Thank you Pranzi for the BEST wedding we could have ever asked for. After touring venues last summer during the height of Covid restrictions we gave up on that idea and decided on hosting a backyard reception instead. I have to say I was very unhappy at that time to change my expectations and settled in to find all of the necessary pieces myself. And then I found Pranzi. They had everything we needed in house run by an absolute pro, Lisa. We consulted with Lisa and found out they had beautiful modern rentals and decor, great service and delicious food - all for a beyond reasonable cost in one place. I can’t believe how lucky we got. My family is very busy and having a company like Pranzi was just so convenient. Donna was so accommodating to our requests even down to the last minute brunch we decided to go through with. Our food was fantastic and the tent and decor was beautiful. I ended up enjoying the backyard planning experience more than I probably would with a venue, getting to choose everything custom to build a vision, right down to the napkins! I would definitely recommend Pranzi again and again. Thank you!!

We cannot thank Pranzi enough for what an amazing day our wedding was. We were a bit nervous starting to plan a wedding at a venue that was just a location, and from out of state. From the first very first conversation we had with Lisa and her team, throughout the two years of planning and to the final day we were always assured that every detail and logistics would be handled to perfection. We had the pleasure of working with Kelly Jackson as our day of coordinator and we cannot recommend her enough! She helped coordinate the day of schedule, rentals, personal decor, catering and the florals for our beautiful day. Kelly’s calm and positive demeanor throughout the day made our whole process enjoyable and like she was one of our friends helping us on our big day. We didn’t have to think of or worry about anything the day of and she consistently reassured us that everyone would run smoothly and it absolutely did! Throughout the past year with COVID there were a lot of uncertainties for many couples and companies, but Pranzi was right there to answer any questions we had and reassure us that our wedding would be handled. Kelly, Lisa and the whole Pranzi team exceeded all our expectations and we highly recommend them to anyone and everyone!

Pranzi catered my wedding on the 18th of this month and they were INCREDIBLE. From the start with booking all the way through the wedding Lisa, Donna, and Kelly were amazing to work with. They were there (promptly) with any questions we had, saw (and executed) our vision, and helped make the wedding planning process so much easier. Katie was our Event Manager day of and she along with her day of team hustled and made the day run so smoothly, I couldnt have asked for a better team to make our wedding happen. I first heard about Pranzi from the owners of Tyrone Farm, and when I photographed a wedding there, I was so blown away by the professionalism and care that Nicole and her whole team had! There are just some catering companies that have workers that just dont seem to care about the honor of serving guests and vendors, but Id have to say that the Pranzi team was so great at taking care of the needs of the guests, and the couple! They also did the cake, and florals, in addition to the awesome food!

Pranzi was great for my sons wedding over rainy memorial weekend. Weather could not have been worse for an outdoor field wedding under tent. Service and equipment were spectacular. Tents were clean, elegant and top quality. Fully equipped with heat, lighting, dance floor. The bad weather had no effect on the event thanks to Pranzi. Highly recommend. Entire staff a pleasure.

Pranzi did an amazing job last week with my sons wedding. With the pandemic and the wedding moving from last Sept to May 1, 2021 there was so much uncertainty. With the help of a rental of a private venue and the expertise of Pranzi it was the most beautiful, perfect wedding.Within three months time Pranzi pulled it all together and did a phenomenal job - the food was excellent - the service was excellent and the set up was absolutely gorgeous.Highly recommend Pranzi❤️

It was our pleasure to be guests at a family wedding in Newport, RI, catered by Pranzi Catering. The food was out of this world! Ultimate appetizers were served including perfectly cooked, crispy bacon-wrapped scallops and delightful, jumbo shrimp cocktail. Small plates were available, beautifully accommodating for guests to simply pick up and enjoy. They were filled with prosciutto, a variety of cheeses, marinated artichoke hearts, green olives, etc. Highlights of the dinner were filet mignon, cooked to the appeal of almost every steak lover and stacked, farm-to-table, vegetables that were flavorful and not mushy.The combination of the elegant decor, delicious food, professional & accommodating wait staff, came together to create a perfect, memorable event.The decorations were elegant and tastefully done, setting the stage for a classy, festive wedding. I am looking forward to hosting a future event, just to book Pranzi Catering!

