narendra Modi, Barrack Obama, Sachin Tendulkar, Lata Mangeshkar, Mahatma Gandhi, Mother Teressa, Arnold, Abraham Lincoln, Michael Jackson, Edison, Mr Beans, Anna Hazare, Harry Porter, etcOther than wax statues, there are other attractions like a little scary house, 9D studio house and mirror maze.Collectively, for all 4 attractions, the combo price is Rs. 400/-. If you buy separately, the fees are 200 for wax museum, 150 for 9D studio, 100 for scary house, 50 for mirror maze.Frankly, I liked 9D studio and scary house than wax museum. Adding few more wax statues and creating a conceptualized background will be better. Statues lying around one after the other does not give a great feeling of looking at them. This is just in comparison of other great wax museum I have seen so far.

A wax museum or waxworks usually consists of a collection of wax sculptures representing famous people from history and contemporary personalities exhibited in lifelike poses, wearing real clothes. Some wax museums have a special section dubbed the Chamber of Horrors, in which the more grisly exhibits are displayed. Some collections are more specialized, as, for example, collections of wax medical models once used for training medical professionals. Many museums or displays in historical houses that are not wax museums as such use wax figures as part of their displays. The origin of wax museums goes back to the early 18th century at least, and wax funeral effigies of royalty and some other figures exhibited by their tombs had essentially been tourist attractions well before that.Indias first wax museum opened in December 2005 in Kanyakumari. Now located to Lonavala it contains 100 wax statues of celebrities at Lonavala Square Mall. The biggest in India wax museum named Mothers Wax Museum was opened in November 2014 in New Town, Kolkata. Another branch opened in July 2008 at the historical site of Old Goa with a collection of religious statues.A wax museum on musicians and musical instruments named Melody World opened at Mysore in October 2010.A wax museum opened at Jaipur, Rajasthan in 18 December 2016.Madame Tussauds opened its first museum in India at New Delhi in 2017.
