Great taste but unfortunately the spicy declared food isnt that spicy
We had a so-called vegetable platter (for two) which consisted of papadam, small salad and vegetable soup as appetizers, the good-sized dishes, and a small dessert, all for 30€, without drinks. We took one of the main dishes home for tomorrow, because we didnt want to overeat. All was very tasty. Good value for your money!
IT IS SIMPLE TO WRITE A REVIEW -- Singapore excellence !
This place offers both indoor and outdoor dining. Food is good, and staff is friendly. They can even prepare the items which are not in the menu, if you can tell the name of the dish. Overall a very good experience.
Sweet service and excellent food 👌
On our last two visits we were placed next to other patrons which was much closer than the 1.5 meter rule even though plenty of other table free.Service is friendly and prompt but yet again none of the waiters bothered to wear masks .Though i am not an aficionado on Indian cuisine I know what chicken is and their version of poultry meat less than satisfying to say the least.
The food is very good at a great price. The ambience is cozy with beautiful decor and the service is excellent. Very friendly and cozy place.
Pleasant ambience. Nice folks. Great food. They gave me tea on the house when I first arrived in Potsdam.
Very good food. Love the place
Food was amazing.
Service is good. The food is a little low on spice considering its supposed to be Indian. Prices are good with a lot of sides included.
Amazing food.. Very tasty and specially batura.. Very kind people and fast service...
Excellent service, although curries in Germany not as spicy as were used to.
Good
Good indian food at reasonable price
Food is good plus environment inside is also nice. Owner is friendly.
Very nice Indian food..
Good indian test
Tip top
Not worth the money
Fantastic
A very nice, small restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere in Babelsberg. The occupancy rate is good, so booking in advance is recommended. The service is very friendly and courteous. The food is plentiful; Meat from quadrupeds and poultry, fish and vegetarian / vegan food is offered, mostly with rice. There are starters, soups, salads and desserts. The choice of drinks is extensive, of course various teas, lassi and everything else that is usual in our latitudes. The portions are large, if you like, you can have leftovers packed. The music for the meal is typical of the country, something Indian, but not intrusive. As to be expected in Babelsberg, the parking lot situation is tense. Access to the restaurant is via two steps, but in summer the outside area on the street can be used for wheelchair users. Worthwhile, even if you havent been to India yet.
Spontaneously eat here on vacation. Small cozy Indian restaurant (8 tables inside). Friendly service, asked several times in the evening whether everything was okay. Food was delicious and very plentiful. I can only recommend it.
We had a reservation at 8pm for 8 people. When we were already on the way to the restaurant, we were called 15 minutes in advance that our reserved table was still occupied and that we could not have it until 8:15 p.m. When we were there shortly after 8 p.m., we were informed that the table would not be available until 8.30 p.m. We saw the occupied table. There were no more drinks or food on the table. However, with the autumnal temperatures waiting for half an hour in front of the door, despite a reservation, we found it unreasonable! There wasnt even an apology. Hence the bad rating. We cannot judge the food, as we decided on another restaurant at short notice.
We recommend! Nice service, delicious dishes, great value for money. Always happy!
Bad service and poor quality ingredientsWe had reserved a table for several people on September 7th, 2020. When we got to the restaurant on time, the rear tables were pushed together and roughly set. Cozy and relaxed ambience is different! In contrast to the people collecting food, who always stood next to us with mouth and nose protection, the staff did not wear appropriate protection despite recognizable risk patients among the guests. The food was freshly cooked, recognizable by the very long waiting time despite the few guests. The ingredients, however, were on an underground level. We had 3 different dishes with chicken. The chicken meat, however, consisted of molded meat (meat waste) pressed into blocks. Bottom drawer in terms of quality. Conclusion for us: never again!
One of the best Indian restaurants I know. Its even better than the two nearby Jägerallee. The dishes are well seasoned and seasoned. The Bhatura bread comes with home-made meals and the selection of dishes is really good. There are also many dishes for vegetarians. The staff is incredibly friendly, attentive and accommodating. They even bring in rice on their own when the rice runs out. We would love to come back and will be happy to order in the future. A little tip: its best to reserve a table in advance.
Very tasty food and relatively cheap. It took a little longer to prepare, but that can be a good sign. We have not been billed for the additional portion of rice ordered. We would love to come back!
Very delicious Indian food, individual in taste. Friendly hospitality, average facility.
