I had a wonderful experience at Teakwood with my friends! The rooms were clean & very comfortable.It has breathtaking views and is located amidst a beautiful forest.The staff is really helpful. They went over and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.Theres a heavenly waterfall nearby.Teakwood is surely the best place for a weekend getaway near Pune.

Absolutely amazing experience. I went with some friends a few months ago and it was great. The weather there is very good and atmosphere is wonderful. The rooms are extremely clean and well maintained. There is a mountain nearby for a short trek as well. Food was amazing and the staff were extremely helpful. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to have a relaxing and peaceful holiday.

A beautiful property right in the hills(you wouldnt want to miss the trek) with a waterfall just 2 mins away.... Huge rooms which are absolutely clean... We went as a family group of 8 people including children in Sep2021....The location is Amidst teakwood hill plantation ..it is simply Awesome and very well maintained... It has a rain dance facility, game room( pools, table tennis, chess, carrom, reading section, movie section and an open section for groups, 4 huge rooms, outdoor seating for barbeque/bonfire..The huge rooms housed 6 beds suitable for big family or trekking groups etc.... Clean and well maintained..Breakfast,lunch,dinner and hi tea...Food was basically maharashtrian with slight variations to include Paneer..very tasty n most green leafy vegetables were home grown...The morning trek and visit to a baneshwar waterfall was freshing and children loved the Machhan.. The staff Sandeep and Kalpana were extremely cooperative and attentive of needs of group, family and kids..The owners were quick n prompt in booking and delivered as promised..Be it fire flies at night or bunnies in the early Morning, peacock sounds day long children felt safe and enjoyed themselves alot.Overall a great experience for an overnight stay or a day trip as well. .

Its an absolutely outstanding place. Ive been to pune twice in the past 2 years for about a week. and the only reason is teakwood itself.Its surrounded by nature. The moment i reached there i felt complete zen. Its a very peaceful place but thats not it. Teakwood had alot of adventurous things in store for us. Theres trekking, zip lining, rope crossing and if you felt like doing something indoors theres snooker, table tennis, carrom, chess all that stuff. You can trek all the up the mountain and even hike to a beautiful waterfall nearby. The owners were incredibly humble and arranged everything from A to Z. We were a group of 10 people and they had arranged more than enough food for all of us. The food tasted as good as what you get at an fine dining restaurant. At night we would sit next to the bonefire and the caretaker would prepare food on the barbecue. I had one of the best times at teakwood and am certain that you would too. I recommend everyone to go there atleast once.Ps- it wont be your last.

Very bad experience. No electricity. We were without electricity for 1 hour at 11PM. Manager switched off his mobile and slept. Owner didnt receive call. Not maintained resort. No waterfall. Outdoor activity area is not maintained. Only good part - food is good. No security. In short not good place to stay.

Recently visited this property with my friends.The property is set up in forest settings with well maintained lawn and rooms. The overall cleanliness is commendable. The highlight of the stay was the delicious food... Especially chicken dishes.The trek on hill top, star gazing at night are must. Dr. Pande ( owner ) has built the resort as his dream project with passion and all that extra attention on hospitality.. simply wonderfulSpecial thanks to Sandeep and Kalpana for taking care of our group during the stay..Will come back again…

Not a place for family, no security , no maintainence of the facility. Staff strength is just 1, same person is responsible for cooking , security, cleaning and same person is maintaining the whole resort. In the night , lights went off and we tried to reach him, he told to help and just switched off the cell. We called owner but he didnt bothered to pick up the phone.I agree food was good and cleanliness was there in theresort.

I could get what I longed for within a short distance of 35 km from my home in Pune.Rooms, named after nearby forts, are well maintained, clean and spacious. Big family or group can easily enjoy in the room.If dont want to stay in rooms, you can plan to rent out tents and stay in open.Campfire and barbeque in night can be added fun.For large groups, there are indoor and outdoor activities to enjoy. Pool, Table tennis, Dart games in indoor. Football, cricket, zipline in outdoor activities can be enjoyed.There is a beautiful trek route through teakwood forest. You can go for short trek to the top or take a long trek crossing multiple mountains. In monsoon we can even enjoy hidden waterfall, with no crowd.There is beautiful space with different variety of trees, including fruits and vegetables. Variety of birds can be seen while at teakwood.Food is delicious. Both veg and nonveg food is cooked and served with love.I have visited Teakwood multiple times and enjoyed something new everytime.It is a must visit place with your friends and family, old and young, if you enjoy being close to nature.

