Recently visited this place for a engagement party. They have perfect banquet set up on different floors. Talking about the food, it was amazing. Overall nice place to keep party for a decent all capacity crowd.

Its very auspicious restaurant. Food is little late to serve but i like the taste and place for family and Official meeting.

It was my first stay at hotel kalasagar..Overall experience was great.. Hotel staff was very polite, courteous, prompt in service and helpful.. Rooms were very spacious,neat, tidy, clean and hygienic.. Food was very delicious and had variety of stuff.. I would strongly recommend this hotel to everybody who is planning a trip to pune in order to have a wonderful experience and value for money the way I had.

Had visited recently for a Wedding Reception, due to Covid protocol, the place was maintained well but though starters were tasty, the food was average compared to costing.. Overall good option for mid size functions..

I had very bad experience with decoration team which is mandatory from hotel itself. It completely ruin my event because of very poor coordination between staff. While deciding decoration they were pretending very professional approach but in reality it it not a case. Just avoid to finalize with hotel decoration team as they demand full payment in advanced and not even received call if something goes wrong.

Hotel Kala Sagar is located on mumbai pune highway.The hotel is few hundred metres inside from service road.The hotel has around 75-80 rooms in total,also has a hall for public gathering and celebration purpose.The hotel is Well maintained and decent.It is around 40 mins away from pune airport (viman nagar) and 25-30 mins from pune railway station.

Horrible.based on reference we had visited the restaurant in a Valentines day with a group of 25 person but the service were far from satisfactory. To be specific, the starters which were supposed to be unlimited, were not served adequately. Very poor show & children were totally unhappy. The prices were not commensurate with the assured commitment

Nice... Enjoyed with tasty and good quality food.We tried many time and found food was great, freshly cooked very tasty and well presented. The waiters were attentive and service overall was good. The restaurant looked to have been recently decorated and maintained neat and clean and clean. Overall a good meal and great value we will certainly be going back.I will recommend to have team dinner in KalaSagar.

This Hotel was once the Landmark to Pimpri Area.For many who Has been in and around Pune and PCMC who often travel by old highway it still is.Its probably one of the first Star Grade hotel in PCMC.The Amenities inside are still well maintained unlike other Hotels of its time.It has Restaurant, Rooms,Party/Banquet Hall, Swimming pool.

The interiors of the hotel are top notch. They have recently upgraded the interiors. But the staff is not so well trained. Firstly the gatekeeper didnt even bother to open the gate as I was on a bike. I had to personally open the gate, while he was sitting and watching. Similar kind of thing continued with the waiter. He just kept the food in front of us, didnt serve. Too rude. Food is fine but the behaviour of staff needs improvement. Wanted to give zero star.

A regular visit for occassions like promotion, birthday , but as of now i am surprised with worst food quality and that too at a premium pricing.Had ordered veg kofta , the waiter was kind enough to remake the dish 3 times to arrive at a decent taste , originally made with high salt content , may be the food was prepared near to sea.The dish was recooked and recooked as the gravy became thinner and kofts surprisingly vanishing in every remake.Overall worst food at premium prices. Happy weekend.

Great rooms and exquisite furnitures. The reception and the sitting area itself is appealing with different statues, great looking curtains and couches. Room service is also really good. Rooms are spacious and the amenities provided is up to the par. There is a provision to book conference halls for different purposes especially for professional gatherings. Price is relatively on the higher end because of the stature of the hotel. It might not be easy on wallet for a normal middle class family gathering but it would totally be worth it if u spare some extra bucks. There are different avenues in the hotel itself which i myself couldnt have the time to go through but you can surely take yourself around. There is obviously good provision of car parking and on call food service. Despite, the fact it is away from the main market in Pune it wont displease you in most forms. IELTS exam too are held here sometimes if not mostly which is veryuch telling about the kind of spaces they can offer. Give it a try. You might love it more.

Very good restuarant with good decor. Food is also good. Only problem is very slow service.. For a group of 5 people, they took so long to serve food on a working day lunch on 29th November. We had to cancel fruit salad finally as they took do long to get it.