Very good Indian restaurant with the possibility to sit outside. The staff is friendly, the food is delicious and there is also the possibility to order and pick up food there.Professional tip:If you like it spicy, order your food with red chilies :)
Very tasty, as always. It was wonderfully warm in the evening and we could sit outside all the time.
Very nice staff, insanely great atmosphere. The decor and presentation of the food is wonderful! We were served super nice, although we really only wanted to get takeaway food.Recommended only.
By and large, it was fine. The staff was friendly, efficient and helpful.I had an Indian chicken soup which unfortunately only tasted like bouillon cubes. The main course was chicken tikker marinated 24 hours with supposedly a lot of spices I found it tasty but nothing extraordinary. Price performance is okay
On the Internet, duck Cambodia is 7.90 on the card 14.90 € that is not possible. The basement has no idea where or what Cambodia is? Indian is nothing just Pakistani here. Way too expensive! Otherwise okay.;?!?
The restaurant is not that big (which I thought was very nice) and decorated with its white leather furniture very modern. The food was so tasteful, just delicious. And ... a very nice unobtrusive service. We were so excited and will be back very soon. 🤗
For the real connoisseurs of Indian cuisine, this place is absolutely not recommended! I went with three Indian friends who are very familiar with traditional Indian cuisine. The owners of the restaurant come from Kashmir, the northern part of India, which means that the dishes are sweet and sour and only small and slightly spicy. The curries (side dishes with sauces) brought to the baked bread, first with eggplant and second with white cabbage and potatoes, both had the same taste. These had the same basis, one was a little more sweet and sour, the other less but the smaller one was a little hotter. The samosa dumplings that were brought looked as if they were prepared in the last century, i.e. folded and filled with contents and kept in the refrigerator until yesterday and then fried for us yesterday -> not fresh and with a neutral taste. One of the guests was vegan. Before ordering, the waiter was told that one of the guests is a vegan and asked if some of the dishes could be prepared vegan, he answered something like: No, you either take it as it is or not. So the waiters werent flexible like the Indians usually are. The dishes that were brought our vegan could not eat 80%. This was sat with bread, rice and curry sauce. But if you also go to the restaurant, you can expect more. ;-) The three different waiters who served us were not friendly. So Sagar, there is still a lot to be done about the freshness, the sauces, the customer service, the flexibility towards the customer and the friendliness of the staff!
Very nice service. Lunch is offered. Lunch has unfortunately lessened. Soup very thin, fish with ketchup sauce, that does not work.In the evening the food has always been delicious. Please dear team, also try to serve the lunch again delicious food. We like to come to you.
For Indian cuisine quite bland food with a very manageable meat content. South Indian lamb Mutton should be very spicy and not 70% potato! But the price is not so reserved. Good cocktails for under 5 euros. There are better Indians in Potsdam.
Very tasty chicken dishes at an affordable price, my personal favorite was the 82 Chicken Korma. Friendly service, nice atmosphere, we would love to come back.
We were very satisfied. Delicious food. The staff always attentive and extremely friendly. It did not look set but honest. The restaurant is very clean. From me a clear recommendation. I think that we will visit the Sagar again the next time we are in Potsdam
Great food. The best Indian (and Co.) which we have met so far. Great service, nice prepared food, great tasting and very good quality. We will certainly return on our next visit to Potsdam. thumbs up
I only ate a starter because I was not very hungry, delicious and great sauces, friendly service.
Superrrrrrr delicious this shop best food i h recommend it to everyone in potsdan and berlin
Delicious Indian cuisine and good prices, friendly service. Cocktails could be better. Music authentic and pleasant.
Delicious! My lamb was delicious and the service was courteous and friendly!
Good Indian restaurant, pleasant service.
Eh age..Words from a waiter working there to us customers. You dont have to add anything here ... unfriendly, incompetent and not recommended. Eating only average. Unfortunately, no.
Delicious food, good service and quick service.
Amazing Indian restaurate, good food
Food and prices in okay no more.
Friendly staff, as well as very good and cheap lunch menu!
Nice ambience, nice and quiet restaurant. Many, fresh ingredients prices reasonable. The waiter could have been a little less busy with his cell phone. But for a good, Indian food in a cozy atmosphere you can recommend this restaurant.
We received our order very quickly. The soup tasted of Maggi chicken broth. The salads are well done. The main courses in themselves have been very good and also delicious. There was nothing wrong with it. Especially the bread was delicious. All in all, there are 4 out of 5 stars, a deduction for the chicken bouillon soup (looked like curry but did not taste that way).