It was a great stay! The food was excellent and the staff superb!  Beautiful property surroundedby teak trees. Rooms are plush.kids indoor and outdoor playing zone is just amazing. Comforting surroundings and brilliant view. Spacious rooms . Prompt room service!!

Worst experience. Its not a resort at all. All the description they mentioned about the facilities are fake. Garden is not maintained. Sewage water is floating openly in garden area. No waterfall, its a small water flow. No generator/inverter backup. If electricity goes down, you are on your own. If you call manager/Owner they will switch off mobiles. Owner will not pick your calls as he doesnt want to spend money on generator.In case of any immergency, no help provided by the staff. Even if you knock managers door, he wont open it. There is no security guard. Not a good place for family at all.

Good place. Like the cottage and washroom is super clean. Good setup for recreational games. Food is descent but suggest not to go for BBQ. They gave us boiled big size non marinated chicken to grill. It became more like fried after grilling. Never heard about this BBQ recipe

Horrible experience, worst place to visit, At night No one available at resort, No power back at night, Garden & Activities is in worst condition, Only one staff for whole resort, No proper inner Road, Parking space fill with full of unwanted grass, Sewage water floating on ground so smell is there, Gang of Mosquitoes in rooms, No basic things provided like Towel, Soap at room, not safe at night, security not available. Suggest to avoid for family or bachaler....

Teakwood Forest Resort is the place one can think of if you need a quick unwind with friends and family amidst Natural surrounding. It has perfect set up for a One day trip. Has lots of engaging activities for kids/families outdoor n indoor games, trekking, tent stay, charm of campfire. Food and hospitality is awesome! Being modestly close to nature makes this place very refreshing and so is the experience here!

Our group went for 31st December 2017 party with our families. Very few people know about this Campsite so writing this review. The overall setup of campsite is phenomenal with 10 acres of dense forest and tent/ cottages located right next to forest area. Lots of activities including Barbecue, Indoor Gaming Hall, Outdoor games, ATV Ride, Campfire etc. The best part of the stay is the food. We enjoyed the BBQ as well as dinner. It was delicious and something special about the way APPA cooks... Will definitely go back with office group. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

One of the finest resorts ever visited.

The location is stunning, and the feeling you get of being surrounded by the picturesque nature is like nothing else. The food is wonderful and the cottages are also very well maintained and spacious. Playing snooker and table tennis with friends is also a very enjoyable experience. The trek up the mountain is also a lot of fun and the view at the top is absolutely amazing and completely worth it.

Kitty Party.... Recommended!!! Our womens group had a great experience with Teakwood. Its safe and relaxing. Even in May heat, the place is much cooler in the evening. Had fun playing tug-of-war, enjoyed barbecue and indoor games. The farm fresh mango, papaya were served every time we asked for. Night was beautiful with clear sky, cool breeze and private campfire... We loved nature, outdoors, fresh air and this place is much undiscovered. I am going to bring my office team soon.

Was a day trip on a outdoor corporate training.An exceptional place for nature lovers accompanied with adventurous activities on a sprawling 10+ acre property on a hill slope. Has all the beauty of a hill station. Best to visit in monsoons away from the maddening crowd of Lonavala or Mahabaleshwar. Well equipped and well maintained spacious cottages, ideal for groups on a day trip or weekend stay too.

I wont suggest this place because of the teakwood management. Recently we went there and found the prices are really high as compared to the facilities they provide. They take money while checking in also you have to give them advance money for everything like if you want to play game then 1k advance, to drink your own liquor you have to 3k advanced and now when you are checking out they said they will provide advanced money back online afterwards.. its our policy and all.... now its been 15 says i am tired of calling them and not returning back our money. Theyll very good to you when u visit them but when comes to money they are fraud.

