Pretty bad to be honest.In terms of disneylands, i only been to two so far, but I really suggest skipping this one.Aside from cultural things (you know, people filming/turning on lights on their phones during rides , jumping the queue etc) My main problem with shanghai disneyland are rides and theming. They suck and not up to par compared to other disney parks.Theming in park itself is just awful. Theres barely any though put into it and it seems to be rushed. For example, in tokyo one, the theming is so good that you can really believe youre not in japan but youre somewhere else, just purely on how good the theming in that park is done, theres a lot of themed buildings, you could see attention to detail, where shanghai one feels like rushed job. I say only one land , the toy story land, feels like they actually put some effort into making that land themed, everything else , when it came to theming , felt really effortless. Hell, i dare to say chinese amusement parks has better theming!Then another issue is the rides. Its heavily and i mean HEAVILY aimed at young kids. A lot of rides felt like dumbed down versions of japanese ones. For example, honey the pooh ride is just downgraded version of the one in japan (they completely cut out spinning part with mirrors and such, honestly a best part of the ride!!!) There are some improved rides like peter pan one, however, the improvements are rather barely noticable. A lot of the rides seemed very dumbed down to appeal for young kids (the cart ride, the water ride is extremely dumbed down). The only ride that felt was aimed for everybody/anyone thats not 8 year old) was Tron and maybe the obstacle course if you choose hard path. Which sucks because as an adult, you just gonna have a bad/boring time, something that japanese one managed to avoid by having a nice balance between rides for kids and rides for adults/everyone.And the worst part is theres very little rides to begin with!! The park is extremely small compared to others, with very little rides and none of the rides are even unique (tron is opening in US soon and the only thing that shanghai one has to offer that isint in other parks are obstacle courses)I would highly recommend just go to japanese one unless youre in shanghai and you have little kids with you.The only reason im giving 2 stars is because hotel and hotel staff were quite nice.Oh and the food sucks too. (Unlike japanese one)

A must see in Shanghai. Disney resort was breathtaking. The rides are worth every minute. Make sure to buy fast passes or premier access as the queues can become long. Ample shops and food outlets. The sights are brilliantly detailed, lots of photo opportunities.

Its a true Disney experience. Suggest you to stay for 2 nights to enjoy the full experience of Shanghai Disneyland. Dont forget to stay in one of the Disney hotels to enjoy character dining and magic hour

I’m not really interested in Disney, however my wife is obsessed; so I am interested in Disney.Be that as it may, this place was actually incredible. First Disney land I go to and I was extremely impressed with the amount of detail and overall extravagance of the resort. The hotel was amazing, staff were as helpful as possible (language barrier made it difficult to ask for a chemist without them thinking I’m on drugs) and the theme park was great fun!

It was a pretty ok experience, the rides are amazing!! The TRON ride was the most fun. However, I was very disappointed as unfortunately even though its Disneyland, you still cant escape homophobia, me and my girlfriend was left quite frustrated when Stitch disrespected our relationship.

Ive visited most of the parks (I only miss Orlando) and Shanghai is absolutely my favourite one! Clean environment, food food, friendly cast and amazing attractions and shows! English is understood at a basic level by everyone inside shops and restaurants, but a lot of cast members actually speak it very proficiently (better than me for sure xD). Ive visited 5 or 6 times now and I can only say good things about it!

This is the second time I come to here with my friends. Have a great time! if you come during summer holiday, better to buy the VIP tickets to save your time

Visited here with mom hubby and three kids. We stayed in the Disneyland Hotel for two nights and got two days tickets in the park. Had great time!Highly recommend to read some guide before visit so you can plan the trip more efficiently to avoid queues and enjoy the time to the most!Will visit again when youngest baby is getting older!

Some tips: (1) Purchase your tickets online before getting to the park; (2) Take the subway to the park - fastest transportation method in & out; (3) Arrive 1.5 hours prior to park opening; (4) Leave ALL purses & bags at home so you can use the “no bags” security line - MUCH shorter / faster; (5) Bring your passports (very important); (6) Purchase all your Fast Passes IMMEDIATELY after entering into the park - passes sell out within the 1st hour after park opens & you can only purchase them AFTER you enter the park - note you need them if you want to get on any good rides as wait lines will be over one hour long throughout the day; (7) Do lunch at the Cheesecake Factory located in Downtown Disney just outside the park - use their special exit which is found to the left of the main entrance as you entered the park - you can re-enter the park again at that same spot using your park tickets & the security lines at that entrance are very short. That’s it... Enjoy 😉!!

