Mandala hotpot culture is known for serving Mongolian delicacy know as hotpot. The concept here is on each table a hot soup or broth is served and provided with toppings of our choice. They are then cooked live on table. The place is very small and congested and its difficult for group of more than 5 person. The owner/chef is helpful in selection and ordering as well explaining the concept for newbies. They have wide variety of complimentary veg and non veg toppings to choose from along with some additional ones.we ordered spicy schezwan broth with veg and non veg options.in veg we ordered mushroom, potato, baby corn, corn on the cob and zucchini.for non veg chicken slices and pepperoni along with eggs.Tried with rice and noodles.food was good. you can definitely try this out.Its very expensive given the area they are in and avg cost per person can go up to 800to 900 rs.ambience 3/5food4/5Service 3/5VFM2/5overall 3/5

Mandala Hotpot does not cease to amaze me...I have had their food twice and I kid you not this is what food must taste like in heaven...The summer rolls, the hand made wok noodles (Im not sure if theyre), the sushi, the hot pot, itself... They are simple yet scrumptious... It makes you believe in simplicity bringing out the flavours and it really is mind blowing ... Her food is fresh, well prepared and I can see how passionate the owner is because she knows what shes doing ...This may be one of the best Pan Asian restaurants in the country...If craving some really authentic flavours, this is a must try.Continue what you are doing and thank you for existing!

It was a weekend and we decided to try something unconventional, we landed up at mandala, where they serve authentic hotpots designed according to your needs. It was quite a unique concept for us and we were in two minds but we ended up having a tremendous time, we really loved the food. Let me give you an experience of the place in my words:Ambience:- The ambience of the place was pretty great, very properly designed, you could really notice the minute touches of authenticity.Food:- This was our first time trying something like this and you know what we were really impressed with the taste and flavours, we had a lot of things there like hotpot, Bao and some dim sums as well and all the things were top notch.Quality:- The owner of the place was really particular about the quality of the food as the food was oozing with flavour and the dishes right from the appetisers to the dessert, everything was absolutely exquisite.Service:- Even though the food was so good as I mentioned above, my most favourite thing here was there service the servings staff was very well trained and their service was marvellous, we don’t see something like that in this day and age.Hygiene:- The place was pretty hygienic, had a fresh feel to it and was well arranged for my liking.Do visit this place if you’re looking for something unorthodox.

Mandala hot pot culture is a cute little restaurant in Kalyani nagar. The hot pot is a new concept. It is a part of the Asian food. The place serves the half and half hot pot along with the veggies, sauces and meat of your choice. We had tried the Thai basil gravy and herbes stock. The arrangement in a circular form was artistic and mimic a mandala from where the name of the restaurant is inspired. The owner and chef Meghna is really very courteous and she in detail explained how to go about the hot pot and also gave the precise details about how long the veggies or meat should be placed in the broth to get the apt taste.Apart from the hot pot the place also serves a variety of momos, sushi and baos. The also serve a great variety of mocktails.Instead of normal water they serve detox water as well....For more updates follow @khaanawithsana...———————————————————————-#khaanawithsana#likeformore #followformore#mandalahotpotculture #newconcept #halfandhalf #broth #thaibasilcurry #dimsums #momos #sushi #punerestaurants #punegram #explorepune #lovetoeat #happymeal #spicyfood #chicken #veggies #foodblogfeed #trendingfood

