Anytime you visit here you will feel the positive vibes, sportsman with every age group are always practicing and this is the best thing I like in this place. Its a green and neat place. So if you want to take a morning and evening walk I nature, this is a good option you can think of. There is a stadium also inside this sports complex and it can accommodate a good number of viewers.Overall, its a nice place and it is near to the main road/highway. Parking facility is also available here. One of the gate is closed but you can definently enter the complex via 2nd main gate.

An excellent facility for sports. Worth a visit. I live nearby. So, I go there often for morning or evening walk. The sports facilities are world-class. My favourite is the Cycling Velodrome. Its length is 333.33 m. Three rounds for a kilometre. Unfortunately the Cycling Velodrome is not maintained properly. In fact, its highly neglected. Just like the so-called cycling tracks in any Indian city. One of the reasons is not many cyclists use it. More the number of users, better is the maintenance.

Beautiful swimming pools here. Badminton courts are also big and spacious. Training are also available for all the sport activities. Cleanliness is maintained properly by the staff. The Administration staff is also helpful. But for kids and teenagers, parents have to accompany them, to take care of kids.

Badminton, Boxing, wrestling, TT, weight lifting, shooting, swimming, athletics and many more.I was the consultant for acoustics for this project.Proper maintenance is an issue like many government facilities.

Huge Sports Complex. But very sorry to say about indoor gym. Gym equipments are well known international brand, but due to poor maintenance, they are in pathetic conditions. Need Political will for revamp everything as per international standard. But ???????

This is a great medium size sports complex. Recently, khelo India youth games were organized here. Ample parking. Hotel Orchid and Hotel Holiday Inn are just beside this stadium. So no worries if you are here only for the event, you got the lodging just 300 meters away! Athletic track and seating around it is available with a full size football ground in middle. A multi purpose open ground is also available.

National level sports academy and ground a heaven for sports lovers. Located in balewadi locality of Pune adjacent to the famous Mumbai-Bangalore highway. You can look at the floodlights of the stadium from the road. A great place with high level sports kits and tools. Famous tournament ISL takes place here and is a treat to watch. Well maintained place and a training ground for many aspiring young sportsman pf the city.

Built is very beautifully and fun to watch national level games here. , they conducting different classes for children also like running, karate, kickboxing, badminton, etc.This Sport Complex is always open for players. There conducted Asian games too...They have huge halls separately for each activity. Fees are also reasonable. Well managed & very gud infrastructure with spacious parking. We r there for watching Odisha Fc Vs Hyderabad Fc football match....I gave this 4 star only for stadium.....security was too good ...good enough parking space....in stadium was all good ,seating chairs and food is also very good ...but the TOILETS ARE VERY DIRTY ..THERE IS NO WATER INSIDE THE TOILETS ....WORST AND THIRD CLASS TOILETS I HAVE EVER SEEN IN THAT FOOTBALL STADIUM.... otherwise all good

Has place for wide range of sports. Went there for tennis tournament, all the 7 tennis courts are well maintained, provided food and energy drinks during matches. Just had a peek inside gymnastics area, seems to have a lot of practice equipment and the area for it is also huge. The football area seemed a bit small.

Was attending the 4th season of PBL in Pune. Balewadi is a great place to be for such events mainly because of the infrastructure and facilities the stadium provides which is well maintained. There was great atmosphere and thoroughly enjoyed the matches.

Awesome place for the experience called sports. We spent our entire day watching boxing, gymnastics, batminton and athletics for the khelo india initiative. The place is well organized but the events were not shown properly. Also food for visitors was pathetic. Ill managed and tasteless.The sports area is well maintained.Its worth every moment spent there.

Punes one and the old Balewadi Stadium. Famous for International Commonwealth Games. Best place to watch live games. Needs improvement in seating area. Some of the seats are not cleaned and maintained.

The stadium is neat and clean and having lot of space for parking 2 wheeler and cars. You can find your place eaisly. Only you have reach atleast 30 min before any match starts.

While turfs and seating is good, the surrounding areas are horrible and not well maintained. Even with events like ISL and Pro kabaddi league coming in, basic amenities are not maintained. Parking is too far from the place where events are held. Look to reach couple of hours in advance so as to not miss the event of choice. Lot of scope for improvement for having people come back here for events. Beware of some locals who try to sell tickets in black. Better book through ticketing portals.

Great place. It is sports complex built for commonwealth games. There are many sports playgrounds. Location is outside of the Pune. Many sports events happen like ISL (HERO INDIAN SUPER LEAGUE). I recently went there for Robocon-2018. I had a great experience there. You can enjoy morning walk here, some nice views at evening.