Amazing place where you feel connect to your soul. Its a simple resort where you can do a good trek, enjoy rain dance, have quad bike and can sleep under the sky. The homely food is amazing which will take you straight to your hometown. They have many indoor games too like TT, carrom, snooker etc. Also total 4 rooms are available which are really very big and can easily accommodate more than 4-5 people. Amidst busy schedule of daily life, if you want a quick break then this place is for you. Also dont forget to meet the little rabbits they have when you visit Teakwood :)

Whenever I get a chance for a quick retreat with friends, amidst beautiful country side, its Teakwood.

Feeling cheated. Writing this review from the place itself. Poorest of the service, the food is very ordinary. The BBQ food was completely burnt. Rude staff. Toilets are spacious. The property is not well maintained. Staff is also of only 2 persons. They dont care once you pay the entire money in advance. The owners Hema and Vivek were pretty non-negotiating while doing the booking so we expected extremely professional service. When we tried reaching them, neither they pickup the call nor did call back. No security. Definitely not worth the price Rs 1800 per person per day.

The resort location is good.. Easily accessible from PUNE but the did is totally pathetic and the place not too clean... The bedrooms are dorm style with linen not changed from previous clients.... Only good thing was the barbacue.... In the garden

Very poor. #Not recommended. Barbecue was waste of money . FOOD very ordinary. No maintenance property. Tents quality is below average. No security. The dining area n living area are at different levels so have to go down again n again for tea n breakfast n dinner .Cottages are good wid clean washrooms.No extra wood arrangements for camp fire. Music we have to bring our own pendrive or mobile collection.Overall pathetic arrangement n not worth for 1800 /- (adult) n 12 (kids).Waste of money trip

Justifies the name of the place. People who live and around Nagpur and miss the saag forest might become nostalgic. like I did !!!!!2. The large open area on the top is amazing and on the right day (Right day definition being, cloudy, sparsely raining) It can provide you amazing place to have picnic of your life.3. Food was simple, but the baigan subzi was the best I ever ate. Do ask for baigan sabzi if you have option. Why simple food is highlight, well duh it was good :)4. Spacious and clean rooms.What to expect:1. An adventure day, raw and untouched.2. Hike through Teak woods to the hill top and back.3. Large flat area on hill top for picnic, activities and games.This was my first trekking trip with my son. Before the trip he was so nervous and so scared. But now he wants to become an avid climber.I would highly recommend this place for families and group looking for small hikes, beginner hikes. This is a perfect start.Caution:1. Wear long pants and long sleeve shirts in all season to avoid mosquitoes.2. People who are looking for man made heaven, this might not be the place as this is god made heaven..... quote by my son.

A quiet getaway for all those who want to have a break from the humdrum of urban chaos and the drudgery of routine life. Managed by an adventurist and marathon trainer Mr Pandey, the place gives a sense of calm with the touch of farm life. Situated at an hour and half distance from anywhere in Pune, the place is very easily accessible without much of hassle. Safe to book in advance to avoid last minute disappointments and to give a chance to the staff to prepare the camp. There is a choice of 5 cottages which are basically dormitaries (6-8 beds) with attached bathrooms. There is a central common room which double up as a party hall while on other times houses a pool table, kids corner, a table tennis table and a carrom corner. The management also has a choice of tentage accommodation for the more adventurous. For meals they have a cosy dining hall which also give the feel of camp life. The best part probably is the wonderful barbecue which has to be ordered in advance. Besides the regular electric supply the place has generator back-up for emergencies. One would recommend to carry your own supply for the worshippers of bacchus and a karaoke/ sound system/ musical instruments for the lovers of music. A trek to the nearby hilltop followed by a wonderful and wholesome breakfast is also on offer. The management also has tie-up with other camps which offer adventure activities like confidence building climbs, traverse crossing, burma bridge etc. Overall, a worth the money experience for anyone who wants to give it a try.
