Its a Statue of one of the prime minister of India. The place setting is very nice. One can see the ocean all around the place. Its also a nice place to watch sunset. Its a nice place to walk around with friends and families to get some quite time together

Statue of Late Rajiv Gandhi Youngest Indian Prime Minister from 1984 to 1989 at,Andaman and Nicobar Islands. This is a very beautiful place for relaxation. The view of the ocean through this point is quite amazing and this place is also a busy place in Amdaman.

A place with nice view, there is statue of Rajiv Gandhi so thats the name for, from here you can easily see Netaji Subhas island(earlier called as Ross island), in day time the ocean and island view is really mesmerizing. At night there is good lights put in for pleasant walk around the dock.Nothing much to see though but one can have visit in this calm place. It is very near to cellular jail (few hundred meters only) which is walkable. Area is pretty clean and its just adjacent to marine park as well.People normally visit the place to have snacks and tea at places outside around main gate.

Best place for do water sports activities

Situated nearby Aberdeen monument at the edge of the sea. Looks magnificent in evening with different lightings besides it.

Awesome place. This place is several hundred feet inside sea. Amazing feeling with the waves here. But I had a terrific experience when we entered here, heavy rain and storm started and we could not even stand there and we ran for shelter. The waves became dangerous and air was terrific.Somehow we reached shelter but we were very much frightened before that. So be careful about weather.

A good place in Port Blair marina park. The place is beautiful during night. Nice place to sit and relax. You can walk to this place from cellular jail. Make sure to add this to your itinerary if you are visiting Andaman.

Beautiful atmosphere, excellent statue and nice ambiance. Good place to visit and pass time with friends or family enjoying the beautiful surroundings along with the excellent lighting over the statue and the surrounding. Its a charming place and obviously attract every visitor even from the far. Visitors are seen to have photo shoots in the area. The fresh air of the sea in the evening will refresh the mind and body obviously.

Nothing great at this place,, may be one click at the statue, one can never say its rajiv gandhi statue, You have to come here to take a small boat to Ross island. Generally the ticket varies from 350 onward,, it largely depends on the skills of your negotiation. People are thriving on tourists here, they know you dont have much choice but to pay. This Rajiv Gandhi Statue is situated in middle of sea and this is good tourist attractions also...But not well maintained.

Very peacefull place...

At the Aberdeen Jetty, in a sort of enclave on the pier, is a statue of Rajiv Gandhi in kurta ( a pyjama like jacket), immortalized in the act of throwing a garland at the sea. What the significance of that act is, is unknown to me at this time, but many of the tourist departing or returning to the Jetty seem to stop by and take pictures.
