Best buffet in town. Whenever we have any guests from India or abroad, we mostly bring them either here or at Barbeque Nation, on the top floor of same building.I have 2 rules for this place, first one is to forget any word related to dieting. Second one is to eat sweet dishes in the main course plate and try all Indian ones.The staff is real courteous and polite. Make sure to book in advance to avoid any inconvenience. Check out for any ongoing themes like Street food festival etc.

Location: Hotel Sayaji is a 5-star hotel on Pune Bangalore highway. Its quite easy to spot this hotel from long distance on the highway. Quite a beautiful and architecture. Portico is based on the ground floor of the hotel.Ambience: Its a 5-star hotel there is no complaint of ambience. Everything was slick, well lit and properly managed. When I visit this restaurant there was a Street Food Festival going on. Believe me, I went to this place for the best. They did decorate the whole place with a good vibe of street food. They even brought the street food vendors Raali.Food: I am a huge street food or you can say Chat fan. They had lots of food items therefrom Street made. So I was very excited about that and I didnt have the normal course. Portico offer buffet kind of service. we have tried all type starters some soup. The dessert section was amazing all of them where Indian desert so loved of them all.Drinks: We tried some mocktail most of them were fruit and I loved each one. We ask the Bartender to make something special for us and He gave u Mint Island Iced tea which was amazing and then we all ordered it.The overall experience of this place was amazing. Every staff was friendly and respectful the Chefs were very collaborative and the Bartender guy was very cool, so thank you so much for having us Sayaji Pune and staff at Portico.

On a lazy Sunday, I was looking for a special brunch! With Portico finalized, I drove to Sayaji Hotel with my family. Car Parking is not an issue inside Sayaji Hotel & valet parking is also available. Portico is on the ground floor at Sayaji Hotel. The restaurant has two seating sections inside & outside. Inside section has a small seating area, but with beautiful ambiance. We prefer to sit outside since it was less crowded.We started with starters like Dahi Wada, Veg Cheese Cutlet, Paneer Tikka, Fried corn with spices & Sweet Corn Veg soup. The soup was good & in the starters, I liked Veg Cheese Cutlet, Corn with spices & Paneer Tikka. Dahi Wada, taste wise on the sweeter side! I had also tasted salads which were kept in a small bowl. The salad was yummy though.During the main course, I had tasted Lahori Paneer Tikka, mixed vegetables, Dal, Missi Roti & Veg Noodles. Missi Roti & mixed vegetable was good! All other items were just OK!We did also taste White Pasta which was good in taste!Overall, the food taste is OK! Service is good & Staff were courteous! Cost wise, considering it Sunday brunch, the overall food spread & the taste, it’s on the higher side! They also levy service charges!

Food was good. Usually I love their buffet but this time none of their food items were served hot in buffet.

We had gone for a buffet lunch. We paid around 800 rs per person including non veg. Their starters are amazing. Main course could have had more items in rice and vegetables. Deserts were very delicious. Staff is good and kind but a bit slow. Ambiance is awesome, its very comfortable.

Have been to this place for Sunday brunch many times and it has never disappointed. Ample variety of starters served on the table. Good salad and main course options followed by delectable deserts.Just make sure you are hungry enough to enjoy all the options... Suggest fasting the previous day ;-)

Went there for an occasion. It was weekday. Food taste was good as usual but the variety was limited. I have seen the buffet options on weekends, its awesome. But somehow not on weekday. Ambience, service n all good. Is it worth money? I doubt.

We went there for team lunch and they offered very lucrative corporate offer which includes 4veg+4non-veg starters n main course apart from regular soup, salads n snack with live chat counter. Desserts are the best part of the lunch. Worth a try.

Buffet has a large spread of dishes. 4 appetizers are served at the table and so are your choice of breads. Food quality is very good and service is exceptional. All in all great value for money. Staff ensures you are well looked after.

This is in Shayaji Hotel, Pune...the food is good...starters are good but repeated every alternate day...the biggest minus is the space. One would feel claustrophobic during breakfast and dinner in case a substantial number of people decide to go for dinner together..

Its a good place but going in such a place you always expect better. Many more better options are there in the same budget. Food menu is not that versatile as other buffet services offer in and around Hinjewadi. In the name of starter very less items are there and so in main course.

Good food and great hospitality. Costlier than bbq nation (both are in same building of sayaji hotel) but worth it. Wide spread of buffet with variety of starters (chicken, lamb, fish, prawns, chaat, Chinese, paneer, corn, etc). Starters are served on table. They will customise the taste as per your liking. They can also make a starter (not from buffet menu) if you ask them to do ( of course if it is feasible for them) at no extra cost. Desserts are good too. Generally not very crowded so you can simply relax and enjoy your meal.

But i would suggest give the priority to the veg dishes for this single time.The Veg and Non-Veg both were dam delicious. It was like attending the big fat dinner.I was super satisfied with the service and the staff was good and helpful and yes they treated everyone equally who had been there for the this massive dinner.You wouldnt believe on one important thing related to this buffet i.e the price that is allocated for this Buffet.ITS JUST Rs.875 plus taxesAnd you would be surprised that this cost sums up this massive dinner which will be always remembered by you❤️So right from the detox water till the dessert this buffet made my day.It was a one of the best experience having such a large number of dishesAnd  mark my words you will go for each and every dishes because they are so tempting and they have good choices of dishes 😍So the varieties were like : Starters , Momos , chats , Mocktails , Main course , DessertsSo guys do give it a try once you will surely make it point that you will share it on and you yourself will be the constant guest of Portico

Portico By Sayaji!Portico is an in house restaurant by Sayaji and is located in wakad, the restaurant serves North Indian, Asian and European cuisines. The restaurant as a pleasant ambiance and the seating is comfortable. I visited this place last week for dinner for the Monsoon Delight festival which focuses more on vegetarian dishes with good options in non veg as well. As it was month of shravan we decided to try the veg dishes. I was completely unaware of this place until I got a ping from Ms Mokshada to visit this place to have a meal.Starters & ChaatThere were several starters and Chaat dishes that we served on the table. My best picks from starters were Veg Dimsums which were served with 4 dips, Melting Mushroom which were deep fried mushroom balls stuffed with cheese in it, and Paneer Hare Mutter Ka Tikka which had Paneer cubes stuffed with finely chopped green peas stuffing.From Chaat dishes I really loved the dahi wada which was nicely soaked and moist till the core topepd with fresh yogurt, tamrind chutney and spices, Bharwan Mirchi Chaat had long green chillis deep fried in flour batter and was topped with mint chutney and various spices was superb in taste.MainsThe mains which had a huge spread than our expectations was also impressive, Namak Mandi ki Sabzi had assorted vegetables done in a medium spicy thick and flavorful gravy and Makkai Hariyali with Corn Fritters dipped in rich and cream spinach gravy were truly outstanding.Desserts: The dessert spread had options of different mousse, cakes, Indian sweets, pudding’s and pie, it was indeed a sweet ending to our meal. The Honey walnut pie was one of the best which I have had. Baked rasgulla was hevenly in taste and was not too sweet.Overall: Service was exceptional and the Staff was extremely polite and courteous. The entire team of Portico is well trained and the staff is also aware about the menu that is being served in the restaurant. A special mention to the hospitality by Ms Mokshada. I would also like to appreciate the head chef who was open to feedback and suggestions. While having the meal I did notice that he was taking feedback from the customers ensuring that the guest are happy and are truly enjoying the meal. With more than 100 plus options the buffet which is price at Rs 875 plus taxes is indeed a steal deal. Thanks a lot Team Sayaji for hosting us.
