Fantastic must visit place for great food and cocktails. Love their Tequila Sunrise and always return to have it whenever in town. Their portions are good and one dish part of a main course is good for two people to eat well. Prices are very pocket friendly and is the perfect place to hang out with family or friends.The place doesn’t require reservations and hss usually been easier to get a table during weekends too. It’s a quaint space with just the right level of good music playing, where people can converse and yet enjoy their meals and drinks.Friendly staff and the waiting period for food is also not long , just about 10 min or so.

Visited The Pasta Bar Veneto with my husband. It was my first time trying actual Italian food and my expectations were not let down. It was absolutely delicious! From the entree to the main course, we relished every bite. Would definitely visit this place if we decide to come to Pondicherry again.

This place catched my attention while I was strolling around white town. So, I decided to give this place a try. The ambiance was nice with some pretty good music but the service was very slow. Also The ravioli pasta here was a disappointment. It was undercooked. The focaccia sandwich was good though. The bread was fresh and crunchy. Overall, it was an average experience.

Taste is good...but these guys are thug...They charged 50rs for 20rs water bottle where Consumer rule clearly says you cant charge more than MRP. When I complained they said its restaurant charges. Then after threatening to complain they deducted..Not only this these guys charged me service charge which is 5%. This too is against consumer law...They removed it after complaint. Unprofessional attitude

What an amazing experience at The Pasta Bar Veneto. I visited this place with my wife and daughters. The staff is well groomed and hospitable, the variety in menu is excellent and food is delicious. The service tops the experience. This is a must visit for Italian cuisine. The best restaurant experience we ever had. We were served by Kamal who was very forthcoming in his recommendations and before leaving the owner Vinod came over to ensure we had a great time.

Ambience of the restaurant is good. Food usually takes a long time to be served. I ordered spaghetti pasta but they got penne instead but they later changed it but till that time my cold drink became warm drink😵.Menu card is very interesting as it has many little facts about Italy and its food and culture.Overall the place is very good for Italian cuisine.

This was my third visit to Pondicherry and I went to this place for the first time. Usually you have to wait to get a place because its always crowded. We ordered risotto di fungi that was nice and we ordered fries which they served with cucumber and carrot spread. Also we ordered pizzas and it was nice. We also ordered pesto pasta that was not at all good. We complained about that and the manager agreed to give some other item instead of that or to remove that from the bill. Ambiance and music everything was great.

The Pasta Bar Veneto is a great pasta place. We were really hungry early in the morning and nothing was really open, so around 11 am (the opening time for this restaurant) we hopped in and ordered a Garlic Bread and a Pasta. The pasta we ordered was somethjng quite different - the sauce was made out of sundried tomatoes and had a different color and texture. At first, it tasted weird but then slowly the taste grew upon our taste buds and we really liked it. It was something we had not tried before. They have a good variety of Italian dishes. The pricing was slightly high compared to the quantity served. The cheese garlic bread also tasted quite good!

Very good food at reasonable prices! Do try the Mud pie! Its absolutely fantastic. This is your typical hangout cafe. All the dishes taste good. Dont be afraid to try new ones, they end up tasting the best. One of my recent favourites is the nutty brown sauce pasta. The ambience is nice and lighting is as dim as it should be. A great place for lunch and dinner

Visited this cozy place in for dinner. Its close to Rock beach, good ambience, has amazing food and coffee. We ordered Pasta, which was perfectly cooked and well seasoned. Service was pretty decent. Overall it’s a good place to come with family and friends.

My husband and I visited the place on a Saturday afternoon. The ambience is lovely. We tried the mushro and cheese crotini as a starter with Green Apple Mojito and Tropical Fruit Punch mocktails. The crostini was crisp and yummy. The drinks tasted fabulous!Then we ordered Penne PrimaVera Panna. It was a creamy white sauce pasta with various veggies like sun-dried tomatoes, zucchini, broccoli, mushroom. The pasta was awesome.This place is a must try when in Puducherry.

Pretty rude staff. Not worth visiting. Very disappointed for such a hyped restaurant. We were turned away at the door. Not sure why. Felt discriminated and hurt. There was no reasonable explanation as to why when someone is walking up to the door and the sign was deliberately changed to closed. They didnt even let us step inside and it wasnt even that late. It was around 8:50 p.m. Hope this doesnt happen to any other tourists. Its not something that we dont get back home in Bangalore.

Really, really good food. This place was suggested to us by our Air BnB host. We were so happy to have dined in here that the next day we ordered food to our BnB from here. The first time we had Cannelloni pasta and the second time we had Lasagna. Both were finger-licking good!

As an Indian, I like spicy food, be it chaat or be it pasta/pizza. This place serves authentic italian food which is very plane for my spicy and pungent taste buds. pizza was very thin crust and pasta was very cheesy, so overall very well prepared and you should go if you feel typical Italian food is your thing

The service was horrible. The young guy was unable to understand English or Hindi. It was really difficult to place a simple order with him. It was one of the waiters who can just bring you the items you point to on the menu. The moment you ask a simple question they understand nothing or misunderstand everything. The food was also bad. I ordered Pasta Funghi. It came after 5 minutes. This showed that nothing was freshly made. And it tased like that. Pasta was overcooked and too soft. The sauce must have been waiting in a jar for days to be finally be served. The mushroom were tasteless. Altogether it tasted horrible. The only good thing: The water bottle they served was nicely cooled.

The pasta bar is good. We ordered corona and virgin coloda. Tasted amazing. The baked lasagna was good but cud have been better. The garlic bread were too small and i preferred calling it garlic bread sticks. Lasagna tastes best with garlic bread. Do give it a try when you visit it with frnds or loved ones. Ambience is not friendly as everyone stares a lot. Service took a bit longer then we expected. Expect a bit rush.
