Baner Hills situated between Baner and Pashan. If you climb the hill from Baner gaon you will first see Baneshwar Cave Temple which is build around 2500 year ago by Rastrakuta kings. If you go further up towards hill you will find one more temple of gadess Tukai Devi.Bane Hills are also known as Baner-Pashan Biodiversity Park. Variety of plants are present here thanks to verius plantation drives carried out by local volunteers.Nice place to go for traking and spend you day with nature.

My favourite weekend destination 😍One cannot believe that such a beautiful location is still available in the vicinity of Pune City!!!Located behind the pan card club it’s an excellent landmark for your regular amateur hiking and occasional weekend walk. View up there is excellent where you see the entire city from hill top. Must visit in monsoons with green all around. Also, there is a temple on the way, which is an add on visit.🚩Baner Hill is a hill that separates two suburbs of Pune, Pashan and Baner. The hill is the third highest point within the city limits, with an elevation of 2224 ft., surpassed by the Vetal Hill. There is a temple located in the northern foot of the hill. The place is an excellent getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city and provides a great morning trek location for the weekends. One can view the whole of baner on one side and the pashan area from the other. The place is actually the home for a plantation drive that has been taken up enthusiastically by the locals, helped by numerous volunteers. One can see people coming up early in the morning every Sunday and working in groups to make the place greener.😍

A very nice walk for you and your pet (if any), this is usually my default place to go for a quick and easy trek whenever I fell like it. I always go to the pan card club, park my car there and climb up from the side of the hill where there is a loose uphill trail. Mind you this one is a bit tough and does not qualify as walking, if thats not your piece of cake there is a place where you can simply walk along the uphill path from Pashan side. The views are fantastic, lately there are a couple of places where youll find trash collected and cordoned off which is unpleasant but nothing terrible and youll just have to ignore it as you walk past it.My dog absolutely loves this place and gets her exercise from here.

We started from Baner gaothan and ended at the other end of Pashan. It took about 90 mins to complete this small trek. The view of the concrete jungles from the top is mesmerizing. Early morning can be the best time to visit. Also it is crowded at weekends and evenings. Good place for photography especially in monsoons. There is also a small open gym at the top at the Baner side. At Pashan side, there are small tree plantations at the top. The bloomed flowers turn out to be a visual treat.

Baner hill- great for walk, great for tree plantation and watering, very good temple to visit, there is a place for exercising, multiple entry and exit points. Beautiful sunset view. Ive seen a snake twice (at odd timing). Yet its not risky to go with kids. If going with kids then best side to go from is the lokseva school on Sus road or from Baner gaon. Other entry point is from Baner road (lane opp Bata showroom in Baner road).. Longest walk would be to walk from the temple to end of hill on sus road side.

Nearest hill with pictureque view for folks at Baner, Wakad, Aundh. Come across caves with Baneshwar calmly sitting there, moving forward through zigzag stairs with benches aside to rest, a white glowing Tukaimata temple which gives peace to your soul. Move forward on a short and bit adventurous trek of Baner hill. Surrounded by Pashan, Sus, Baner, the hill gives you eye soothing experience.Bonus: Start your journey around 1700 hours for view of sunset and dim traffic lights.

The green lung of Baner... We all Baner-Pashan residents have a responsibility to preserve this hill and its greenery. Fantastic place for a morning or evening hike. Kids, elders and canines just love it here! Also see the fantastic reforestation effort taken up by Vasundhara Abhiyaan team which has ensured the flora and fauna to return to this place. In the rainy season the place transforms into a green carpet and offers simply breathtaking views.

Small trek but will take you away from the fuss of the city. One of the best view point to watch the sun setting in the hills along with the city view. One can see the whole Baner area, new upcoming high rise buildings. And in the end you can visit a temple. There are many ways to start and end the trek. Ill suggest to start and end from two different to get the most out of this place.

A great place to walk early morning or in the evening. There are multiple ingress and exit points. The local volunteers have done a commendable job in maintaining the green cover. There are few exercise bars at two ends of the trail. Kids have made mountain biking track too on the side of the mountain where there is green cover.

Amazing place. Its highly inspiring to see how the GREEN WARRIORS of Vasundhara Abhiyan have transformed this barren hill into a rich, green paradise with more than 20,000 local tree plantations and 21water tanks constructed to harvest rain and ground water. Kudos! So if you are a nature lover, a visit here is a MUST🙂

Amazing walk. The climb is pretty small. The main entrance (staircase) passes through crowded Baner village. One can also avoid it by climbing from trail passing adjacent to Panacard Club.Once on top, please do water the plants from the Water Tanks constructed atop the hill.A good & salubrious walk.Keep watering the plants. Lets hope this beautiful hill turns into a green zone!
