I visited Sigree last weekend after almost a decade. They have a Street Food festival going on till 31st August and it was such a sumptuous experience.Sigree offers live grills on the table, vast buffet spread and during this street food festival there are a lot of street food specialities from across the country added to the menu.We started with Live Chaat Counter which had Dahi Bhalla, Pani Puri, Sev Puri and Palak Papdi Chaat.Healthy Palak Papdi chaat was easy to make – I tried my hands on making one and I can boast that it was simply delicious.Pyaaz ki Kachori reminded me of Jaipur, well stuffed, tasty and crispy.Stuffed Chillas from Rajasthan, Kanda Bhajjiya & Mumbaiyya Pav Bhaji are close to my heart.Paneer Chilli rolls from Kolkata, Gobhi 65 and Channa Shammi were few other street food speciality starters to gorge on.On the grills we had Green chutney wala paneer tikka which was just outstanding. Babri Aloo and Pineapple were other vegetarian grill varieties.I was stuffed with so many street food varieties and was about to move to the desserts section but while walking through the buffet section, aroma of 7 to 8 veg curries enticed me and I wiped up a bowl of Dal Makhani – so rich and delicious.A very good variety of desserts were on offer with Swiss rolls, ice creams, cakes and chitrakoot making their way to my belly and making me happy too.Jalebi Rabdi from live counter was also fab!!I could not try everything on the menu so have written mainly about dishes I tried!! This street food fest is till 31st August and is a must try!!!Street food is a strict no no during the monsoons due to hygiene reasonsBUThere you have hygienic street food varieties from across the country under one roof...and well this huge huge huge spread of buffet is priced at just 717 all inclusive!!
Nice place for a buffet with friends, family or team members. Good service and decent food options make this place special, good ambience just adds to the overall package. They have nice on table bbq grill option and unlimited grills makes it a heaven for foodies. Do pay a visit and experience to yourself.
The food tastes amazing, the cleanliness can be improved a lot and the ambience can definitely be worked upon.• The food taste is really very good, especially the Chicken Tandoor and Chicken Biryani.• The Veg food is great too(taste wise). Like Veg biryani was really good.• Chicken Biryani was by far the best I had till date. It had a rich aroma and taste to it. Each and every grain(literally) had that unique taste!• The staff was very polite and friendly.• The cleanliness can definitely be worked upon. The plated were very unclean. All of the plates were unclean.• The ambience can be worked upon as it was looking very dull as compared to the great taste and the good reputation it has.• The price is worth the variety and food that is provided.• There was a fly in one of the desserts - Jalebi which is very unhygienic and thus should be taken care of.• Overall a very good experience considering the food and the price.• Overall an Ok experience considering everything as above.
One of the good places near railway station. Place for family dinner or team lunch as well. Offers really good food with plenty of options for veg and non veg too. On basis of friends word, non veg was very good. Based on my experience, vegetarian was good but not outstanding in short not felt worth for money. Well deserts and sweet dishes are cherry on top of cake. It costed us nearly 5k for 10 people. The cost varies on weekends and weekdays.
Spacious, good ambience, the menu options are good starting from Barbeque starters, chaat section, live pasta counters, veg and non veg main course and dessert options. The place was almost empty except for 1 or 2 families as I had visited on Monsoon Sunday. The ambience lights could have been slightly brighter to feel more cheerful and provide better photographs. The service speed needs to improve as we have to wait and remind after we reorder starter next round or anything from live counter. There is free valet parking available. Dont fall for pay and park trap in the building unless want to do social service. Finally the pricing is reasonable considering the menu variety. Overall recommended for young and foodie lunch parties!
Although not as hyped up as BBQ nation, this place easily can go toe to toe with it. Food is great, service is swift and ambiance is actually better than BBQ in my honest opinion, albeit dessert options are less I think. Its not usually too crowded either even on weekends. And from what my friends said, its cheaper too.
