Had a brilliant stay at Wunderhaus. The host is really friendly, and recommends the best restaurants and activities! They have 2 adorable kittens, and a lovely dog named speedy.Breakfast is served on the terrace, and its hands down one of the best meals Ive had in a really long time.

Okayish place to stay, rustic old school types. Chilled out ambience. Pet friendly. Kedar- the host lets you be and the place is all yours . Friendly place for kids too ! Tucked away in the midst of nature. Just a few mins from Auroville, a little away from the buzz of the city. Could be better maintained in terms of cleanliness, things like fans/lights in working condition, kitchen etc. Good place to hangout for 1-2 days.

It is a nice old structure with rustic feel . Since we had a big group of 8-10 people, we booked the entire place and it was quite fun . Not sure if it will be the same if anyone booked just one room. All rooms are quite different, one of the master bedrooms is quite huge with a huge bathroom, there is another big room with a curved wall , great for kids with a hammock inside the room and glittering roof .Please note that if you are going there with the perception of having all the facilities that you get in a hotel room like a soft mattress, snow white sheets and pillows, then you are in for disappointment.Also, there are quite a few pet cats and dogs who keep coming in and going out of the house so if you are someone who is scared of cats and dogs then this may not be an ideal place. Another thing to note that you should be carrying your own toiletries.The owner kedar and his helper Sugandhi are quite good and they will try their best to make your stay comfortable, however please dont expect that there will always be someone available at your beck and call as the helper is only there till 5:00 pm post which it is self service.They let us use their kitchen for our barbeque and other small cooking activities They are ok if you want to cook your own stuff.The breakfast is simple and is quite healthy as they try to use mostly organic stuff .Overall, this place is beautiful but lacks maintenance.With a little more maintenance it will become even better. However, it is still quite enjoyable and relaxing.

This is one of the most beautiful homestays, I have ever seen. Everything inside this house is handpicked with love. The best part is the vibe. Interiors are amazing and beyond imaginations. Highly recommended.

This guest house is so ethnic and beautiful that youll love to stay here as long as possible and they host some crazy party.

It was an amazing stay here! Loved the creative spaces and the peace at the property... Breakfast was awesome! You just wont feel like going outside if you are renting this place! Other amenities : swings, books to read, can use the fridge to stock your booze, can also use the stove for tea etc, terrace area open for chilling out, pet cat to play with. Wont think twice about visiting this place again!

It has been an absolute pleasure staying in Wunderhause. My 2nd visit to this property and definitely not my last! I found it to be a soul enriching experience living in such artistic and peaceful settings. The hosts Danny and Gagan are such friendly, nice guys and just brilliant company. Do visit this place if you are looking for an escape from a dull, boring existence. ❤️

I went with my son and wife and stayed there for two days, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. Mr Kedar the owner of the house, has taken a great effort to mix both old and new to the house. Rooms were comfortable with old fashioned cots and matresses. U will feel like home there. There are 6 rooms. There is a kitchen available. So at night if want to make something, then u are free to do so. Dinner u can take in the dinning table on the balcony. U can order ur food throgh Swiggy or Ubereats. Traditional breakfast will be served to you in the backyard with other guests. enjoy ur stay at Wunderhaus.