Amazing place for sportsmen and sports fans. We visited the place for the Pune leg of the ATP tournament. The courts are well maintained. The stands are clean too. Food court had a variety of food outlets from Chinese to Italian to Indian. There were some activity outlets too. Overall a nice place to spend an evening watching your favorite sportsmen.

Its Maharashtras biggest and main Krida Prabodhini. Recently 2nd Khelo India Youth Games were held here. Its huge sports complex with courts, stadiums for each and every game with all aminities.

Located on the Mumbai-Bangalore Bye-pass Highway, this stadium called Balewadi Sports Stadium. It hosts many national and international sports event attended by many atheletes.It was built to Host the National Games by when Mr. Suresh Kalmadi was the Chairman of the Indian Olympic Committee and a MP representing Pune.Major development took place due to the hosting of National Games in Pune. However, building a complex is different than maintaining it. The authorities have not kept it in good shape.Toilets have no water, stinking smell. Kids, elderly, ladies cant use them. Parking area has rubble, sand and stones. There is no one to manage the parking area.We did not see any restaurant, eatery or simple tea stall. A lot can be done to make the place usable and revenue generation and above all promotion of sports among the youth.

Superb place to the sport...Nice atmosphere

It’s a huge stadium with a variety of sports options. The National level Robotics competition, ABU Robocon, is held here, every year in the badminton stadium. The stadium is well air conditioned and is a beautiful place. However, the badminton stadium is rather far from the main entrance and requires a long walk. Since the stadium is so huge, getting anywhere requires a long walk.

Awesome place for sports lover. I attended PBL season 4 match here. Badminton stadium is pretty big and covered. AC is kept at very low as players get sweating while playing so it is recommended to bring your jackets. There are no or very limited food option just 1 stall which sells samosa and coffee sometimes Maggie so bring your own food as they did not checked ours. Toilets are pathetic worst like public toilets. But if you are die hard fan of your sport super hero then you will ignore all this bad points and just going to love the super game. Highly recommended to visit. Outside area is very neat and well managed.

I was watching this place from last so many years while passing nearby. But During this week I visited here for Hero ISL Football match and I loved this place.1. Its so spacious and well maintained.2. It almost includes playgrounds for all the games.3. Pathway and Greenery is pleasant.4. The structure and overall layout of this place is appreciable.Only the suggestion is the open area where parking lot is allocated, that place should be well arranged and with sufficient lights.

Balewadi stadium - easily accessible, lot of parking space for two and four wheeler, not well maintained, seats were very dirty, water pours from roof during rains. One has to ignore this and enjoy the events.

Easy to notice from the highway, many different marathons are conducted here regularly. They have good infrastructure for sports such as wrestling, tennis, hockey, athletics, boxing. The signs however are missing and people tend to get lost inside the complex. They should maintain the infrastructure properly. If you are coming here for a marathon make sure you reach in time and car pool as there is limited parking.

This is well developed sports complex where multiple sporting disciplines can be played at one particular instance. Created during the Commonwealth Youth Games in 2008, this place now serves for club-based sports, especially Badminton, Tennis, Kabbadi and Hockey to name a few. Up there, trying to march up with the best.

Was there for the Pune FC vs Chennayin FC match this season of ISL. The ticket even though purchased online has to be collected physically from the ticket counter at the stadium, they do not sell it anywhere near the city. Once you go there they keep saying that they are not ready to give the ticket yet and only on the day of the match they gave the tickets. People like us who purchase VIP tickets had to go to gate 3 park the car there and walk about 2 km to reach the venue. They do not let you carry water bottles inside and they dont have people selling water inside either. At the last 20 min of the match one person came carrying water cups which were to be paid and purchased. All arrangements for the VIP box was not good, it was a horrendous experience.

Had an absolutely amazing time watching a football match. This was my first time watching a football game in any stadium and despite of ended up being a loosing side, we enjoyed a lot. An additional screen would be very helpful for people sitting directly below it. The speaker placement through the stadium needs to re-arrange for a better quality output. Overall it was a great experience for me.

Small capacity ground. Only away team crowd in majority. Rest all are so called orange army. Ticket price is low in all ISL matches. Restroom are available in all stand. Besides orange army some people come to the stadium just to defame away team and their fans. Rest all is good.

I saw my first live match here. Home ground of first every football club (FCPC) that I started following. Balewadi stadium is very close to my heart I will say. Its fun when the stadium gets packed for the matches. Wish it was much bigger than to accommodate 30-40k people, but thats okay. Its easily accessible from Pune- Mumbai road.