Date: 04/04/2018We celebrated at Sigree this week amongst the staff and a small crowd inside the restaurant. While there is ample space to get a party started Sigree has missed its mark on some major points. We were waited on our table by great staff. The food offering is standard buffet@625₹ plus taxes.Food:You get served at a very slow pace irrespective of how many people are being served in the dinning area. We were taken back by surprise for the waiting time was more than 25mins for some starters. While the waiters were very polite to our requests to get the food onto our plates, their ever smiling replies “Food is coming” was of no help! When the starters did come, some of it was raw inside and burnt outside ex. chicken tandoori. They realised the mistake and offered to change the plates but food should never be wasted nor cooked raw.Besides the starters the main buffet was the tasting point to be. We happily munched down on the entire line with no pain. They didnot have BIRA that day. Drinks were great in taste and stick to known options. Do not experiment here!!If it is your birthday/anniversary you get a very tasty cake served free of charge. Our overall experience would have been lifted had the starters been like any expectations of a starter. The Sigree staff are very hospitable and serve you well. I wish the food would also compliment them for making Sigree a great place to be for all the food lovers out there!!#Notthereyet #Buffet #Sigree
While the food was tasty the service was pathetic , food was served in a shabby manner, and was never on time . Veg and non veg starters were literally piled on each other on the sigree which made one of our guests couldnt enjoy as she was a pure veg . Some of the guests arrived late and were not even served some of the chicken/ veg starters (which were not on the skewers) .We ordered a round of cold drinks which eventually came after everyone was done eating desserts. Quite disappointing for the price they are charging .
Today is a special feast day in Bengal when son- in- laws are pampered with gifts and feted with delicious meals (Jamai Shosti). Sigree restaurant advertised a special Bengali menu for the occasion. We decided to try their speciality but unfortunately met with total disappointment. The Bengali items were fake and tasteless and did not use Bengali recepies. The dining area was warmish in this mid summer- their AC is ineffective. The buffet price is cheap, Rs 500/- but even that does not justify the indifferent dishes and poor ac. Parking is difficult nearby, but they have valet parking. Overall it left a very bad taste in the mouth. Avoid this restaurant.
Worst commercial place. No space for two wheeler parking. Very limited four wheeler parking. This is the adda of PMC people to lift off bikes on the No parking violation. I see everyday bikes taken away by municipality people. Dont go here for anything. Avoid at all conditions.
Filling me softly with their starters.... The prawns were super so was the kingfish on the skewers. In the meal I started with the desserts as I was already full and the spread was yummy. The blueberry mousse was to die for. Service was warm and efficient. I missed having soup though as it was not part of the days menu. The setting of this dinner was well done and definitely not overdone. I personally would have liked the music to be a little softer in decibel levels although playlist was appreciated. Good experience! Value for money
Sigree is a value for money place. Previously they used to include a drink in their buffet package, but now they dont. But reduced price though. Starters are good, but very occasionally they serve prawns. I normally go on weekdays for lunch to have a peaceful meal, but weekends are normally crowded. Adviced to prebook a table before stepping in.
I was here along with my office team, had a booking for Friday. We had only veg, grill starters were very dull only 3 things - potato, paneer, pineapple -best one probably the stars are for this. For main course dal makhni was very good. Salads were nice and deserts were mediocre. Pani puri was good. Pasta was good too. Overall service was mediocre. Had a much better experience at other buffet outlets.
Good service and good foods miss u yrrrr
For buffet in pune all eye wents to Barbique Nation else Sigree. We went for a bday party celebration. They have huge seating area.As we know they are provide more than 40 items for dinner. The salads i like much.On that day motton curry was awsome. So take a break and have sigree.I bet you the will satisfy your mouth as your capacity.Happy eating.
A plush restaurant located at a prominent and busy area of the city. Popular with corporate crowd during the day and families in the evening. Finding parking is a challenge and its advisable to use their valet service. Food is delicious and palatable. They offer buffet too. Menu has a variety suitable for all tastes. The buffet has many delicious starters including veg, chicken, mutton, fish and prawns. The main course is not very elaborate but has sufficient spread. Kids love their fish fingers in particular. Staff is efficient and attentive and courteous.
Had visited the place after reading good reviews.. At the outset.. Good ambience.. Completely empty on weekdays.. Starters are good esp the smoked fish was awesome.. But desserts were a huge disappointment.. So was the main course..Contrary to the name they had only one tandoori dish ... Not upto the expectations..
