Food is an integral part of travel. In Maharashtra, if you crave for Marathi cuisine, look out for wada... A wada is a traditional mansion; the restaurants with the names wada serve the local food in a setting reminding you of an old house!En route Mahabaleshwar, we halted at Dhonewada for lunch. Here, despite the heat (dont expect air conditioning at wadas), we hogged on Chicken Malvani, Limbu Sherbet, Mutton Kala Shukka & Solkadi...Delicious is an understatement for each of the dishes!

The food is not at all worth the price. The service is also extremely poor. I recently visited this place thinking it will serve authentic Maharashtrian thalis. However, none of the dishes mentioned in the menu were served to us.The menu mentioned thali with chapati/ bhakri, whereas they served us tandoori roti providing an excuse. Moreover, sweet dish was not provided, instead they served us some random poor quality salad . How can dessert be substituted by salad? And if it is not available, why is it in the menu? And WHY ARE THEY CHARGING THE SAME PRICE FOR SERVING ONLY 25% of the food???The rice they served didn’t look like it was freshly made. It was one of the worse rice I have ever had (not exaggerating).They only served us around 25% of what was there on the menu. WITH A VERY RUDE SERVICE. I saw several customers just WALKING OUT without ordering food looking at their poor service and lack of seriousness towards availability and quality of food. I WILL NOT EVER RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT. I wasted my money, hope no one else does!

Both Veg - Nonveg quality is best.Chicken Banjara and Chicken Tandoori in Non veg section was tempting.In Veg catagory All Paneer Kabab are best for starters.To be honest i dont know do they have separated the Veg and Nonveg cooking section, but if you want me to look in to that then i will definitely visit once again to ensure thatThank you

It is a very cosy place for family and friends to hangout. Food is awesome specially for meat lovers. Ambience is also wada based theme. Great place for authentic marathi cuisine.

Actually it tastes good. One ☝️ should visit this restaurant once in his lifetime. My favourite place. True food 🥘 chicken 🍗 Good quality. As we all know our India 🇮🇳 is famous for spices this is the place where you get to know what is Indian food.

Went here with family. Overall, it was a quality experience. The ambience is unique and the location is on highway with ample parking space. The taste is unique (it seemed excessive spicy to us) & enjoyable. I think the staff should guide the customers since 80% of the dishes have unique names and a newcomer gets confused as to what to order.

Worst experience. Ambience is ok but the food quality is worst. Absolutely testless. Staff doesnt even know how to serve food. Total disappointment.

The place is simple but neat and clean. Interior is rustic and open you can feel some heat in the afternoon. The washrooms are clean and well maintained. For lunch we had gharguti chicken, roti and indrayani rice. Portion size is good for 2-3 people. The chicken was well cooked and quite tasty. Would love to try the place second time.

Infrastructure created by the hotel owner are really good, but the staff is not able to maintain the ambience cleanliness and hygiene, test is also just average. Cashier is busy with his friends, will not recommend to my friends unless, owners will work on improvement.

The interior, Ambience is good.Sadly the food quality is average.Had mutton alni and BiryaniA well cooked mutton is a heavenly experience. But here it was almost rubbery raw in Biryani. Alni was good, but there is still room for improvement. Mutton alni should be hot. Its universal law. We were served cold.Overall its ok ....was expecting WOW experience.

Ambiance is very good. I liked the interior and the overall theme. The food can be better in terms of taste. I know this is a place for non-veg lovers and we ate only veg food. Paneer masala and akkhaa masur which wasnt so great. Roti was good though. II thin I should try non-veg food and then update my review. The staff was courteous and nice.

Ambience is good but not the taste of food. Service is good. Its like they have thought only about interior decor not about the taste. Dhone wada name itself suggests that this place should serve some authentic maharashtrian dishes. But you only get paneer stuff on the menu card in vegetarian section. Menu card is also limited.