Mandala is a Sanskrit word which means circle, its a complex abstract design. This hot pot contains broth in one half and another half contains coconut based flavourful curry. You can select the veggies and the meat of your choice which you can add one by one along with the sauces and the accompaniments kept next to the hot pot. You can also select whether you want rice or noodles. They have many options in that too.Its an experience more than just a dinner or lunch. Its an interactive session to have it with your loved ones. Mandala Hot Pot Culture--------------------------------This place is located in posh area of pune known as kalyani nagar. Mandala is a sanskrit word and its meaning is universe. Hot Pot is a chinese cooking method, prepared with a simmering pot of soup stock at the dining table, containing a variety of East Asian foodstuffs and ingredients.👉 Ambience :- This is a very small outlet though they have managed nice seating and the best part is that kitchen is open. I like the fan and buddha statue.👉 Staff :- We were warmly greeted by owner. She is a food consultant and chef too. Staff was very professional and good knowledge of cusinie.👉 Service :- if you order Hot pot you need to wait little bit as it takes time to ready. Overall service was quite satisfactory.👉 Food :-🔹 Dim Sum :- Dim sum means touch your heart. It is chinese small bite dish that was served us to bamboo steamer baskets. It was nicely steamed and taste was amazing.🔹Hot Pot :- I have tasted this dish (non veg) so many times in dehradun when I was in college. I had tried first time the veg hot pot in pune and it was mind blowing. The soup was so tasty. Vegetables served was fresh, Brown rice was cooked properly, cellophane noodles was not sticky and sauces were mind blowing. While the hot pot is kept simmering, ingredients are placed into the pot and are cooked at the table, in a manner similar to fondue. I can say that it is less than a dish it is an experience. Everyone should must try it once in a lifetime. Highly Recommended.🔹Bao :- it is also known as Baozi. It is basically a type of filled bun. We had been served with paneer variations and it was okay.🔹Banana Walnut Cake :- After having hot pot my tummy was almost full but heart has a little bit space for desserts. I love the presentation it look so tempting. I am still craving for it. It was very light and moist with sweetness of bananas. Must try.🔹Triple Chocolate Mousse Cake :- it was rich, chocolaty and decadent, hard not to fall in love with it from the first bite. It was scrumptious and presentation was so nice. Highly Recommended.Overall experience was amazing. If you want to try asian cuisine this place will never disappoint you. I was invited for food tasting and above are my honest reviews regarding dishes served to us.Highly recommended for hot pot and desserts. They served only veg. I am eagerly waiting for their non veg branch.

Tl;Dr - - fantastic experience. More on the expensive side. One of the finest and most unconventional dining experiences ever! That sums up our visit to this place. This place serves primarily Asian cuisine and its small interior space and music aligns with the theme. We tried the dimsums and the sushi and we loved them. No doubts about that. But lets come to the hotpot. Thats what youre here for. Thats what the experience is all about. I wont explain anything about the hotpot because I dont want to ruin it for you and let the very hospitable owner/chef do it for you. She explains everything in a detailed manner and just because we were naive she was kind to explain it again. Definite recommendation - herbal vegetable soup for the hotpot. Its also imperative to mention that its an expensive restaurant. So be prepared to shell out cash. Also, they have an offer where if you visit the place 4 times and have the hotpot 4 times, the 5th hotpot is on the house. Yayy!

I had never tried Asian Food before except for the Indian one😅. But this place is the best spot to take your taste buds to an thrilling adventure.Location:- Perfectly targeting the best market. Located in a posh locality where people know what to eat and love to try different things. Easy accessible and not hard to find. So a 5* on location.Ambience:- Its a very small place to be honest can allow not more than 15-20 pax inside. I got an image in my off a bigger outlet somehow. By seeing other people photos of ambience n all. So ambience inside was very lit to be honest even if the outlet is small but the decór is up to the mark. Its worth clicking pictures inside. So 4.5* for the ambience.Service:- They have a nice service and obviously being a hotpot place, it will take 10-20 mins to setup the table and everything but its a very concept of selecting all your veggies n stuff and cook for yourself by enjoying it. The staff is very efficient and dedicated to their work. I would give a hats off to owner who has a very good knowledge about the all the stuff she being a chef in her own restaurant. I always appreciate people who live their dreams and she is living hers by cooking in her own restaurant. So 5* for her and her service.Food:- The only thing that keeps me going, and if I am being honest I was not so sure of this kind of cuisine or the all the items I looked at but when I ate it, it was all the burst of flavors in my mouth. So many ingredients to chose from, so many sauces to eat with. Ranging from veggies like broccoli, mushroom, baby carrots, baby corn, lotus stem to vermicelli noodles to brown rice. Every item was worth eating and that soup/broth was just a hit of flavors. We even got bread to eat with soup and sauces. The hotpot was a success for me. The desserts were out of this world. I wasnt expecting such desserts from an Asian cuisine focused place. The desserts got the rating up by 1* . The only off thing were the dumplings cause I found them chewy maybe overcooked but ignorable cause they tasted nice.I will overall rate this place 4.6* .Totally recommended for Asian food admirers and foodies. Must try desserts here and the hotpot is always there for you.