I was planning my sons first birthday party . Michaela was amazing to work with . Her customer service is top notch . I had asked for the food to be delivered for 2:30PM on Sunday because my son was turning one , and the venue we worked with couldn’t have an open flame due to children . The food had arrived an hour earlier than what I wanted , I paid $45.00 for a “set up and delivery fee “ per the contract . The associates had dropped all the food off at the door - non setup . When I contacted the owner she had explained due to covid some people request for it to be dropped off . I did not request that , and for future reference the sales associate should ask if they want a set up service . All business blame covid for their faults and it’s unfair . The meatballs were black and burnt , the chicken was dry . The soda arrived in water , not ice . For a catering company you would expect fresh ice for the soda , not a pool of water . I called the owner since my sales associate was on vacation and it had the owners phone number in the email to contact . She was so nice and wanted to rectify and explained she was very happy I called cause she needed to know these things . I called today to follow up she was so rude and she thought a refund of $100.00 was fair . How. ? Half of that was a set up fee that I did not receive . I explained to my sales associate and she told me that the refund for everything would go back on my card . Clearly they can’t get their communication or act together . It’s not the point of the money , but for a first birthday you are feeding mostly adults , it was an embarrassment . The only thing this catering company can prepare is salad and fruit .

We are so thankful we chose Pranzi to caterer our wedding day. Lisa and the staff were extremely helpful in planning and re-planning the event with COVID. The food was great! The service, including our wedding day coordinator, was impeccable. They helped guide us with everything, gave their recommendations and respected our choices. If we had to make this decision again knowing what we know now, we would definitely choose Pranzi again. They helped to make our wedding day perfect!

Our entire experience with Pranzi was like a dream. We are so grateful to Lisa and her hardworking team for throwing us the best party of our lives — our wedding.Food was our number one priority and they absolutely delivered! Now, nearly six months later, our guests still rave about it. They couldn’t stop talking about the Del’s lemonade Pranzi served in pretty glasses as people arrived. The appetizers and our signature cocktail were also a big hit. For dinner, the portions were incredible. No one left our wedding hungry, that’s for sure. From the trio salad to the pasta course (what can we say? Were Italian!) to the mouthwatering mains of lamb, risotto, and chicken -- everything was cooked perfectly and hot. We skipped cake so Pranzi also set up a gelato bar for us. Shoutout to the girls scooping gelato - everyone said they were super nice! When we received our wedding pictures, we were honestly disappointed there wasn’t enough photos of the delicious food.We decided to celebrate the wedding at a private residence and Pranzi took care of every single detail. Through them, we were able to rent beautiful wooden cross back chairs, tables, linens, the whole nine yards. It was an incredible experience to walk into our reception area to see our huge clear top tent, dressed up with twinkle lights and chandeliers. It was magical. We appreciated the Pranzi team coming out to our property multiple times to plan with us and essentially, build a wedding venue entirely from scratch.Admittedly, we were skeptical that a company could do everything well - catering, rentals, and coordination? Pranzi absolutely aced it. Our wedding day was all outdoors on the hottest day of the year(!) yet the entire staff was smiling and friendly the entire time. We had heard so much advice about hiring a separate wedding coordinator but Lisa ensured us that it was unnecessary. She was right. Our day-of coordinator through Pranzi was an absolute rockstar. She made sure we were fed, happy, and never without a drink! We simply can’t say enough good things about Pranzi.

I had Pranzi cater my wedding reception. After having to postpone due to a family emergency, o found them to be very flexible and professional. I did not lose any money that I had already paid. They were EXTREMELY accommodating to my husband’s family from Peru, making sure there was Spanish-speaking staff to communicate with them and making sure they were comfortable. I 10/10 would recommend for any event- their results are above and beyond what I could have dreamed of.

Unbelievable catering company, simply the best. I went to a 60th anniversary party, not one thing to complain about from the appetizers to desserts. The meal was fantastic, the waitstaff was fantastic and the anniversary/wedding cake was to die for, in other words FANTASTIC! I only wish I was planning an event so that I could hire them.