Best buffet ever. not sure when they will re open.
A nice place to visit with friends for a chilled out evening. The ambience is excellent. Offers all you can eat option. The snacks are good and perfectly done. Didnt try out the dinner. Valet parking available although you have to shell out Rs 30 for the parking. Closes at 11pm
Such a wonderful place.Though there ain’t a live grill to barbecue your food, yet the offerings have no compromise on quality or quantity. The serving folks are super friendly & are well trained.Nice place to be with family, friends & folks. Well done Sigree, keep it up !!
We chose Sigree for a team lunch, advantage was we did not have to wait for the table. Veg starters were decent,Tikkis, and Chat items were good, as regards grilled stuff were usual stuff. I was disappointed to note there was no soup on offer. Main course items were okay and so were sweets and deserts. So if you want to you have a quick team lunch with a decent food then you can choose Sigree.
The ambiance was good. We were disappointed by the buffet. Limited option of food items with okay taste. Not worth the price. The staff although was polite and helpful.
Location is bit hidden from the front road but once you reach here you feel like staying for a long time, and long time is needed if you want to savor all of what this exquisite restaurant has to offer. Pro tip- Go empty stomach infact skip the morning meal if you are plant to go here, then only you would be able to enjoy all the dishes it has to offer. What could be better than enjoying your dishes directly from the grill on your your table-- hot and spicy.
The ambience was good. Veg Buffet was better than Non-Veg one. Both the buffets have a limited variety.
After a long time...
Good food but slow Servive. So by the time food reached your hunger was reduced. And the manager was good and accommodating. Still Servive can improve and be quick to the tables.
Celebrated my birthday at agree with my family. We were spoilt for choice with chicken, fish, mutton and prawn starters. They also have options for chat. Main course and dessert also had a lot of options. Compared to other competitors sigree gives a good quantity and quality of food at an affordable price. The staff was courteous and we enjoyed our dinner.
One of the best which serves the real North Indian delicacies at this rate. 👌👌👌I loved the Dal Makhani the most with varieties in the bread basket & another delicacy was crisp Bhindi (Okra). 😋😋😋Ambience is very good but needs reservations in advance.👍👍👍
Nice place. The test of food is very good. I love it 😋.
Good, hygiene Food. Various choice of Starters and desserts. Yummy food+ Hazzy place. If you want alcohol as well this place is very nice option.
Good ambience, nice mocktails especially forbidden punch. Good starters. Average main course. Great service. Not as good as BBQ Nation but not bad either.
Best place to have a dinner with your loved one. Ambiance was very good. And service was excellent. Good quality food.
Great place for corporate lunch. Visited it with office team for lunch. Service and food quality is good.
Visited Sigree with family, office team lunch and on several occasions and its one of the best lunch buffets in town with the good price tag. No of starters and main course are best in class. I just love fish and chicken starters. Main course most of the time I eat less as full with starters only but dal is really good. Go for it. Must try.
The place has a good Ambience. Have usually visited it during lunch. They have good options for non veg starters, however I feel they need to improve on the veg starters during lunch hours. The desserts are good and so is the main course menu.
It was a nice place.. ambience was good. Less options for vegetarians. Some of the snacks were okay..
Good in taste... Ambience also good...Staff also very helpful... Problem is with 2 Wheeler parking issue you have to park your vehicle outside the main gate
Awesome buffet spread, with incomparable taste, quite a decent ambiance, at a price that justifies just right. One less star because, the Alfredo Pasta did not really have the Alfredo sauce; rest everything was just fine.
Costly menu. Thats why 4 stars. But parking and quality food served. Fresh and tasty. Sweet dishes have variety
Amazing food with wide variety of veg and non veg items. Its USP is its mouth watering kebabs. You get both veg and non veg buffet options. Waiters are extremely courteous and well mannered
Good place to dine, buffet has lot of varieties. Grill options are good but disappointed when not found fish in grill option. They have stopped pizza now, which was good attraction. Also they take lot of time and very unwilling if you have rewards vouchers.
Good food and ambience
Simply the best of all.Sigree is the place to be.Unlimited plate served here is of highest quality and also very hygienic.Very great experience. Can sit there as long as you wish. Also, place is quite big.A perfect place to have party.