Its always a big task to select a place for ASIAN food for vegetarian. And surprisingly theres this place newly opened perfectly fitting into the needs. This was my first time with hot pot and I was really excited to try it. I absolutely loved it!!Hot pot is prepared with a simmering pot of soup stock at the dining table, containing a variety of exotic vegetables. The temperature of the soup can be adjusted by the remote. While the hot pot is boiling, ingredients are placed into the pot and are cooked at the table, similar to fondue. Every table has a space for the pot. Im not really into vegetarian food but this totally change my view on vegan food.I also had paneer bao. The bread just melted in my mouth, it was so soft and tasted so fresh. For Desserts I had chocolate truffle and lichi strawberry cream cake which was freshly baked. It was an whole new amazing experience for me.Also, they give detox water which was different and new to me.Staffs :Meghna is so hard working and passionate. She was super friendly. It all reflected on the food and the restaurant. And as I mentioned above it was my first time with hot pot. She explained it so nicely. The whole experience was worth it. Definitely visiting here again.

Mandala Hot Pot, as the name suggests, the size of a mug pot...Stopped by on a rainy Friday evening to satisfy my craving for Asian cuisine and Google maps suggested the nearest tent, with only three tables and 2 staffs. As soon as you enter this 2x2 corner, you are greeted with a stare by a middle aged hostess who apparently is also the owner, cook, and cashier and another staff as full time cook. On ordering food the owner/hostess ensures you order only those items which are easy to cook as anything you name on the menu, you get a reply saying, it will take time, why put it on the menu then?..by the time the appetizers came it felt like next day and on ordering more, all we were made aware was of the time it will take to prepare and how swamped the two staffs were. Serving three tables with diff orders and one cook I wonder what they were thinking during setup..also we couldnt order more food as everything seemed to take time and at 9:20 after consuming our first course when we wanted to order more and asked what they could prepare, we were denied food without any warning of last order. When asked why we werent informed about the time as we really were still hungry and wanted to order more main course since the food quantity is the size of an infants palm, the cook said restaurants shut at 10pm and refused to speak to us..so basically they expect their guests to assum the last order time -9:15pm.. also food quality is mediocre and highly priced...so folks if you ever fall short of dine out options, I suggest you choose a roadside foodtruck or the local wada pav vendor as even they will provide you with good service and atleast you wont be left hungry.. in these tough times when restaurants are trying their best to survive, Mandala sure is doing its best to drop onto open space standing next to a Chinese thela selling its Japanese Sushi..

Loved the place, the whole idea behind introducing the Hot Pot culture is amazing.Ill be honest - it takes a good amount of patience to try this to end up enjoying it. But it also becomes fun once you start meddling with the stuff on your table.A word of caution for those whod like to try this - visit this place keeping a good reserve of time with you.It almost takes 30 minutes to get plated, that is after youve chosen the ingredients you want. It is understandable since the veggies, soup, meat needs to be freshly cut for this. Then it will take you some time to cook the food and eat it while its boiling but dont try to gobble up all the fun. Enjoy it!