I am so grateful to Lisa and everyone at Pranzi Events for my daughters beautiful wedding. Because of the coronavirus, we had to switch our original plans and decided the only way to go forward was with an outdoor wedding in our backyard. Pranzi was recommended to us and I am so happy with every aspect of our event. Pranzi put this wedding together in one month!!!! The tent with draping and string lights was absolutely gorgeous. The tables, chairs, china and linens were beautiful. The dance floor was awesome with plenty of space to dance. We were just blown away by the food and flowers. Every single person expressed how delicious and plentiful the appetizers, entrees, and desserts were. My daughter wanted a very different look of flowers on her row of tables rather then just the greenery with flowers and hurricane candles throughout. She wanted different sized and shapes of bud vases with different flowers in each with greenery throughout. She also wanted different colored tapered candles in gold candlesticks with votives throughout as well. I cannot express how absolutely stunning the tables were. Her bouquet and the rest of the bridal parties flowers were exquisite. Lisa delivered her vision to perfection. Not only is Lisa attentive to every detail, she understands every aspect of a wedding event. Nicole was our onsite manager and I had very little interaction with her throughout the night and that is a testament to her flawless management of the event. I did not have to worry about one thing and just enjoyed my daughters wedding! From the setup and breakdown crews, all were exceptional and so kind. We just had the best experience with Pranzi and I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to anyone. Thank you Pranzi for making our daughters wedding a very special day to remember.

Not a reliable company booked a tent table and chairs over a month ago for an event this week and they canceled the week of.

Appalling! I attended a wedding this past weekend that Pranzi catered. Guests were given half full cups of soup, literally a DROP of dressing for a salad, two tablespoons of butter to share at a table of eight people and the entrees of chicken and short ribs were HORRID!! When asked for more butter, we were told we were not allowed the two tablespoons. The table sizes requested by the father of the bride were not provided which meant we were sat so close, there wasn’t elbow room! They ran out of wine glasses so we were provided sangria in plastic cups for a second serving! I would NEVER recommend this caterer for ANY type of venue, especially a wedding! Absolutely horrible experience as a guest at one of many weddings!

Emailed Lisa (owner) last year at this time, I had two events that I needed catering for with Spring 2020 dates. Lisa never responded. It could be because I was a past employee and we decided to part ways (the culture wasnt for me) and upon parting Lisa said directly to me that she considered me a friend. When she didnt respond, I took that as a sign that she didnt consider us friends. Then Covid hit and my events were postponed.

Pranzi was nothing short of AMAZING for our wedding! We had to change our plans due to COVID and decided to have a smaller wedding in my parents backyard. Having to change our plans just 4 months before our wedding, I wanted to keep it as simple as possible and its great that Pranzi handled everything for our wedding and made it so easy. We used them for rentals, food/bar, and florals. Being in the industry, I had high expectations and they delivered on everything. I worked with Lisa M on catering and Marissa on our rentals leading up to the day. Donna answered all my questions and helped us square up our final details the week leading up. My husband and I arent big cake people, so we wanted to do a crepe cake. We tried it at the tasting and he loved it. I dont really like sweets and found the filling to be too sweet for me. I asked about other fillings and Lisa suggested nutella, but my husband doesnt like chocolate. Knowing he would enjoy the leftovers I told Lisa to just stick with the original filling. She made a note to the chef to ask for it not to be so sweet. When we did the cake cutting I was so surprised that they came up with a different filling that we both absolutely LOVED. It was perfect.On the day-of Lisa N was our coordinator. I cant sing enough praises for her. She was amazing with keeping things on timeline. Everything looked beautiful and was set up so nicely. Every time my drink was empty, Lisa was already delivering me a new one. She even replaced it once when she saw my ice had melted. She kept checking in with me to make sure I was all set and was so sweet.Our friends and family RAVED about the food and how beautiful the décor was. It was just the perfect day all around and I cant thank the Pranzi team enough for being a part of our day!

I was a late addition to a wedding taking place in midst of quarantine season and I have to tell you I could not have been more satisfied by the efforts of the staff assigned to take care of all who attended. From the choice of gluten-free, vegan and carnivore appetizers, the cocktail hour could not have been better. The servers were quick to empty a tray and return with a fresh and full one. All neatly displayed on the polished stainless steel tray. There was buffalo cauliflower, roasted mini potatoes, a coconut crusted chicken, chocolate covered strawberries and dumplings, something for everyone.The spinach salad spritzed with cranberries and apple slices to start the meal was as good as it gets. As for the main course, I had requested the filet mignon fully expecting just an overcooked piece of meat I would have gotten at a diner. I couldnt have been further from the truth on this. What I was served was a filet that melted in my mouth like it had been prepared at a 5-star restaurant and not a tent in neighborhood backyard. I am not 100% on this but I believe it had a maple glaze and cracked peppercorn seasoning. It was complimented with an assortment of nicely arranged vegetables.I also cant say enough good things about the staff, they were quick to refill a water pitcher and diligent without being imposing when it came to clearing plates for the next course to be served. If you have an event coming up, this is definitely a company to reach out, from what I experienced I doubt youd be anything but impressed.

