A beautiful place to visit.. It brings you much more close to the nature.. You can stay in tent houses, that feeling itself is refreshing, beautifully decorated with various plants and trees and swinging places for children, the dining area is too good,..Its a place which will take your heart away.. u can spend days in this camp doing nothing but just enjoying the beauty of nature.. U wake up by the chirping sounds of the birds and the sun peeking through the leaves of the bamboo trees..Be careful of different insects though...Food service is good, toilets are also clean, good behavior of staffs.

Wonderful place. Must visit for a 2 to 3 days trip combining a trek in nearby reserve forest that nestles a large variety of birds. One has to cross a river to trek into the forest for which small boats are readily available. Forest department provides dedicated guides cum armed guards with each group for a fixed nominal charge.

This eco camp is enveloped with nature as it is near the Nameri National Park and within walking distance from the Jia Bhorali River.Accommodation is provided in tents or cottages built on raised platform and have thatched roofs.Serves delicious homely food to resident guests. Non- resident guests have to order for food in advance. The camp has provisions for jungle hiking, village tours and river rafting.Had been there for 2 days. Enjoyed the stay and adventure activities like hiking and rafting.

A very beautiful resort. You can stay with family to enjoy the beauty of Nameri. Lots of facilities available there like trekking to Nameri national park, rafting from Bhalukpong in Jia Bharali river. But just one defect is that the cost of food and local items available there are so costly.

One of the place you will find in this region. Its a very quiet and eco friendly place to live. All the activities in the nearby area can be accessed from the camp itself. The camp also have fooding service, although the food quality is not so good. The tents are nice and comfortable to spend the night. All the tents have attached bathrooms. It also contains dormitories. It will be advisable to bring groups of people for camping and other activities.

Had an opportunity to stay a night in January 2020. Cottages are nice. Enjoyed the cold with bonfire at the big open area surrounded by cottages and wilderness. Groups can arrange for barbecue by the bonfire. They also provide sticks with meat of your choice for roasting in the bonfire. They provide trekking, rafting services on booking. The restaurant serves tasty foods.

This was my second visit. I had visited this place many years back and it was such a lovely experience at that time, however, this time around I was disappointed! Rooms/ tents including the bed linen, curtains etc. were were not clean and when not inside the tents, the stray dogs roaming about in the area come and sleep on the beds! Although I am an animal lover myself and the cute creatures out there are no doubt friendly, letting them sleep on the beds, with skin diseases on their bodies, lice in their fur and leeches hanging onto their paws, is a bit too much! And I realized that creating a scene out there would not help much either. Serving of breakfast was a slow process maybe because of lack of sufficient manpower. Nevertheless, Food was tasty! We expect the administration would take heed and try and bring back the actual quality of the place! We hope to visit again...

A Good beautiful Place to Visit , But try to be there During the day time as it remains active during that time, the restaurant for visors get closed by the evening after lunch. So you will be disappointed if you visit the place after that time period. the staff were nice ..they guide you well. the food was nice the sitting is nicely decorated within the environment to help you perceive being closest to the nature. But if in case if you reach there late and you are not permitted there..the staff will help you choose a more convenient place from around to choose.

We had our college batch reunion at Nameri Eco Camp recently and thanks to the organizers for selecting this awesome place as the venue. This place is good for a short stay in the midst of nature. You have options to stay in tents or cottages. They have proper bathrooms with western style toilets. Beds in tents are made up of bamboo. Access roads are motor-able and should be good for any kind of vehicles. Food items were very good and delicious. Finally, I will let the pictures speak for themselves.

This is an amazing place!! What a great location. Few Kms from main highway, it is located in a village, just on the boundary of Nameri national park. It is a huge property, with beautiful huts for staying and a huge center garden with couple of humongous trees. Huts are too pretty well maintained, it is a comfortable and a cozy stay. The food is also good, basic but tasty. You can hear plenty of birds chirping all the time. If you roam outside the property, you might come across a dear or a wild hen or sometime even an elephant. Unfortunately people stay here only for a day, and so did I. You have to spend atleast 2 days here. It is an absolute delight.

Experience on Nameri Eco camp was great. We opt for boat ride on the river which cost around 3500 total. They provide 2 person to help us with hand paddling. We did the boat ride for almost 2 hour. But the charge of resort and food was bit expensive as compare to other similar places. But I would recommend to do the boat ride at once for a piece of mind experience.

It is a good place to stay away from city. We paid around 3500 for accommodation of three. The food is bit costly but the cost is justified given that they make it like home food. No artificial flavor or coloring. Plus, non-veg items like Fish, Egg are from the place itself, meaning, local produce of the camp.During summer/monsoon, you may end up seeing 🐍 like we did.The staff is very polite, friendly and responsive.

It was a quick trip to this resort as we have been hearing about this restaurant for a long time. We drove from Guwahati to this resorts, the road was good baring last couple of kilometers. Do check the directions with resort carefully while going. We stayed in a 1st floor family room which was quite comfortable. It was a rainy off season, the resorts had very few visitors and due to this we bargained good rate. The resort support staff were quite friendly and helpful. There is a restaurant and food was made on order. Food was tasty and traditional mostly with both veg and non veg options. It was raining throughout the day so we could not visit much of the place around and was a real damper. Hopefully would visit the place again and see all the placed.

Unique resort with tent houses and cabins in an unbelievably lush setting. A birders paradise, a nature lovers dream and a perfect balm for the stressed. Then take a boat ride across a river to step into Nameri forest reserve, and walk through the jungle with a forest guard. A must visit place for all birders. Eco Camp organizes all Nameri visits, including two-hour ornithological rafting trips. Accommodation is in ‘tents’ with colorful fabrics, but private bathrooms, sturdy beds and thatched-roof shelters make the experience relatively luxurious. A bigger ‘tent’ offers great value dorm beds and there’s an atmospheric open-sided restaurant.

Adventure campsite for the trekkers and river rafters. Huts are available for stay, although they cost you more than a hotel room. Food is simple yet delicious. Rafting is exciting for the initial 5-10 min, but as the euphoria dies down its plain boring. Still, a different experience altogether.

The concept of “Camping in the forest on Tent” is the key USP and the ambiance is pretty attractive through travelers. Nameri is the paradise for Birders. If u forgets Binoculars then ask it from the forest guide. The early morning guided (armed) forest- trail walk of 7/8 km are the best part of it.It’s nearby Kameng riverbed so u can opt for the river rafting as well. Options for cycling are also available in this resort. If u are in a group then definitely enjoy the authentic Camping. U can dodge the tension of limited availability through prior booking.Mantra: Keep maintains the silence and enjoy the serenity of Jungle.

They prefer taking meal orders in advance to prepare fresh food as per demand. The property is professionally managed n each guest is well taken care. They also facilitate Jungle Trekking (starts at 0630 am) n River Rafting which requires permit from Forest Department located adjacent to Eco Camp. In the evening, we enjoyed bonfire in the Camp.

Well maintained Eco camp in nameri. We wanted rooms for staying back but there was no availability, hence no comments on room amenities and related services. However we were upset with the service of kitchen staff as they were not ready to take orders citing they have to take orders from the guests staying in the camp first. Even if they take order, itd take more that 2 hours to serve food. Since it was already quarter past one, we decided to leave and had lunch in a nearby resort called Jungle Camp.Eco camp is undoubtedly the most popular place in Nameri and we plan to stay there in our next trip.
