As far as how they did the previous 2 years they filed my US income taxes, they did a bad job. They required an unreasonable amount of follow-up and a great many reminders to complete the work -still with a delay, that is. How well they do now, I dont know. Because after emailing them, then emailing them again, then requesting a call back from their website for the 3rd time; someone called me back. They said they would be sending me an email with the details they need. They didnt. I requested another call back on their website which got me nowhere. So today I called their office, demanded to speak to a manager. The person who responded identified himself as I am in charge of 6 offices, so I guess he did that to demonstrate what an important guy he is. The very frustrating conversation ended with the guy in charge of 6 offices telling me that they have a lot of customers. All in all, I was annoyed before I spoke to the guy in charge of 6 offices, now I am frustrated.Great job, guy in charge of 6 offices! Maybe one day you will understand why you can never, ever, not in a million years tell a client that they arent the only person who needs your help. I know that one day you will grow up as a manager and understand that people judge you as a professional not based on the number of offices you are in charge of but by how you messed up a very simple complaint from a client. And who knows; you can maybe even be in charge of 7 offices one day! I just hoped you would have been there already so I could give you my business today.

A bit slow service but did the job. I had to file my taxes, and they mostly dont pick up your phone. The actual task was done really quickly but the discussions got prolonged. And tax acknowledgment was given to me almost after a month.They do have corporate tie ups with most of the companies so i guess corporate tasks they must be doing well. Anyways neutral experience Id say.

Incompetent, inefficient and inexperienced people. Their staff rotates, so you never work with same person. I was assigned to a lady who was a nightmare. She made many accounting errors, sent me wrong links, gave me 0 advise and after sending them the money, didnt hear from her. So had to go into IT website and get my own acknowledgement. Her communication skills were completely lacking, no timely responses and we filed basic NRI taxes almost on day of extended deadline causing undue stress and needless panic. Would never recommend them as even the HR Indian managment that i Requested help from never came.

Wow...they made income tax filing so simple, I filed my income tax return through them for first time. You dont need to go to your adviser to submit all documents. I was having issue with capital gains through share trading and was worried it will create headache for me but adviser was very helpful with all the procedure, I uploaded all the documents once got my return filed.The guy who filed my return was excellent and helpful unlike my previous adviser :D

It is the worst company ever. Their MD is a dictator and is too arrogant. No breeding space for freshers. Their BD head (bangalore) thinks, one who talks too much is way too talented than others because she does the same 24/7. They make false promises to their customers and the most laughable thing is more than half of the reviews here are made by their current employees.

I have been filing my taxes with H&R Block for last 4 years.In 2014 and 2015, I filed my taxes myself and that was pretty easy, wherever i had a few queries, H&R Block team was there to help. I could file my taxes in 30 mins both the times. I got my refund in 2014 just in 6 weeks of my filing.In 2016, I thought of going for their assisted services at some nominal fees and that service was the best of any services I ever obtained. Value for money. All I had to do was submit a few documents and then they prepared my tax return and sent it back to me in 2 hours. When I approved it and it was filed within next 30 mins. It took me just 3 hours for end to end tax return filing. I was amazed with the speed with which they do it.In 2017, I got a notice for some reason (It wasnt really a genuine reason) and I was scared. H&R Block helped in taking care of that notice. All this happened without me having to visit their office or any income tax office.The professionalism exhibited by Ms. Madhuri (my tax expert) in getting my taxes filed was awesome.I would recommend everyone to e-file taxes with H&R Block.All the best H&R Block. This review is for H&R block Pune services ( Associate name -Priyanka Jhaver ). I have used their services multiple times, so will split my review in 2 categories1) Indian Income - Normal (1 Form 16, some FD and some other investment)For Normal ITR, they are ok. No issues here. But since it is simple, you can do it yourself and save the money.2) Indian Income plus any International IncomeUsed them for filing when my wife had international income and Indian Income. Paid 5000 plus for the same so that there is no issue with the ITR filing. Filing done but received a demand notice of 40k . Reached out to the associate (Priyanka Jhaver) for clarification and didnt get any response for over a month. Called multiple times , sent emails but no response. Had to ask my in-laws to check with the Income tax officials for the demand notice. No help from H&R block. They left us in lurch. We had to hire another CA to cross check the work. Later came to know that they have different department that deals with Income tax notices and they charge extra for assisting with notices. Great way to mint money H&R block !First file incorrect ITR and when the query comes back, stop picking up phone, dont respond back and then tell us that they have a separate department that deals with such issues and they charge more.Save your money and peace of mind and use some other normal CA, who can be reached out at a later stage.Note to H&R - Karma has funny way of finding your address!

Service is good , tax advisor was very co operative , but you fees are exorbitantly high , if I would have got it done by private CA it would have cost me at less than half , next time I will think twice , whether should I pay so much for only sophisticated service.

I paid 149 INR and after submitting the documents and speaking 3-4 times with their staff, decided not to file my taxes through them as I was not satisfied. The executive I spoke to was not well versed with the taxation as prior to my submission, I was reviewing and I found mistakes. They did not even have the courtsey to refund my money, although I never asked for refund. Not recommended. I wonder how the rating here is 4+
