Good place, good food, nice ambience... Has been around since ages so no need to question their quality and hospitality. Always have had a good time when visiting here..

The food was averagely good, nothing too expensive nor cheap.However, I really commend the staff as a less fortunate elder lady approached us they quickly prepared a hot meal for her and gave her food.Such kindness xx

Romantic furniture and design.Candle for each table and 2F can see authentic atmosphere.Various menus even for veg.But beef is too stiff and too much source for dishes.I suggest you to add spinach or mushrooms if you order food with beef or chicken.

Probably the best restaurant of town!The troat was fresh and tasty! The pulled pork was the best we ever had!The service is very fast and friendly!It is so good, we went back the day after!

Nice little bar, cleanly presented. Close to a few other places which is nice. What’s really good is the couple of deals they had on eg free pizza with local beers, two for one cocktails etc very good!

Restaurant serves a wide variety of Western food - steak, beef stragonoff, pasta and pizza. Great ambience and pricing. Strategically located close to 13th Street on Lakeside.

Great atmosphereThis is a place I would recommend to dine.The service I found really good.The food and beverage selection rather extensive.The food was nice, I had their signature tandoor sewer dish and found it pleasant. Some of the beef was slightly dry but enjoyed everything else.

Very good food and good presentation. Great for a break from local food if willing to pay the little extra (on my opinion totally worth it).It gets very busy at dinner time (at least in November when we went) so you may want to go a bit earlier or book in advance just to be sure you get a table.

Dine by the fire...Moondance has kept its reputation by maintaining amazing staff, environment and food. Although I felt a bit decline in food taste but its still one of the best place to eat.

Nice place to start with happy hours, buy 1 get 1 selected cocktails. We ordered Mojito. It was quite decent taste. Later hour this place got pretty crowded. Surely this is a place loved by locals and tourists. They have quite extensive menus and for different kind of preferences. We order a couple of dishes and were not disappointed. Price and service wise were acceptable.

Generally lovely restaurant, great range of food and good quality. Even offered a Christmas menu. Only downside was they forgot to order one of our starters meaning it came at the same time as our main. Also the brownie is really a chocolate sponge so a little let down.

We tried their pizza and it was great. It was flavourful but the crust is a bit too thin for what I expect for a pizza. They have fresh apple juice which was very refreshing. The ambiance is also nice especially during night when they light candles in the tables.

We enjoyed very much our visit here. The staff were excellent, always helping one another which means that we were well served. We had drinks and pizza so did not dive too deeply into the menu... though others seemed to be enjoying their meals. The ambiance is wonderful, and I imagine even better in the winter time. The only down side is the location... in the midst of the crowded and noisy Central District. Otherwise, well recommended by us and well be back!

The Tandoori beef burger looked like a cool fusion burger, and although the flavors were good, the burger was ruined by poor quality meat. After chewing and chewing, there were several pieces of gristle that were ultimately inedible. Probably best not to get beef in a place where cows are considered sacred by most of the population.

Loved the ambience and vibe - went for a late lunch - fish cubes were nicely flavoured, Long Island Iced tea was quite good too. What I really, really loved was their WildNettle Pizza, with an Amazonian burst of subtle flavours and the Wild nettle itself, thin crust, piping hot ( be careful of the cheese, its at 85*C). Discovered on the last day as usual.😒. Huge selection of wines and alcohol. Pls visit once, at least.

Visited in lunch time, waiters was watching TV not provided service very well. The farmer salad was soso. But the surrounding was good. Considering the price, its too high.

Our favorite restaurant in the Pokhara area, they had beautiful restaurant, good servers, great food, nice prices. The staff started recognizing us when we came in after a couple days, and when I left they were giving high fives as we left the last time there.I recommend the chicken fajitas... My favorite!!

They are terrible at vegetarian Indian food. The naan was half cooked, and was not much better even after sending it back to be cooked. The waiter didnt want to fix it, even after I told him half cooked naan causes stomach problems because of the maida uses to make it. I really had to insist for him to even ask the chef to cook it!!The vegetable Kurma was too acidic and the dal, lacking flavour, the most insipid Ive ever had. I left most of the dal uneaten and exited feeling like this was a total waste of my money and time.Overall terrible service. The staff behaved as if they didnt want us there. Maybe they prefer not to serve Indians?I would NOT recommend this place to anyone, especially if you are looking for decent vegetarian food or even half decent service.

Incredible treasure in Pokhara. International cusine with a Nepali touch. I had the pulled pork bbq. It was awesome. I was flooded with flavor memories of North Carolina! A comfortable upscale ambiance with a central fireplace adds to the romantic feel.

Went here for lunch. After being charged the same amount up in the mountains for simple and often average food, the quality and value at this place was refreshing. My pad Thai was actually pretty authentic- could taste the tamarind. Indian dishes on offer were also enjoyed at our table. Great quality meat and fast service. Also the first place in Nepal that has nice toilets AND even a hand drier.