Very beautiful and fun place you should not missed when you are at Shanghai. Mostly 30 mins queue only.

The third appearance of the theme park in Asia other than the one in Tokyo and Hong Kong. You need to have the adequate financial resources in order to satisfy your happiness. You can pay to cut down waiting time.

Great experience for fun and spectacular landscape

So first things first, if you are a Westerner and not used to Eastern culture be prepared to get extremely frustrated at the queues, a) there is a lot of them, and b) personal space is non existent. But if you are okay with these two things then this is a great addition to the Disney east set of parks!Tron is probably now in my top 5 roller coasters I have personally ridden, and being a bit of a theme park junkie I have been on a fair few! From the themeing to the actual coaster are absolutely spot on, great acceleration, great G through shallow and tighter turns and great elevation changes.Pirates of the Caribbean is just WOW!! Disney need to learn a lesson here and change them all to the same style as this one! Not just the boring plodding boat ride here! The ocean entering and exiting scenes, where you are fully immersed in feeling like you are accelerating or falling without doing neither are just absolutely top notch! WELL DONE DISNEY!! WELL DONE!!Then we have soaring, wasnt impressed, I am going to Florida Disney World in a few weeks and hope the one there is better! or at least rode of the banshee is better. (being the same technology, also, I know Epcot has a soaring too so will go on that too)Roaring rapids at points was good, at others not great, with a fast pass worth it, with out, if I was to return to this park, which is highly likely with working in China a fair amount, I would not waste the time going back on it, same goes for the dwarves mine train. The swinging cars take a lot of the G forces out of the coaster but some really nice swooping lines, If single rider is working and you can cut the enormous queue down to the bare minimum its worth a ride but not with a wait of over 100 minutes.Buzz light year was quick and cheerful and actually I thought was better than the Paris equivalent.The one ride that really really took me by surprise was Rexs Racer! Great ride! Super enjoyable! Rode it twice even with an hour queue and no single rider line! really enjoyed it!Overall it was a great day! The parades were shorter than Florida in the past and Paris, but there is multiple of them. The firework show wasnt as good as Paris either.If you are a big Disney parks fan, when you walk in for me it was missing that WOW/ smile factor, I think it was the lack of Main Street USA like the others have, then the castle is a miss for me too, with not being able to walk from main street right through the castle, instead having to walk round it made me draw away from the castle. Also something else I have just realised why writing this, is that there was a lack of princesses, IF I was attending with my wife this would have made/ broken the park for her, as she is a fan of the princesses.Overall though an absolutely brilliant Disney day!! Disney has knocked it out of the park again!! I will be returning

Shanghai disney is huge in terms of size . VIsited in june which happens to be their peak period , so lots of visitors. We enjoy the TRON ride best. The pirates show is awesome . For kids , the seven dwarf ride is highly recomended . Be prepared to grab the highly coveted fast pass for favourite games . A day in the park may not be sufficient to play all the games . Transport wise this is easily accessible via metro . June weather was good , temperature about 24 degrees C .

Lovely place. Great system that links everything in one app. However the fast pass via app only managed to work once for us... By the time the show was over, all other fast pass was not available. Too many people. Queuing time was around 40 to 150mins for the big ones. The mazes and walk-through areas were 5 to 10mins. But we managed to meet Captain America and Spiderman. Dreams do come true at Disneyland.

Happiest place on earth. You need to have plan before visit here to avoid any inefficient time wasting.

I didnt enter the park, but I bought a souvenir at the World Shop. At the entrance to the area, there is a temperature measurement and confirmation of the health declaration QR code.There are many products in the store even under the corona. The price is the same as the Japanese shop.The cashiers clerk could only speak Chinese, but when I listened to the translation on my smartphone, he worked hard and smiled, and I was able to shop comfortably.

The last time I visited here, a lot of people behaved like animals and kept cutting in line. It was horrible. Some cast members were also probably not paid enough to smile or at least be polite.There are so many people who jump in the queue, and many parents let their children run arbitrarily regardless of teaching. The employees are probably not paid enough, no matter how bad their faces are, their speeches are rude and terrible.

