One stop shop for all South Indian groceries.. and very good customer service..All digital payments are accepted here.
Covid 19 has made every one undergo some or the other change. Kerala Restaurant too has gone thru ups and downs. But I guess it was for better from customers point of view. The 42 seater Kerala Restaurant now doubles up as a Kerala Store when the restaurant was closed due to Covid 19 pandamic.I got a chance to taste the food here last Friday. And yes, I was not a bit disappointed.Though its a small place, you will get the feel of its Mallu-ness as you enter the place. Strong cooking smell of curry leaves welcomes you in. It serves both Veg and Non Veg.I settled for a mini meal. Fat rice, sambar were the main hero on my make shift paper banana leaf. Other items to decorate the leaf was greens peas subji, cabbage sabji, strong tasty pickle along with pappadum and buttermilk.Next time I will be exploring some egg dish here. After having your food you may want to take some Kerala snack if you wish. For me, its a best new find nearby my area.
Recommended cuisines -Chicken ghee roastfried chickenBuff curry& to finish on a good note - Sulaimani Tea.
Can enjoy Kerala food once in a while .Nice place.
If only I could give 0 star, I would give it twice.. worst service .. they dont know how to behave to customers, they only know how to ask for money, extremely rude and proud owners.
I order chicken fry via zomato and you deliver 5 pieces of black color stones which is like a rubber from inside.. stale and under cooked... if this is how you treat your regular customers then god only know what you must be doing to your one time customer. If you dont have fresh food then dont keep it in you menu.. Horrendous people.
A fantastic variety of Keralite food , savouries, ingredients , ready to use stuff n all essentials needed for Keralite cooking . An adjoining restaurant serves both veg n non veg food , a great well stocked place, to be visited just to see the sheer variety n stock of Kerala delicacies.Has everything from Banana chips to Jackfruit Chips to small onions to appam mix to appam vessels to sambar mix to what not
Faced discrimination!!! I thought Malayali people are friendly but today got to know they are also racist people. Got denied for ordering food for being non- Malayali
Kerala restaurant is next level!! For a South Indian its like best place..you can best Kerala food..nd also you can get all groceries.. which is available in Kerala...and there is some tamilnadu brands like aachi nd sathik powers available
Nice place ever in pune for kerala food, hygiene, neat clean and fresh food provided, a large variety of south indian groceries, with door delivery.
This is a highly recommended place in Pune if you relish Kerala cuisine. While my colleague has buff, I had chicken roast masala, paratha and appam... The taste just took me back to Kerala. My colleague had buff and he was impressed as well. Only small disappointment is that the leg piece in the chicken had way too much skin. Rest all was a thumbs up.
Best place to find tasty kerala dishes. I was able to relinquish my Morning break fast thirst. Happy to take a break from poha, vadapav, misal pav and sabudana.
Good Kerala shop and also get All product from Kerala I had purchased Filter coffeeI like it its good
Ordered rice, sambar and chicken this evening, I cant even give one star rating for that food. Sambar was awful.. Please give good food to Keralites living in Pune
Good place food is great but the ambience can be improved
Authentic.Just this one word is enough to describe the food here. The restaurant is located just a few blocks away from the Aundh Gaon bus stop. A perfect place for people to stop by and get a quick grab. The restaurant is non-AC.They have shifted from the first floor to the ground floor of the building. This has brought in positive changes in terms of customer experience. There is a cash counter and someone to take your order, which was missing in their old location. The food is hot, fresh and delicious. I come here mostly to eat fish - which they cook very nicely and in the typical Malayali style. This time I had ordered Kerala Fish Meal. It had rice, dal, 2 vegetable dishes - one dry and one wet, fish curry, papad and mango pickleNo doubt that this is one of my fav places to eat fish in Pune.
Best kerela food in Pune
Worst service ever.. no manners, food tastes stale.. would never recommend it again

Delicious kerala food
Nice experience for Vishu purchasing...Very helpful and co-operative staff.Thank u
Nice kerala food,fish 🐟 items
Best place to get Kerala food in Pune. Tasty Kappa(Tapioca) and fish curry, gravy is super. Appam, buff are many folds better than most of the places in Pune. All most all dishes will be served during any time of day. Home delivery is available through swiggy, Foodpanda and all.And Sulaimani tea(a Kerala style black tea with spices and lemon juice) is a must try item. Its just cost ₹20. And anyone will love it.Kerala Thali is superb with lot of dishes. All sort of fish, chicken and buff items are meet everyones expectation. Portion size, taste, lacks the use of artificial colours which are dominant in Pune food items, traditional taste and flavours are well maintained.
Good food ..Good test
Great Kerala taste in local pune
All good Kerala food items/ snacks/groceries which are rarely available in other regular shops are available here. Good quality and decent service.
They were rude and some of food was stale.
Nice place..Good Food..Good people.Best service..
Very good place for food
I think dey have a excellent taste wrt food. Ambience may not b d best but the food takes care of it...also dey have a Malayalee store just besides which is good
The food was a treat. We got some dry meat fry and a meat dish in a thick gravy and Kerala parotid and appams. The packaging was good and the foods retained freshness though we consumed them an hour or so later and there was still enough for another meal!Of course we are elderly! But while we waited for our order to be ready , we saw a young man with many dishes before him and still busy consuming various dishes - this was somewhere around 11 in the morning and so it must have been his brunch :D But that was proof enough for us that the food would be good.I was anxious about both meat and parotta as my gums and teeth are still tender after an extraction: both were excellent! The meat was tender and just spicy enough. The parotta was a pleasure even when slightly reheated and served a day or two later. The shop is filled with goodies of all sorts to delight any Malyalee heart but even others will find it hard to resist walking away with arms full of purchases.I wish the place and those who manage it and those who cook there a Happy, Healthy and Wealthy New Year and may they always bring pleasure to the table!