Had been there for my brothers baby shower.. The place was cozy and big enough for our family.. The decoration done was good with baloons and neatly arranged tables. Welcome drinks and starters were served by the stewards and the function went on good. The lunch was delicious, especially gulab jamun. The only issue was parking, we had to park outside the premises since their parking was full. Just for this, i gave 4/5 stars. Overall awesome place for family functions.

Worst experience: My stay in this hotel was not a good experience, owing to the unfriendly behavior of the reception staff and manager. Simply looking to make money only. I booked for two days, and informed the hotel that will checkout 12hrs early, due to the schedule of flight. I requested them for 5hr early check-in, but they denied and request me to pay full amount, if so. So I somehow arranged in the morning in another hotel for 4 hrs and by 12pm when I reached there, my room was not ready too. Worst experience. The looks and amenties of the hotel was good.

One of the best ambience... Cool environment.... Middle in the City so everything is nearby service is fantastic also the staff is quite friendly...... The food taste must improve but the quality of food is great. I think the buffet system food is not a bit tasty but the food inside the restaurants is good and delicious they should improve the food taste in the buffet as it is booked mostly for buffets

Restaurant is good with average food quality but its expensive as compared to other hotels. Service is good. If you are fasting then they also serve some dishes for fast. Ambience is too good.

Well maintained property, delux room had tea and coffee maker, basic toiletries, clean towels, decent food. The gym is a proper running commercial gym with complimentary access to guests and hence is one of the best equipped gym I have come across in similar hotels. Courteous staff

We arranged a cocktail dinner party for our company employees in this hotel this April (2019) .We regretted our decision once the party started !*AC in the hall was not working !*The Plastic Tables/ Chairs were not even covered or even clean !*They rotated starters without Fork or even a pick ! Upon insisting ,they provided very basic paper plates.* And imagine you trying to eat a Paneer chilli or Chicken kebab with a small plastic spoon which are normally provided with Icecreams !!* Soft drinks were served in paper cup ( For a corporate event!!!!! )* Wafers and sides for drinks were kept on bar counter and one hasto go there and have them if they want !* If you ask for any item it would take atleast 45 min and severalreminders to get it .Upon asking with the manager , he bluntly said this is the way they arrange and there is nothing wrong in it !Main course is totally different story ! They did not even care to serve it hot ! May be they thought after cocktail party people will not care for dinner !Even after charging heavily , Whole arrangement by the hotel was pathetic and surprisingly , they did not even bother to apologize for these inconvenience .I attended another function at the very hotel after 2 months and I did not find any change in their style which is really sad .The hotel is totally a NO NO !!!!The star is for the security person who promptly guided us for parking !!!

First, this is not a budget hotel as labelled here. It is a huge hotel with great food and beautiful rooms.If youre going for the food, you wouldnt find a dish that you would be complaining about.If youre going for the room, the rooms are neat, comfortable and everything works. You dont need to call house keeping as compared to most hotels.If youre in search for a banquet or a terrace for maybe a wedding or any other occasion, Kalasagar has the best to offer in PCMC.This hotel is fine example of everything done right.

We were here to attend a wedding. The hall seems really well Maintained. Its good for small weddings. The food hall is average size. There are close and open spaces both for wedding events. Since it was Summer season, having events in AC hall is a good option. Loved the decoration and interiors of the hotel.

Poor hospitality and non cooperative. My father left forgot his bag in the room, and although within 12 hours, he informed the management (Mrs. Swati) about his lost bag. But they denied to even let me check the CCTV cammera footage. Not sure if they were doing it on purpose.

This is very nice place for big functions like Marriage ceremony, Thread ceremony, Engegment etc. There is one main hall of capacity approximately 300 to 400 chairs.The hall is fully air conditioned. Attached to it is buffet hall and next to is big terrace. Which can be used by the people to have their food.If 500 or more guests are expected than lawn option is also available.They also help for arranging decoration, photography, video shooting etc.The rates are very reasonable and food is very delicious.

Very much pleased by the service and hotel staffs. Would definitely like to book this place again. Food was really good. The only problem I faced was while checking out because the card machine wasn’t working. Next time kindly make sure to provide with an alternate.

Wrong location.. its should have been near Kasarwadi or Vallabh Nagar but showing somewhere els. The reception / operator staff not courteous at all.. they disconnected phone twice did not guide ..Hotel might be good but what makes it good its staff.. Very much disappointed..