Compared to Japan, there are fewer otaku, so you can enjoy the character gratification considerably. The place and time when the character comes out is generally fixed, so be sure to check with the cast. The attraction uses the latest technology and is of high quality. I wonder if there are so many souvenir variations compared to Japan ... Im still a new park, so I hope to see more in the future. Meals are usually missed but can be eaten normally. The price may be a little higher than in Japan. If you stay at the Disney Hotel, you can enter as early as an hour, and you can take a free round-trip bus, which is the best in Cospa. It is a cast response, but it has improved significantly compared to when I went in 2018. I want to go again ~

If you buy the kkday ticket in Taiwan first, you have to wait in line to go through the baggage security check, and then go to the ticket office to give the ticket holders passport, passport and order barcode to successfully enter the park. You can download the official Shanghai Disney app in Taiwan first, and then come back after successfully registering as a member (because of the need to receive SMS certification, which is more inconvenient overseas). The fast pass on mobile phones was easy, but quickly disappeared.The quality is lower than Disney in Japan. Buzz Lightyear and Pooh are very low level if they know Japan. Tron is the only place here, a futuristic production. And although I just ran at high speed, I was afraid, but it was fun.The food isnt good, the tea is sweet and red beans? Visited around January 2, 2020.It was empty for rattling. 15 minutes for baggage inspection and ticketing.Once inside, even Soarin was waiting 15 minutes.Famous Caribbean pirates, dwarf coasters and Tron coasters enjoyed almost no waiting and no stress.There is a Marvel corner, where you can take photos of a thin Spider-Man with a fan service, a quick captain America, and a twink like star prince.The food in the restaurant was not very good. There is an area with many shops outside the park, so it seems better to eat there. There is also a large Superdry store, perfect for souvenirs.Popcorn has a container only for Shanghai Disney, and it was good to be able to put it in full.

There are many attractions to enjoy like walking in the park, and it was like Disneyland for elementary school children.By the time you enter the park, you will be lined up to receive a baggage inspection, and after that, you will line up to enter the park.By the time I entered the park, I was exhausted.As a point of caution, large luggage can not be checked in the park, and after baggage inspection, you can only leave it at the luggage storage on the right.Please be careful.Bringing food and drinks was OK. I went on Monday and it only took an hour and a half to enter, but the wait time for the ride was less than an hour. Evening Cinderella Castle Fire Show is a good seat two hours ago if you do not sit, you will not see the castle and only see the phone screen.

Like other Disney parks, the experience is impeccable. The only thing I dont like is that even if there is a smoking area, there are still tourists who smoke while walking. It is more desirable to be able to ban smoking or set up an indoor smoking area.

The quality of the attraction is high, and it is less crowded than in Japan, so you can enjoy it in one day. However, the quality of the cast and guests is unfortunate compared to Japan, so it needs patience.

This place is different for Chinese and foreigners. I wasnt originally a Disney fan. This photo is just a pat. I can see that the position I am standing far away from the animated character, there is a staff member (the security guard wearing cyan clothes on the left side of the picture) Let me go. Seeing the foreigner in the picture, she also took photos with the dog, and nobody cares. Really ridiculous!The security guards who entered the park also had a very bad attitude. The trash is terrible. .Guest that throws away to there even though there is a trash can nearby! Culture Shock.If you line up in a row, youll be surprised at the level of overtaking and closeness of people. I hate queuing, but kids like it.

It was originally possible to go to the hotels special passage early in the morning to play first. The result was that I missed the row for 4 hours to play the sky - flying over the horizon, the sea is cool!

I was immensely disappointed. At Disney Land you can expect a huge leisure park with extraordinary attractions. The positive reviews of others, I can not understand. They write that one should come several times to see everything. Thats right. But only because you can hardly do anything. The park is rather no. If you go from one side to the other, you are in 10 minutes through. The core problem is the few attractions. There are only about 10 rides. If you do not believe it, you can install the APP and see it there and the waiting times. Incredibly what is also listed as another attraction, such as a photo with Cinderella. But then you have to queue but 40 minutes. My expectation would be that there are Disney characters everywhere. But unfortunately it is different. We were there on a weekday and had been there for almost 8 hours and had been in only 3 rides. For example, we waited 30 minutes to drive 1 minute in a simple childrens carousel. As you can see the ratio 30: 1.My recommendation is to go with the money somewhere else (eg Happy Valley or ride a rollercoaster in the Century Park). This is much cheaper and much more important, you do not waste your free time.

The only fun, collect the seal... buy a passport in the shop that just entered the door, and then you can get a badge after the entire amusement park is covered. It is still very memorable...

Disneyland is good but Chinese interrupt OUT

Whether it ’s summer vacation or not, it ’s just waiting for you. It takes about an hour to get in after entering the subway, and there are about 30 people taking pictures with characters.

The park is very beautiful compared to TDR.
