The only place in this Earth, were I felt that Im with God. The students of Pondicherry University often come here to attend Holy Mass (English) during Sundays. There will be 2 Holy Mass during Sundays (08:00 am and 09:30 am). Also the Ashram has Holy Mass from every Monday to Saturday at 07:00 am.Dawned in the year 1999, the Ashram is now a shelter for about 50+ homeless childrens and children with AIDS (Boys and Girl children of 5-20 age group). The Ashram takes care of them including Food, Education and Boarding. It was started in 2006 as Shanthi Bhavan Childrens Home.This Ashram follows the Latin Rite and is run by the Brothers of St. John founded by Marie-Dominique Philippe, a Catholic Religious Order in the year 1975.The name Arul Ashram contains two words in which Arul designates both the Apostle John and Grace. Ashram in Sanskrit means Spiritual place and Community life.

This is a beautiful chapel run by priests from France. There is an orphanage in connection to the place. Its a good place to meditate and pray. The priests are very friendly and they are happy to show people around the place.

Doing great humanitarian service to abandoned HIV positive children by providing them medical Care and education

Arul Ashram is a care home for aids affected children and adults who are orphans or abandoned by their families. The inmates are given food, shelter and health care. The children are sent to local schools and are also given medical care. It is a calm and serene atmosphere at the Ashram always and the people there are very cordial in their attitude towards others.

Most positive place in Pondicherry. Arul asram is a Christian convent in which many of children find their way to life. The atmosphere of arul aram is an idol for simplicity. You can see the priests there with their complete definition