Nice Kerala authentic food
They are back now, just visited two days before and got the same great taste. Worth visiting for kerala food in reasonable price
All type of kerala foods available
Expensive Karla food ...better to visit near rubi hospital for karlafish curry & rice
Get all Kerala items. Helpful for South indians living in the vicinity.
Amazing food. Must try buff fry
Best place for Malayali people and others too, they hv amazing food. It would hv been better if they would improve the ambience.
You can get most verieties of Kerala snacks from here. Ordered Kerala Pirotta which was really good.
Good Kerala food, have dine in. But, more suitable for takeaway
A one stop shop for Kerala products. They provide both Kerala cuisine and daily needs.
Always love to visit this place... Makes me feel good
Nice South Indian restaurant with delicious and fresh seafood
Authentic kerala food. Good service. Grocery is available too.
Decent food with limited options. Don’t forget to try Sulaimani Tea
Best Kerala meals
Awesome 👍
Best place to get all Kerala products. One stop Shop.
Full Kerala style food... Nice 😊
Great sound indian food
Its a good place for authentic Kerla Food.
Dont go by the shabby exterior. The food here is really good. Excellent value for money. They dont have a huge menu but what ever they offer, they do it well. Expect to pay anywhere between 100-200 per person. The service is a bit slow because the guys who were serving were doing the cooking as well.
Awesome food
Good experience
Amazing Kerala food. Now they have also started to keep products from Kerala. All in all its and amazing shop and the food is affordable and yummy..
Its a different taste and I love it. The spices and the gravy they made is just awesome. My favourite dish is chicken masala roast. I also like big pieces of coconut in almost every curry/gravy.
This is a very good Shop and good stafg
Awesome Kerala food...Fish curry is amazing
Ohkkk so first thing first... Its not a restaurant anymore... looks like it was in the past but not anymore.. so now what they do is sell all the food products.. allegedly made in kerala... Most of this stuff you can get in a dry fruits store but all they have is Made in Kerala ...And actually the brands they have here are unique that I dont get these anywhere else.. like banana powder for babies ... Only these guys have it. ..Place is cash only.. no parking space... Good service...
Ambience is a little dark, owner is super sweet and friendly, food is tasty and healthy, fishes are generally the dried and desiccated variants, should serve fresh fish also.
I love this place. Yummy and super tasty food.. Perfect Kerala food... Feels like home
Superb Food❤️
Authentic Kerela food, not so good, over rated and unreasonably expensive. Thats how I would sum this up in one sentence. What I didnt like much was there was no choice of fishes available, as there are days assigned to fish and they only serve them on those days. The fish we were served was quite charred by frying and quantity was less. The chicken was very spicy and oily. The seating is limited and place is quite full on weekends.
Nov 19The service is very much improved on my recent visit!Had a bad experience visiting this place yestersay. We spend around two hours there. No one was interested to take order or give us menu. After long wait we got cold parotta which would have been cooked the previous day or so. Buff roast was tasty. Another long wait for someone to give us water. By this time another couple who came at the same time got up and went angrily. One more hour for water and wrong bill after informing the guy in kitchen. Such a messed up place. I wonder if the reviews below are fake or they give good food items to Zomato only. If so, its time to close the restaurant!
South indian taste
Amazing little place. Its definitely not a place to go for the ambience or the fact that it can seat seat only about 12. Its for the food and the prices. The buff fry and the fish fry along with their porottas is amazing. Wash it all down worth some Moru (Kerala style buttermilk) and youll be a happy camper for a while.
Good Kerala restaurant lot of options... At the sameTime there is a store which has all Kerala products like Chennai puttu podi, instant appam podi, etc. Also you can get some over the counter ayurvedic massage oil...
Just now had logged on uber eats , and ordered Egg Masala RoastTwo eggs cooked in a special thick gravy of onions and tomatoes.Get this for ₹60 at checkout, and Fish CurryFish made in gravy of either grated coconut or molagu (red chilli) with Kerala tamarind.Get this for ₹80 at checkout.after promo codes and discounts my bill was coming to 213.82.i made the transaction using debit card.the amount of Rs. 213.82 was debited. and i got an sms from my bank.now Kerala restaurant has cancelled my order.i am helpless, unable to contact uber eats , as i am searching for their customer care number, and even kerala restaurant number is unavailable.friends please be aware of this before placing an order from this restaurant
Best place in aundh serving kerala food including puttu, porotta and other kerala style dishes, you must try kerala sulaimani (black flavored tea) once, limited tables
This shop is serving cost effective kerala food , however it is average food. Location of the shop is very good. Staffs are not that supportive, however owners are very customer focused. Bit of stinky smell should be expected.
Gfd
Bad quality
Not a great place with ambiance.. but nice for Kerala taste food
Honestly the best Kerala budget place to eat in town. The biggest advantage is the food being freshy cooked. The prices arent much. The downside is the waiting time and the super tiny place. So probably a take away would work better.
Its was nice experience to try 1st time in kerela style of food. Food is average
First few times it was Great, but Quality and standard of Taste was Not At All Good Today.
I found it as the best Kerala restaurant on west side of Pune and very Reasonable pricing.Everything what they prepared tastes really good
