Very peaceful place. Its showing Shivaji maharajs history. You also get to know about Indias history. A must visit for all lovers of nature and history. Really loved the description of our vedic purans.

A must visit if you are on a short trip to the region..Amazingly captures the history of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.There are a ton of exhibitions to watch and read carefully covering a range of Indian history..It is maintained well given there isnt and entry fee.Should be developed into a great place for school kids to visit.

Excellent place to visit. I feel schools must arrange visits so that all students will learn history very well. Detailed exhibition nice paintings. Ample car parking (not inside) but on road available. You must carry Tiffins, no food available at the site.

Take out some time and pay a visit.You will not be disappointed.Note: Do not expect an entertaining time. Surely an enlightening one!

This is fantastic must visit place when you are in Pune. Since it is recently constructed with very low budget it is not like other museums but it is having all the quality of a museum, you may feel like it is not worth from the entrance unless you explore by going inside. Gives enough knowledge on Bharat and India. I request everyone to visit this place.This place deserves our visit

Its not exactly a museum. More of a picture gallery describing the events in and around India from a very old age. But its very nice. Dont be mislead by the small entrance gate, its huge inside. Both area wise as well as content wise. Have plenty of time in hand if you plan to see it in detail. There are places inside where you can sit and enjoy food if you carry it. I am not sure about the availability of drinking water though. Please dont litter. I hate I have to emphasize this...The staff is nice, and there are many nice spots for selfies and photography.

This Museum is having miniature paintings depicting all the maratha history from 1630 AD to 1800 AD. Nice place clean and calm environment.

Historical place.This museum is nice with much history of Maharashtra and Marathas. They have preserved many old monuments nicely and very helpful for future generations to learn the history. It is still another museum not much appealing. If you really are the one who likes to visit all museums then it is worth a visit otherwise you can skip it.

This museum has lots of historical recreational pictures, nothing else. Location is best but you will be disappointed to see only pictures that too drawn by modern artists and few photographs.

Poor content, poorly displayed. No artefacts, so real proof of any of the written material. New paintings of supposed historical moments, but no provenance of why they are historically accurate. Displays are of poor quality flex not even mounted properly. Calligraphic flex boards are hard to read and calligraphh is not even historically attributed to India, so no idea why it is used. Not worth the drive

Its a great effort by one french person. He had funded whole musium and mandir. Really commendable.India has only 2 mandir of Chatrapari Shivaji Maharaj. One of them in Pune.They have many halls with pictures. Premise is very well maintained.But this thing is very less visitor.We had discussion with care taker. His concern is only about visitors.They had created different hall for diff characters. Statue of Shivaji and Tulaja Bhavani Mata is lively.Specific significance for eyes on all sides. Must go their and findout.Do viait and tell your friends too.