If you are looking for a relaxed afternoon/evening with friends/family at a venue which is reasonably priced Sigree is the place for you. The service is non intrusive and very attentive. Food is very good. Recommended all days of the week and twice on Sundays...
Good Ambience, Nice and pro-active Staff.Food is tasty, plenty of variety in non-veg starter/dessert.Worth for money. Good for friends/family hangout.
It was fairly decent food. Not better than barbeque but certainly at that level. At the price they are offering, it is very great. Make full use by coming exactly at 12:30pm when it starts! Overall good ambiance and good experience.
Great food... Awesome unlimited starters - and then the buffet spread with brilliant sweet-dish options!Absolute steal... For a meal - rather an ABSOLUTE FEAST! :) (y)
It offers all you can eat starters and buffet, is reasonably priced and yet we didnt need to book a table for 6 on a weekday. It has nice ambience, the staff here is helpful and friendly. They check time and again about the service and are happy to customize the starters a bit to suit your taste buds. Food is delicious and these days they are offering good discount as well.
Starters are amazing, but main course menu could be improved, for the buffet. Overall a good experience. Staff is cooperative and friendly. Service is good.
Nice place, however taste is lacking,The place focused more on the North Indian dinner menu than the grill as advertised.Bit disappointed with the grilled foods taste.:/In my opinion, this is a place for those who want a North Indian buffet, than those looking for good grilled chicken and veggies
Good ambience and food. But could do much better in both scenarios. Service is also ok.
Had a very bad experience, as a non-vegetarian I gave atleast 2 stars. Veg options were terrible as food was salty and spicy. Very limited options in the starters. If I had to recommend AB is best for bbq buffets. Sweet was very average too.
Nice place. Food quality is good. Service needs to improve.
Good food, ambience n very prompt service. Just few negatives like no proper parking for 2 wheelers n paid valet parking for 4 wheelers. Also, some of the starters were very average n undercooked. But otherwise good experience n great desserts.
Good place to eat.
Great food, drinks and ambiance
Better than BBQ nation
Awesome experience. Good food. Staff behaviour is good. Little costly, but worth it for a foody. Happy exploring!
Food and ambience is good. Outside sitting once gave the view of the river and it was really a beautiful exp. Which is now blocked due to a commercial building in between.
Nice experience
Very poor options for veg compared to other similar franchises. Not so spicy, not so tasty food. Not good /best..neither bad food..
Extremely disappointed with Sigree which was once one of my favorite restaurants in the city. The food was average and service was pathetic. We had to call the waiters multiple times to get their attention as they were too busy watching the cricket match being telecast on TV. To top it all, the restaurant was swarming with mosquitoes! Staff at the restaurant were least bothered even after I showed them dead mosquitoes in my dessert plate. It was a horrible experience
I had visited Sigree 6 years before my visit in the last week.. The place has changed a lot and not in a good way. Overall the ambience looked somewhat untidy. Coming to the food, the veg buffet had several barbecue items however not even one item was worth mentioning. Staff was kind of unbothered. Servers had to be chased several times even to get the cutlery. Main course included usual items. Only dish that was worth mentioning in the three course meal was Dal Makhani. Considering other great options for buffet in the city you can surely give this place a pass.
Entering this place we were the only people in the hotel. We went on a Monday afternoon. The buffet menu was very limited i.e. only 4 starters all in all the food lacked freshness and was very mundane. The mains cold and it felt like the food was just heated. The staff was active but the service was slow. Ive tried the other outlets earlier which were a lot better. Would recommend spending a little more and going to a better place.
Food is superb, service is excellent.. The staff is courteous. The ambience is class apart.. You must visit this placeI had also ate at Sigree Aundh but this is much better than Aundh
Food and price good.. Call and confirm the table before going or they make you wait even if booked table..
Food was OK. Abeyance was good. But it was too hot inside. Service was excellent
Friendly staff excellent place a good food ...what more you can ask for now
Great Food. Should add some Good main course dishes
Love the place amazing staff and currently there are having street food festival going on which I have tried and its amazing most recommended place...
Nice place. One time
Starters like barbeques are very good...Good variety of desserts..main course was average.Ambience was good
