Always amazing food and service from this place every time! Ive ordered here more times than I can remember and is the only Indian takeaway I will go to.Front of house is always kind and welcoming, helps you with dish choice if unsure on what to have and will accommodate any request you have on the order no problem.Cant recommend enough!

This may be the best food in all of Preston. Not only is it the best takeaway Indian, it beats out almost all of the restaurants in the area. The prices are reasonable, the spices are strong, and they have a humongous menu with dishes that are not commonly offered. They can also make your food extremely spicy, or extremely mild. Their naan is perfect, their pilaf is soft. Overall, this is a one stop shop for your takeaway curry! Dont be afraid to order stuff youve never heard of, everything is fantastic. Highly recommend.

Food is outstanding meat is very nice love the garlic nan bread ordered few times.

Half of the order missing cant get back in touch due to no phone lines and not traveling from Penwortham to complain ordered chicken tikka got prawn something, ordered 4 poppadoms got 3, ordered spring rolls didnt get them ordered two plain naan breads and got something else, got chicken pakoras which is didnt order and other stuff I didnt order, order was placed at 18:03 and didnt get the food until 19:40, was first time visiting and wont be going back, see enclosed picsI replied to the owners comment and havent had a reply, here is my replyHi,Thanks for taking time to reply to my review on Google maps.I understand that you was busy on new years eve, but I also waited over 1 hour for my food, it was promised to me at 7pm but I didnt get until 730, which I would accept, but when you get only two. Best Indian food not only in Preston but entire Lancashire. Great quality and taste. Despite being a takeaway they will give even big restaurants run for their money. The staff are very friendly and caring. They can adjust the dish as per your liking of hotness.

First time we have ordered from here, we usually go to cinnamon spice where has always been our favourite indian.I placed order online at 6.05pm went to collect from the shop at 6.30 waited 10 minutes but that was fine. The delivery driver gave me some sanitiser to put on while i was waiting.The food was amazing there was no grease whatsover in the madras curry we ordered and the meat was tender, chips was crispy and fluffy, rice was fluffy, samosas and bhajis was fresh and crispy.Everything all in all was lovely 5 stars from us we will be going there from now on.Thank you very much

We ordered one of the banquet meals for two from Amonbagh takeway again last night; once again the food was outstanding, very very tasty, cooked to perfection with excellent portions of everything, we even saved some for today there was that much. Well done Amonbagh on serving us another 1st class meal, your reputation and superb reviews are well deserved!!

Really lovely food, great flavours, and friendly staff, would recommend

Ordered food at 8.30 and arrived at 10.30, took 2 hrs. Have an email to confirm this. They completely ignored the fact that it took 2 hours and lied about food been ordered later. They are misleading and not trustworthy.When food eventually arrived it was tasteless with no flavour, nothing to do with ordering mild or hot. Never been so disappointed in a takeaway that was very expensive and supposed to be gourmet. My main was a Medium Tikka King Prawn Balti Massala and was completely tasteless, we ended up throwing it all away in frustration. Raised my complaint with takeaway and cant say they made much effort, very blaise attitude and ignorant.

Me and partner have visited Amonbagh countless times over the years and had always found the food delicious and the service great, but since moving to further away hadnt visited in a while.Last night we ordered after I finished work, as neither of us had eaten all day decided as a treat to have Amonbagh delivered, we ordered on their website at around 10:10pm (while there website said they were still open till 11pm) and sat to waiting, as wed received a confirmation email almost instantly! As the time creeped on, we were starting to get a suspicion that we were going to receive the food, we tried calling at 11:20pm (well after the 59 minute delivery time stated on the website) but got no reply.If they were unable to process the order, it would have been better to receive an email saying that they werent able to accept it at that time than leave us there expecting some food to be delivered

Very disappointed with our meal tonight poppadoms where old and tasted awful we put them in the bin didnt order any chunky etc lamb was tuff very disappointed we never use any other take away put will be Trying others now been a customers for over 5 years

Absolutely amazing delivery from amonbagh last night. Curries were delicious. Best in preston.

Food was ok, service and other aspects were terrible. Better options available.Ordered pickup for set time, had to wait 30 mins. No apparent concern for social distancing for customers. Was reluctantly offered a partial refund but due to the attitude and to protect my family I wouldnt step through the door to collect it.

Wasnt happy with my order

Ive eaten from here before always been very good . Tonight was different I ordered my meal online as usual then go to collect. 18.15 I ordered the meals . Within seconds your is being dealt with. I leave the house half an hour later get to Amonbagh . waited another 40 minutes for the the food get home to nice hot plates just as well . Food was loop warm ??? Nan bread was cool parts of the meal where missing too . Reordered the the items then trying to charge me again. Not good service at all dont care not bothered we have your money good bye never again

I called in tonight, dont eat many takeaways, but had a craving for a chicken tikka naan kebab. It wasnt on the menu but they were more than happy to supply the tikka & a curry sauce and naan with a nice little salad for me to put together.The tikka was lovely, plenty of chicken. The naan was a great size, and the sauce supplied was very nice medium heat. To be honest the meal could have made two kebabs but being ravenous I managed to shift the lot, but tasting great also helped.Great friendly service and was ready to collect in no time at all. 👍

Not had a takeaway in 3 months and saw this takeaway had amazing reviews so thought I’d give it a try. I was not disappointed. The food was lovely. I ordered online called to find out the time for collection and it was spot on. 10 out of 10 for collection in these trying times. I felt really safe with the social distancing put in place. Hand sanitizer as you go in and they even open the door. Highly recommend

Read all the rave reviews about this place and although were out of the delivery area we were prepared to travel to try it out. Really disappointing. Ordered a mild and medium curry, both were really bland, no flavours at all and no hint of any spice. The spicy poppadom had the most flavour. Samosa and onion bahji were good but nothing worth going back for. Shame as there is no good Indian near us, we continue our hunt!for a decent one to become a regular.

