Very nice and quite place for morning walk and exercise. Smarty organised for walking for people as per there requirements. View from top looks beautiful. Open gym has few equipment and can be used for daily workout.

A great park for walking. People come here to watch sunrise and to spend some leisure time. Around 5000 different trees have been planted here along with various artificial ponds to support birds.

It is a nice hill, ideal for morning walk or evening stroll. Lot of tree plantation done and trees are growing on their own now. After 3-4 years, the trees will be great. You get a very good view of Mutha river, Nanded City and Warje area. There are benches and small huts constructed, to sit and relax, people also do yoga and meditation there.Opening time is 6 to 9 AM and 4 to 6 PM. So far, its quiet, no much crowd.Note - there is slum area on East Side of the hill. Use approach road from Ganpati matha. 4W, 2W can be parked on the road.

Nice place for morning and evening walk and jog. This is reserved forest area developed and maintained by forest department with trees planted all over the hill. Some nice views of the city and surrounding places. There are some paved and unpaved roads for joggers. Multiple places for people to rest along the way. Plenty of space for kids to play as well.

A open hill with lot of newly young trees... Good for a morning or evening walk... Strictly avoid in rains...as there is no walking track and its muddy all way. Beautiful view and winds..sunsets...:)

This manmade forest has been developed right in the citys Warje area hillock by forest ministry and Pune municipal corporationIt has about 5000 trees like people,banyan, Neem, bamboo planted and maintained.Its been used by citizens for walking & jogging.Hats off to the efforts by the government agencies for maintaining it.

SmritiVan is located in Ram Nagar area in Warje Malwadi. Its evening time playing area for kids and families..

Very calm area, low house buy n rental prices

I had been to the Smriti Van today which is an urban forest being managed by Terre Policy Centre, a NGO and Tata Motors as a CSR. The dedicated staff maintains the forest well. The Van also provides an opportunity to people to adopt trees for a contribution of ₹ 2500/- per tree. A plate in honour of the person to whom it is dedicated is also placed near the tree. A little far away for me but I would have loved to take walks here. A great place, hope the forest is permitted to continue and flourish