Yummy Yummy Yummy. Super friendly staff and the food was really a dream. The portions were large and the price was fine. This small eatery is definitely recommendable
We recommend! Very good food and very attentive service. Definitely go back.
Service was quick and goodFood was also very good. Price performanceit was fine.Would eat there again. . were food with distance rules in corona times. Still great food, potion size remained the same so that you dont get the impression that the loss that every restaurant has to be brought back to the guest.
Its just awesomeVery friendlyVery, very tasty
Eating Indian is not so easy if youve already been to India ... Maybe thats why its only three stars ... Condition is great ... And the food tastes ... But I personally lack that certain something ...
Good value for money for the lunch menu. Very friendly service, pleasant atmosphere.
Well :)
Absolutely friendly staff and very good Indian food. We were there for the first time - but definitely come more often!
Incredibly delicious food, very good prices, very attentive and friendly staff. Also highly recommended with children. We will be back definitely!
The food was good, the service could be improved, the communication was problematic, the staff spoke on the phone by the open window and sonicated the guests while eating in their mother tongue, we had already experienced it differently, we were already disappointed
Always very good the restaurants. Top fast, very good kitchen and friendly service.
Food ordered 3 hours before! The shed closes immediately. Food was not delivered but paid, oh hopefully we will get the money again! The phone goes to stall and promise you call back and no one more. Absolutely not recommended! Rather go back to something else if you are hungry ...
Always tasty. Always great. Very nice.
Our big love! We have tried every Indian restaurant in Potsdam and were always disappointed. Here you always get delicious Indian cuisine, a warm service and a colorful, cozy atmosphere. We visit here regularly. There is only this one for us ❤️ (And the associated restaurant in oak 😊)
If you love Indian cuisine, this is the place for you. Friendly service.
Food was delicious. It took a little longer, but its worth the wait. The operators usually have a lot to do, but act reliably and quickly.Recommendable.
Very nice evening spent. The dishes are freshly prepared.Very friendly service. We become regular customers😊
My absolute favorite Indian Super tasty, super cozy, more than reasonable prices (nobody goes out hungry again 😉) and very friendly host and waiter! Perfect for mild Babelsberg summer nights👍
There were three of us there. The food was very tasty. Preempt the service. The price was great
Also vegetarian dishes. These are partially vegan ordered
Plenty of choice good food
Jo, I was not eating here, just visiting someone who lives there, but can only report good things from others. Even lunch on weekdays.
Good vegetarian selection and delicious.
The best Indian in town. Very friendly staff and the food is really fresh and delicious. The best Indian food Ive ever eaten.
The atmosphere is typical for Indian restaurants and is colorful. All kinds of dishes from Indian and Singaporean cuisine are offered in a pleasant atmosphere, but with Indian music. These are plentiful and of good quality. The prices are moderate for Potsdam conditions.
Eat great, really every time. Totally satisfied. And friendly service.
Delicious, fresh, Indian food. During the week there is a cheap lunch. The staff is always very friendly. We always like to come here!
Good kitchen.Good service.Good location. In good weather, nice outdoor spaces
Small cozy restaurant in Babelsberg. The food tastes great and a compliment to the service. Was very attentive and very nice.
Only nice employees and well seasoned Indian specialties!
Coincidentally drove the Babelsberg Karl Liebknecht Strasse by bike. We took a little break in the Sagar and sat there and as luck would have it, we received a small, colorful cocktail in a champagne glass from the waiter. Because of a misunderstanding at another table. We found this surprise really great and decided to eat something. It went quickly and tasted very good. Super service and normal prices. We will be back.
An authentic Indian in Babelsberg. The sauces are very different and really well cooked. Really individual food and no standard recipes. The chef knows how to respond to different regions and specialties. The Persoanl is extremely friendly and also helpful to discover new specialties. Amazing is the wine quality of Indian wines. Red and white. These are very good and very cheap. Thanks for this nice experience. NAMASTE.
Very tasty 😋
The restaurant is manageable, but wonderful. The service is great and super delicious food, wishes or things that were not on the menu were still provided or prepared. Price-performance ratio 1a !!!
Bad Indian food. Those who think thats good dont know how Indian can taste.
Small restaurant with nice atmosphere and gaaannnzzz delicious food! Reserve a table is a must!
Very good service and food with friendly service person
Small, fine Indian, Singaporean restaurant. Delicious food at fair prices, nice service. In good weather you can sit outside.