Alloways great food and good service best in Preston

Been awhile now as my once top notch Indians have seemed to slip off the quality step. Amonbagh I tried few weeks ago and been back twice more. Each time excellent and reminded me when my old haunts attained the same standard of moorish taste.

It’s okay but nothing special , the fact that it is considered the best Indian in Preston does a disservice to other Indian takeaways. I have had my fair share of Indians and this wouldn’t be my go to. It’s not bad it’s just not great

Called in tonight for the first time, they were extremely busy, I ordered the munch box £21.85, came with sides of salads and dips, it was huge, could have fed 4 comfortably, I will certainly be back to try other items on their menu.

Our Sunday nights in takeaway is not the same without Amonbagh. Highly recommended. Top class service to go with the first class food. Best Indian in town!

Best curry in preston

Been going here for years. Staff are always happy to help. They make any concoction of curry u like. They make it mild for the kids. Always ask how u are and how’s the family. The food is fantastic with a wide range. If you’re unsure they will ask what kind of thing u like and will recommend things they think u will like.

Husband got his food from here tonight, as usual it was faultless. Clean place, nice staff and always excellent food. His chilli phall was hot hot hot just how he likes it 👍🏻🌶🌶🌶👍🏻

Amazing food, it was our first experience of Amonbagh tonight and we are very impressed. By far the best Indian food I have ever tasted. The open plan kitchen means you can watch them prepare your food and the staff were so friendly. I am very picky about Indian food, as I have had some bad experiences, however I would 100% recommend Amonbagh.......Perfect.

To anybody wanting to be disappointed this is the most over rated Indian I have stepped foot through , forgot something of my order over priced , got it home and the keema rice had hardly any meat in , the curry that I ordered wanted to be medium spiced , and it came mild , the naan was tough to chew through , I rung up to explain that I wasn’t happy and they was only willing to give back a percentage of the bill as some of the food was touched. As I entered the restaurant i also noticed there was a build up of curry all over the splash back of the kitchen were the chefs was cooking. 🤢

Tried here last night for the first time. I honestly dont know what all the fuss is about. Was very disappointed after ready all the rave reviews. Ordered online, which dosent tell you how long before you can collect your order. Was an hour before it was ready. It was luke warm, mixed byriani was mostly prawns and chicken no lamb at all. Curries were very dry. Sorry i wont return

First tried Amonbagh 12 months ago - and I havent been anywhere else since. The best Indian in Preston by a country mile and one of the best I have had full stop. Great choice on the menu and if youre struggling to choose just ask for a recommendation.

Phoned to order a takeaway last nite, was asked to hold a min while he dealt with an order, was on the phone waiting 25mins then the phone was put down, then could not get through again, what an absolute joke, in the end ordered through the web site, in the order was Chicken Tikka Passanda, which was completely tasteless, 1st and last time for me here.

Such a fantastic takeaway, you really cant get any better in the Preston area and I have tried a few. Staff are really friendly and take time out to help you choose a dish to suit your palette.

Second time order wrong charged but didnt receive what ordered or paid for. I was going to let it go the first time but its a joke. Called tgem no offer of refund just we will sort you out with main meal. Not good enough. Weve been going for years.

This has got to be the best takeaway I have ever eaten so far, the service and team in house are a delight and make your order to fit your taste buds,Amonbagh have recently started a delivery service and it couldn’t be any better and the staff that have been chosen to do this job are great too,So if you ever feel like you need some decent Indian food then amonbagh is the place to go friendly staff all round, well presented delivery drivers, and the manners from these guys are absolutely top notchWell done amonbagh and il be ordering again soon.

Not your average take away, the food here is perfect every time, and you are asked how hot you like your food which is nice! All fresh quality ingredients and you can even watch your food been cooked from fresh, ite great to see the lads doing their work too! The host and manager are always friendly and up for a chat, theres even a coffe machine for a complimentary drink! My favorite and only curry place in Preston!

Best India takeaway in England without a shadow of a doubt!

First timer here ... staff were warm and welcoming offering refreshments whilst waiting and opening door on leaving and referring to me with my first name - a personal touch.Food was ok, the family seemed to enjoy - perhaps I will try another more familiar dish next time...Only problem - I was over charged or my order misheard as Id asked for chicken and got tikka, I asked for two naan breads but got three, Id asked for 4 popadoms but got 6, Id asked for sweet pickle and mango dip but got 2 mint sauces. I worked out the cost of what Id ordered and it should have come to £31.20 and it came to £37+Im willing to give them another try as long as this slight error is rectified on my next visit ☺️Thank you,Donna

Best indian takeaway for miles

Shame its a bit far from where I live. Made the effort and trip to get it but was worth it in the end. Will be going back again.