Their food was disappointing. they gave every table (8 people) to share 1 little container of butter, 1 drop of dressing on 2 cucumbers in a salad, and soup cups were half full. they ran out of drinking glasses. chicken was horrendous.

Wow wow wow...still amazed by the incredible work and food! We are beyond grateful to everyone at Pranzi for their incredible work from Lisa to Laura to Nicole to the entire staff. They blew us away with the attention to detail and caring about how my new husband and I experienced the day. We actually ate during our wedding due to their coordination!! The only thing I would change was the schedule but that was my own choice and add another heater outside for our venue! We also had their DJ (Mike) who did a fabulous job! Thank you to Pranzi and all their incredible team members for making our wedding day spectacular! Highly recommend!!

My daughters wedding was a wonderful day .Their showroom is very nice for planning, ideas, and the company offers a variety of services . The food at the tasting was excellent. The wedding was a beautiful event. The tent looked great and the food was excellent. The sweetheart table & guest tables looked really pretty and the lounge furniture & photo booth were both a huge hit .I was disappointed with event manager on day of the wedding. She was present but not aware . Attention to detail was just average. Although the staff was friendly, the onsite communication with venue was lacking. The heaters in the tent were never turned on and it was very cold. The event manager should have NOTICED the room was very cold, and at least attempted notify someone to assist with the situation, but it was ignored. A guest assisted with the heaters on his own, the situation could have been avoided. Although the food was excellent not all (75 )guests received their meal warm and both the bride & groom had to send send their food back to be heated. They needed more servers. The smaller flower pieces (the parents wristlets) were child size and wilted (that is being generous).

Shelf life for customers- last event was less than par - cold hamburgers, no customer service after event. Totally disappointed. Been a customer for years - yet to get a call to address concerns from my event. Lost customer service here by owner! Not good!

I just attended a wedding at Glen Manor in Portsmouth catered by Pranzi. I found their stsff yo be top notch, the 2 female bartenders were terrific. The food optiond were chicken, fish and vegan, all were cooked well, could have been a little hotter, and the staff was efficient with water and rolls replacement. The wait staff was very pleasant, and the wedding itself ran smoothly. I would recommend Pranzi for a catering event.

What a frustrating event with Pranzi. Extremely low class. Six years of being a professional wedding photographer and I have never been more disgusted by the food I was served (see pics) for $100 / person charged to the couple. That is my main concern - they are scammers who charged the couple way more than the $3 of food the vendors were actually served. I am so eager to tell the couple who hired us that they got sooo ripped off by the five vendor meals they paid for, but I dont want to ruin their lovely wedding day. Extremely disorganized staff and vendors were told six different times by six different people to come get food from the buffet (two 3/4 empty tin buckets covered with tinfoil with vendor written in sharpie, we had to walk into the crowded kitchen with people shouting to serve ourselves and had to beg for forks haha). My meal was rice. $100 a person is the cheapest option per plate, I repeat. For rice. Thats $500 Pranzi scored to serve vendors rice and a few pieces of chicken that sat out for a while. Jesus. I would have asked the couple to NOT buy me a vendor meal and give me cash so I could order a filet minion from a real restaurant in Providence to the venue and eat that for dinner. I am absolutely a wedding snob as Ive been to over 200 but oh my god Pranzi is so low class. Went to get a glass of house red wine at the open bar and they allowed a WEDDING GUEST buy me a glass of wine because they wanted to change me $18! Wow! And my assistant and I had to move the cake table to the center of the dance floor for cake cutting because no staff was anywhere to be found. Ive worked at some really trashy venues and had that kind of thing happen but this was at a RI mansion, big bucks. Theyre on my never work with list. If you care about your vendors, your guests or your event, please dont hire!PS to other wedding vendors out there... its probably a good idea to be kind and accommodating to other vendors... so we refer you. My business page is #1 on Yelp on Boston and well... all my couples will know not to hire you. Just a thought! Ive never reviewed another vendor before ... that bad. Good luck!
