Good beach area which is well maintained. Please dont litter the beach. Public toilets and dust bins are available.The Pondicherry pier, is quite a popular place and I think it is worth a visit to learn about the place, experience serenity and of course click some fabulous pictures/shoot some nice snippets. The pier where once the French boats docked, is now only a part of what it used to be before it was destroyed by the cyclone in the 1950s. As you can see in the picture, it’s not in the best condition anymore.

A Beautiful beach especially early morning sunrise and sunset time, itd be very great to watch 😍Very well maintained.It is not really a beach, it is a Water Front kind of a thing where we can sit on the rocks as shown in the pictures. A Must Visit in Pondicherry I can say!French constructions are amazing.There are few French Restaurants too! Enjoyed the place!

Sometimes waves are so heavy the water splashes on face. Its always windy there. With so many hawkers selling something or the other. Its a lively place to enjoy your solitude. Irony isnt it! 💞

Everything here is nice except the sun rays falling on us. It is very hot even if @ 6.30am in the morning. This place clean but crowded since early morning. Very nice place to enjoy the sun rise.

In this beach you can watch the beautiful of sun rise and in this side mostly fishing place for fisherman and you also enjoying this when you see the whole place and also light house in side of the lane. And during both the hours, entry of cars and bikes in banned on the promenade.In the evening, youll find a lot of drunk people walking on the promenade, chasing people and eve-teasing. It is also kept dirty as these drunkards throw their beer bottles on the promenade itself. But there is heavy policing throughout the day and especially in the evening and police is aware of such people causing nuisances.