Lovely place. Next door to Landmark Hotel. I had steak here.Steak was grilled perfectly. I had a glass of red wine too but didnt liked the wine much.The menu was interesting. Will visit again with friends.They have Happy Hours from 4pm to 7pm (I think. Dont remember exactly)

This place does have delicious drinks as we enjoyed the lassi but I wouldnt recommend it for food. I ordered a garlic medium rare steak, and I got two pieces of meat. One was medium rare and the other was almost raw. I just couldnt eat it.

Very good food, always a good choice in Pokhara

Dont order the steak. Its not a steak but a ground hamburger patty. The slaw is mainly mayonnaise and the French fries are greasy.The atmosphere is lovely and plenty of seating inside and outside. The balcony has a good view of the main street.

The place have local draft beer (Everest and Sherpa) which is super fun! We only ate potato wedges and ice cream which were not so good.Prices are fine, additional 10% service is charged and also 13% on the food&service together.The place itself is cute - big, but cosy and comfortable, and the staff is very welcoming.

Food is awesome and their service is really good. The place is clean, but a bit crowded. Theres no lake view but who cares when you have a good food in front of you.

The best in Pokhara. Love this place so much. Dorje is fantastic and very willing to accommodate requests and special parties, and the food is to die for. Excellent drink selection as well.

This restaurant uses organic products grown on compost fertilizer produced by locals. The locals make compost fertilizer using water hyacinth, an invasive species growing in the Phewa lake

My favourite spot for meal in Pokhara. I came here on my previous visit to Pokhara and I was here few days ago. The mixed grill was good, meat is juicy and tender. The pan seared spinach was tasty. Location is good and easy to find. The interior has good ambience and the staff are attentive.

Although the ambience and the environment was good. I was not pleased by the food as it did not meet the level you would seek after paying that amount. It was not value for money. The staff were friendly though.

Came here for lunch and ordered a sizzling platter and some chicken wings. Very tasty! The fries, gravy and cheese actually mixed together and made an impromptu Poutine! I would also recommend the wings. Will definitely be back!

Went as a group of 7 foreigners for desert. We sat down and when we told the waiter we are only after desert he completely changed and said please order quickly we dont have time. This is unacceptable. We ordered their special Lemon meringue, milkshake and the macchupucchre biscuit. They were all tasty and worth the price. The waiter did improve later.

Oh my god. They charged me an extra rs400 in tax on a rs1300 bill. Its a service tax apparently. Thanks but Ill leave a tip if I think you deserve it and Im never coming back here. I dont like getting screwed.

Good menu. Not the largest choice of the nearby upmarket restaurants, but what they offer is well done. Very nice interior. Great service. Happy Hour includes free slice of pizza with each beer.Recommend the pizza, lasagna or chicken salad.

Steak sizzler and Mojito were both really good. They actually put a good amount of alcohol in the drink and make it well, unlike many other places in Pokhara that serve you watered down, nasty imitations of cocktails.

Great beef (buffalo) sizzler. 2 4 1 cocktails brilliant. Dessert well worth it. Highly recommend.

Chill environment

Whenever we are in Pokhara we always head to Moondance! Comfy seats, great food, strong WiFi and welcoming staff. If you have space after a great main meal try a piece of the lemon meringue pie.... Its delicious!

Pretty good Chicken Korma with Naan! Also the Mango Lassi was very tasty! The interior and decoration is nice and looks good. The staff is professional and isn’t intrusive, which makes it comfortable.

Great food and fun ambiance. A bit pricier than other places but worth it if you go before or after a trek! Pizza was good but not as much reviews and guidebook states.... But the garlic chili oil is yummy!

Fancy! With very tasty food and lots of options. I wouldnt recommend the salad tho as several people in our group shared a Greek salad and got a bit of travelers issues. I highly recommend the fish and the ribs tho! Incredible!

My wife and I entered almost at the closing hours, yet they offered us to serve (informing us that service stops at 9:45 pm) and it lived upto the standards I experienced on 2017!

Good food, nice location, an expensive cafe. Overlooking phewa lake is moondance cafe, apparently one of the oldest in Pokhara. Lots of menu option for food and drinks. Will recommend Nepalese beer - Everest and Gurkha. Get a table in the balcony so as to enjoy the setting.

Some of the other customers treated our G-Adventure tour group poorly. Our tour guide was giving us a final speech for our last night of the tour. These other customers complained about us (it was a group of tourists). It was pathetic. Fortunately, the owner stepped in just as we were about to leave. He corrected the situation and from then on it was great drinks and food. Thank you to the owner.

Utterly pathetic, didn’t even served drinking water, food was cold. Asked iced water and received two gigantic ice cube only,nobody asked us if everything was good. And of course over priced for nothing. They treat you good if you look rich. Make sure you dress wealthy and visit this restaurant. Good luck

We had a recommendation to come here by our guide and he wasnt wrong.Food was great, large portions and the chicken Pad Thai was amazing.The only downside was that we went in happy hour and the cocktails seemed weak.

Came here with friends after trekking, we needed to fill up. The atmosphere is nice with candle lit tables and views over a quiet area of the lake. I ordered a burger, the meat quality was surprisingly good but the roll was hard, a minor fault. It came with chips and proper coleslaw!! The staff were lively and full of character, cant fault them at all.If you go you must have the lemon meringue pie!! Its amazing :)