I had one program here and due to some issue it got cancelled had a very bad experience since then they didnt refunded the payment for more than a year their business principle and way of treating people is very unprofessional please be aware

The deluxe rooms are decently sized with a sitting area with leather 4 seater arrangement with a centre table. Neat and clean well maintained, however there is a parking crunch, but they manage to get your vehicle parked.Breakfast spread is just average which is not a great spread as per the room standards. Room service is quick though. Food is just ok. Location good, although it’s on the old Mum-Pune Road in Pimpri the plantation and garden before the Hotel approach makes the room pretty quiet n silent.

I have recently hosted a function at KalaSagar comprising around 80 guests. My experience has been mixed. On the positive side, the food was sumptuous and each of my guest appreciated the same. The venue & facility is quite good & spacious and the coordination leading upto the function was good and professional. Coming to the negative aspects, I found the chairs dirty(while cloth was not properly cleaned). I had to explicitly follow up with the staff to get more tables (they didnt put enough tables), to arrange for logistics (music,projector). With all due respect to the hotel authorities who were present at the time of booking, I expected them to show up on time and make sure everything is in place. I had to personally visit the venue and chase people to get things complete. I got the feeling that the commitment levels dropped once the payment was done( as per rules, you need to pay 100% 3 days prior to function). One more thing which I found unprofessional for a hotel of this size is that they allow only one individual to work for the venue decoration. That individual runs the show for all functions and hence there is no option to choose as a customer. To summarize, I would give it a 3 star for the food & the fact that they got most of the things right and hence I was able to host the function successfully. Good work but you can improve further.

Big open area , parking area enough to arrange any party or reception or official seminar. Food packages are very affordable. Sound and projector also available. Specially evening time meal can help you out to kick out stress. Its on prime location. Near to dy patil college and medical trust, yashwantrao chavan hospital, vallabhnagar bus stop, nashik phata and mainly its pin point for bhosari industrial area. I will recommend to test food and all services . Definitely you will get satisfied with kalasagar team and amenities.

Hotel is slightly outside the city near highway. ..... Charges like a 4 star but facilities are mostly for locals who are members of the gym. Took us 30 mins to find the pool. Which is a hole in the ground with 3 ft water. Full gym mostly for members. Too crowded. Rooms are decent sized not large or airy. Bathroom is decent sized and clean with shower area. Toiletries and slippers( on request) provided. coffee n tea maker provided. room fridge provided on request. Food is expensive but tasteful. Booked with Breakfast, spread was large and tasty. Has large garden and grounds mostly used for weddings and banquets. Overall hotel low on value for money okay for 1 night business stay.

Hotel is very good.Ambience & vicinity excellent.So densely covered with huge plants & trees, that one can not take a clear picture of the building.Almost 90% of land area is devoted to greenery.We get feeling of staying in a resort. That makes it excellent place to stay.

Been here for a business meeting. It has good restaurant. The ambience is like the old school with marbles all over the place. But it doesnt look out of place. Treat for you. Feel of the past days.Rooms are average but the high cost one are good. Situated in proper Pune. Near by the highway. But will need transport mean if you come by public transport as it is bit away from those spots.

Tru value for money...I have often stayed at Hotel Kalasagar with my family. I luv d ambience & d food. The staff is quite courteous.We had an awesome time & I wud certainly recommend dis hotel to fellow travellers. The only problem I faced was wid d wifi . Rest was perfect .

Tasty food, nice ambience. The staff are really dumb. No one came to take order for 15 to 20 mins. Then we asked for the water, they gave the bottle. We had to ask for glasses again. Total dumb staff. We called them again and ordering extra rotis and he was asking dal rice nahi chahiye kya. We were furious.

Good to reach and easy to access type of parking for this hotel. Just on the Mumbai puna old Highway .new rto is also at the back of hotel. Also opp.hotel there is a kasarwadi railway station which is very easy to reach also by walk. Connectivity is also good. Many rooms available. good out look.

Food is good. They serve lot of varieties in buffet. My daughter is specially found of the desert counter. I had organized fee family dinners there and all my guest were happy with the food and the service provided