The spices were so refreshing and the taste brought back so many happy memories for us. You can see and taste the attention, sweat and creativity Chef has put in creating those dishes. For me a great dish starts with the best ingredients and the diligence she has put in choosing the ingredients. She has literally brought little pieces of of Asia to the tables at Mandala. The cleanliness of the place can definitely be questioned. It is an open kitchen and thus the spices and oil can be smelled to where the tables are. It irritates the eyes and is an unpleasant experience. Moreover, when you leave the restaurant you smell like a hotpot because the restaurant is really small and is almost like a smelly steam room. The staff is clueless, the whole place runs at the knowledge of the owner. We entered the restaurant when the owner was missing and the staff didn’t know a thing. They are clueless about any dish, any flavour, they don’t have knowledge about the menu....The 5 course set menu comes in weird long intervals and by the time you’re already full because you’re forced to eat slowly. It took 1.5 hours for all the 5 parts of the menu to come to the table. The food is not great either. The bao was slightly uncooked. The dimsums were runny and the tempura was just chicken Bhajji. The only good part is that the owner is really sweet and comes to check on you frequently.

They have wonderful passion fruit mojito. When you visit this place make sure you go with open mind to try something new which is very flavourful and very healthy. We four friends visited this place to try something new and now we are pretty sure we are visiting this place often.Tried various things like dimsums ,bao ,sushi and the Table Starrer- Hot Pot .Everything was unique and awesome but you must miss the the Chicken and Tofu bao and the Hot Pot .The Hot pot was a combination of a broth and a gravy .We tried the Herbed stock and Thai basil gravy. That was simply awesome. We tried sweet chilli ,thai, siracha and chilly oil in sauces. We even had chilly soy as one of our friend is a spice lover .Overall the service ,food quality and quantity is totally value for money.Chef Meghna is always there to help you select you food as per your taste needs.

Very disappointed by their service. No courtesy to inform on the charges. The rates shared on the menu and final bill never match. Please be careful with what you order and get it verified with the staff.Never going again nor recommending anyone.

If you want to experience the streets of South East Asia, head over to Mandala. The charming owner ensures youre comfortable - the simmering bowl of broth with your choice of veggies and meats takes that comfort to the next level

Mandala hot pot culture is an asian restaurant located in the lane of kalyani nagar. The ambience is hygienic and they have open kitchen.I am happy that they have kept every detail in mind when it comes to Asian food.Starting with the menu:-The Crystal dimsums(4/5)Though not a dimsum fan, this place serves good dimsum along with variety of sauces which a so damn good.Hot pot(5/5)So the concept is new in pune, that is you have to make your own pot by controlling the boiling point of the soup and adding the veggies, dry greens, peanuts, bread, sauces, black rice, noodles etcThe whole experience had me in awe since I was so happy just looking at the spread. The taste was amazing and the sauces were so goooddddddd.Bao stuffed with paneer(4/5)The outer layer was soft and the stuffings were good but could have been more spicy.Desserts:-Their desserts are something you should definitely try.A good experience.

Fabulously vegetarian and unabashedly Asian, Mandala Hot Pot Culture offers yummy dimsums, bao, noodles and hot pot besides fabulous desserts. We love this small eatery, and even though we are carnivores, the dishes from Meghna have never made us miss meat. Visit! You will be delighted.

Wow! What a lovely experience we had at this beautiful cozy restaurant located in Kalyani Nagar. We were recommended by a close friend, and finally found a place that serves Hot Pot which made us so Soo nostalgic, took us years back when we lived in China and it was our staple for years together. The best part of this restaurant apart from the ambiance and the lovely pretty chef/owner host is their super gorgeous food with the amazing hospitality served .. The sichuan hot pot broth was to die for with so rarely found exotic vegetables.. the dimsums were so flavourful with alot of variety offered. The bao sandwiches, which were absolutely amazing as well with the peanuty sauce in it. Our satiating ending to the meal was perfect with the steamed custard buns and Vietnamese cold coffee, so well done and rarely found in the city. We are looking forward to visit Mandala Hot Pot Culture again and again and waiting eagerly to see their sauces and coffee bottled up so we can have a piece of Mandala sitting at the other side of the city. Brilliantly done Chef! Do open up at Baner side of the city soon 😊

Ok experience, does not justify the ratings. Over all a little underwhelming I would rate it 3.5 stars!
