Stayed in this hotel for 5 days and 6 nights. I must say this is one of the best budget hotel with wonderful hospitality. We had taken the tour package arranged by them and it was just awesome. Jayaraj and Arockia Swamy were really helpful and kind enough to arrange things for us and we never had to worry at any point of time. Rooms were good and also the food served here was good. Worth staying in this hotel. Totally satisfied.

It was a very nice experience. Hospitality was up to the mark. The owner of this hotel Mr. Arokyaswami and his wife both of them, is very kind hearted and good by nature. Room quality was also good. He knows the best places of andaman and nicobar to visit. And also he arranged and organised whole trip for us, this shows his helping and trustworthy nature. My mom, dad and me fully satisfied, and whenever we go to port blair, we will stay in hotel port residency.

Hotel port residency is a nice hotel with moderate facilities. It is hardly 10 minutes away from Port Blair airport. Staff is cordial but the food specially for the north Indians ( who prefer chapatis) is not easily available. One can enjoy the pleasing view from the roof. Local market is also very near.some rooms dont have hot water supply.

Position of the hotel is good and just on road side. Its an average budgetary hotel with minimum service. Although a few rooms are good but most of the rooms are average with minimum facilities. Staffs are decent but provide minimum service. So far as service is concerned, when asked for, they know how to keep themselves silent telling the only words, Will see. Prices are moderate.

Hotel Port Residency is a Budget hotel. Some rooms are okay but few are terrible. We were on a conducted tour, so many of our friends complained for not getting hot water. Furnishing is nominal. Lack of cleanliness. Location is quite good. Nearer to the Airport. Market is also very near. They have one restaurant which serves quality food.

Dont expect anything fancy when you book at a budget hotel like this(around * for AC double bed room). Its situated in a bit busy marketplace, with access to only few of decent restaurants(3-6). Though the stay is complete value for money, there are certain things like poor maintainance of existing amenities that lets the hotel down.To sum it up, book n stay at this place only if youre staying for night sleep and getting ready for next day in the morning, anything more than that youre better off finding far better options*

Poor restaurant facilities like water, towel, availability of hotel staff etc. Location is 5-10 min from airport. Rooms are ok with ac facility but hot water is not available in each room.Food is ok and sometimes be good as well as worse. There are couple of shops nearby and overall experience seems average.

The rooms were clean and tidy as shown. homely atmosphere and excellent service..... delhiites may feel little disappointed with food. But overall its a nice place to stay in.... satisfied

The hotel is located a few kms from the main city but the hotel location is very peaceful. The owner of the hotels is very helpful and friendly and would help us with most of our needs, such as taxis, autos, ferry tickets etc. I would like to recommend for group of friends, Families and Couples. We really had a nice time there and enjoyed our stay at Port Residency.

The non-AC room which i am staying is too small (approx 8x8 feet excluding bath room). No almara/racks available to keep. You need to keep them on floor/on the small wooden table). The 4x6 bed and that small wooden table occupies most of the room. There is no mirror in bath room and you have do shaving in room it self.Room service is not at all there. Also no wi-fi, In the ground floor there is only BAR and not a restaurant. You have to run outside restaurants for food.Overall this hotel needs lot improvements. I do not recommend this.

It was a nice experience. Swami Ji was a friendly Hotel Owner. The Morning tea with Tulsi leaves was a instant hit and we enjoyed it through our course of stay there. good budget hotel. We stayed @ room no 208.

Hotel is in very good location. If you want to go to Wandoor. That place is best place to stay. You will get govt. bus in morning and you will reach within 45 minutes.

The port residency hotel is situated in bathubasti on CIARI road which is just 10 minutes distance by auto or taxi.Normally auto charges Rs 120.The location has a very good road connectivity by auto/ taxi /bus service.All requirements of visitors are fulfilled as shops of all kind,bank ATMs, restaurant,stores etc are available.Area and people are good and helpful.hotel location is good.All rooms and room facility are good.staff are cooperative and helpful.bathrooms and toilets are clean.Hot & cold water with good water fittings are provided.rooms are spacious and beds are good.overall very nice hotel and it provides full value of your money- Rishal singh , Delhi Metro Rail Corporation

Every thing was good there , no issue regarding any thing there. Service and all are fine over there. Location was absolute. Nice amenities are available there. Its a very neat and clean hotel.

The Room and ambience were we stayed are not good and clean. The price is also high for the rooms that provided to us.

The rooms are very small, 2 adults cannot move about freely in the rooms, the food is somewhat okay, but the rooms are not clean, dirty and full of insects. The beds are small and a 6 feet tall person will find it very small. Bathrooms are unclean and the hotel management bribes local guides to dump tourists in the hotel.

Owner is so good and co-operative that make my stay /tour easy . location of hotel is somewhat farfrom airport/ main city area but it does not matter if we want accommodation with average budget .I recommende this hotel for economic tour plan.

Very dirty and small rooms. We stayed in room 302. No TV, no geyser, nothing at all. Poor substandard hotel. The manager Indrajit Das cant be found in times of need. Very poor service.

Hilarious experience, does not work out for online goers. The receptionist is totally unaware of online bookings, when we have inquired about our booking by showing PNR he was searching it in the dairy maintained by the hotel. After our request he checked the system and there was confirmation message-this time he asked where the payment has gone and who is gonna pay him and when. He almost denied our booking, luckily He took Goibibo agent on call and the agent settled the issue After all he wasted our precious time of 2 hours.

One of the cheapest and best accommodation the port blair . Hotel is little far from the airport around 4km , rooms are neat and clean good staff very helpful in all matters . four bed is the best deal in the hotel.

Hotel was far away from main city but around 6-7 kms from airport.No complimentary facilities,rooms were ok however if you complain for any of the things in room like ac or tv they dont care for it.Food has to be ordered before 2-3 hrs by chance if you miss to inform regarding food u have to be without food.Hotel guys are also not much aware of the visiting places or the timings .Not satisfied.

Do not land up in this hotel, the blackie madrasi owner is extremely racist, if you complain about anything they will use racist comment, AC and TV do not work properly, and all the staffs are very abusive, it is good only if you are south indian, if you are bengali or north india do not try this hotel,

Hotel is ok. at this rate u wont get many options. 3 km from city market, yet all amenities available nearby.
