Im not a huge fan of Indian food but this place was really good. We started with an appetizer of vegetarian Pakora. It was not too spicy, which was nice. I had the Butter Chicken with Basmati Rice and Butter Naan. It was the best I ever had. No spice and a bit of sweet. My husband ordered the Vegetarian Thali for one. He enjoyed it very much. That too was served with Naan. The portions look small when they arrive at the table but it is very filling. Its an excellent choice to eat here.Service was impeccable. Everyone was so nice from the guy who sat us to the guy who served us water.

Sahib is hands down the best Indian Restaurant in Montréal. The food is so flavourful and made with the freshest ingredients. Every dish on the menu is spectacular. The service is always excellent. I give them my highest recommendation!

Food is good and the portion is descent. The mango lassi isnt sweet enough. The naan bread is excellent.

Really nice biryani with generous chicken pieces and sufficient for two for to go. Missed their butter chicken but that gives me a reason to visit them again. Also do try their Mango Cauliflower. Delicious

Pretty good Indian food. We tried chicken tikka starter, main course - dal makhani, butter chicken, butter garlic naan. It was all pretty good. Chicken tikka was very flavorful and the other dishes too. Good staff.

The food here is amazing! My family loves to order here when we’re craving Indian food. The butter chicken is my favourite. I definitely recommend! Their naan bread is also delicious. The whole family loves the tandoori chicken. Everything is so flavourful and I recommend you get extra tamarind sauce. It’s the best!

This food is just delicious. I came here pre covid and have been dreaming of this place ever since. Second time and am not disappointed...Lots of veggie choices. The Naan is literally to die for. Had mushroom cashew and pea curry ..out of this world. Cant wait to come back. Highly recommend

Very polite and fast service. Great tasting food. The meal for two is actually almost perfect for two, plates are of good size but portion of rice more for once person. I ordered twice from there and I recommend it.

I rarely like lamb curry, but they surprised me. I like it a lot. They chicken butter is good too. Why I give 4 and not 5 stars is that the chicken is dry (Its just my personal taste)

The food is AMAZING!! They are super generous. The waiter was so friendly and brought us extra naan and rice! The service is really good and the prices are very reasonable!

I especially like that Indian waiter, which I dont know the name of... but I wish HE was always my server because I would have given a bigger tip. Hes very sweet and kind hearted and makes this experience a good experience.

It is a cozy and warm restaurant. The staff was welcoming, but we saw only one person for give service to all customers so she was slightly busy to take care of inside and outside orders. The quality of their food is really good, tasty, spicy and greatly flavoured but i believe a little bit expensive. I suggest them to give more promotions or special plates for weekend days. I recommend to try here at least one time. Dont forget to order butter chicken, there.

Indian Food lover? Sahib is the right place to eat, refill and eat more for a very affordable price of 18$/person! It was my first time there and definitely coming back! It is a really good buffet and for that price, it is Great! When you are done, make sure to try the dessert made of those fried circular(not sure what their name is) and put them with the white sweet sauce made of rice and milk/cream..!

Was a little let down because the butter chicken was much more watery than what I remember eating many, many times in house. Everything else was great. BEST authentic Indian food Ive tried in the montreal/Vaudreuil area. Would order again and again. Everything is perfectly rich, spiced and fresh. I love this place! My family and I always share a mix of meat and vegetarian dishes. The people that work there are always so nice. Sahib never disappoints.

I ordered the onion Bhaji and saag paneer one time and it was delicious. But another time I ordered the same thing and the bhaji was not crispy ,cold and saag paneer was salty and lacking cheese. I would order here more often if the quality of food was more consistent.

Worst service , i ask them to put napkins and spoons as they forget the last time , they send extra and the driver said here you go with extra so that you wont call us next time if you miss things again

Have ordered from them many of times. Food is good problem is tonight we ordered our meal. And after delivery. They had forgotten the naan bread. We called them. They asked us for credit. We said no we wanted our bread. Kinda pointless to eat Indian food without the naan bread. I am sure most of you would agree. They are only 10 minutes away from me. And it has been just over an hour since we called them back, food is cold. And bread is still not here. This is suppose to be the time that you shine and fix the problem. Seriously disappointed. And the only answer they had for me was. Sorry we are really busy.

Solid option for Indian food in Pointe Claire! Portion sizes are worth the price. The Butter Chicken is on the sweeter side, and the Daal Makhani was solid. The Vegetable Jalfrezi was a bit disappointing but still tasted good and was offset by the AWESOME Mango Lasse. Ill be hitting this place up more often.

Super fresh and tasty! Not too oily and adequately spicy. Fresh handmade naan bread! Ordered samosas, fried veggie bites, cucumber salad, 4 main dishes and jalfrezi rice. All was delivered on time, order was correct and service was friendly. Will definitely order again!

Good Indian food in Montreal

Great restaurant, I tried lots of Indian restaurant in Montreal but some restaurant have Indian quality and taste and I am very happy to say that this restaurant have that quality which we want to see in one Indian restaurant. if you are in Montreal and want to taste some good Indian food than I suggest this place. One interesting things is that they have buffet option in Saturday and Sunday evening that rarely available in Indian restaurant in Montreal. So I recommend this restaurant. Just go with your family and enjoy some quality time with Indian food

The outside of the restaurant is not much to look out but once through the door you are greeted warmly. There is pub bar section and a dining room. The service is excellent and we were not rushed but not forgotten either. We enjoyed a mixed grilled appetizer with Indian beer. Main dishes of lamb and chicken were delicious. The spice seasoning was perfection. Will definitely return to this restaurant on our next visit to Montreal.

Food quality is still really good at Sahib. They have cut the menu down a bit since Covid but still the go-to place for authentic Indian food on the West Island.

Pre-ordered a meal on Dec 30th, for Dec. 31st on uber eats. Gave 24hr notice knowing full well that new years eve would be busy.Our order which was due at 6pm was cancelled at 5:15 pm on Dec 31.Attempted to call the restaurant to address the issue with them, and was sent straight to voicemail.We have nothing to eat on new years Eve.Thank you, Sahib.

Do not chance eating here during covid times! today I came to place an order for takeout and waited for my food, I heard the boss cough a bunch of times he sounded very sick and he constantly has his mask off his nose. I will be making a formal report in hopes he will get in some kind of trouble either be forced to stay home and not risk spreading covid or have to advise clients with proof he doesn’t have the virus. who knows if he’s even been tested. I understand owners feel the need to be present in the restaurant to make sure things run smoothly but when your sick it is very unsafe and unprofessional! Stay home.

The cutest restaurant with the biggest reputation for amazing food and it did not disappoint. I will be dreaming about all that I ate this afternoon. The staff attentive and courteous, professionally assisted quickly and with no hesitation. I was struck by the beautiful pictures only to meet the artist who created them. What a bonus! Go in with an empty tummy like I did and you will not be disappointed with the belly ache you will earn. I cannot wait to hire them for a family event to come. Highly disappointed with the server. She literally forced us to pay 15% tip. We are happy to pay tips provided we are happy with the food. The food served was too spicy and not what we had expected.May be the lady was not paid well but this is no way that we are demanded to pay the tips. We were not asked but demanded. Tips is a willful gesture of the guests, no one should be pushed or forced to pay it.Will never recommend this place to anyone.Pathetic.

I was really disappointed with butter chicken and Bhoona lamb.The meat was hard and the taste was different compared to the last year. I wouldnt go there again.

I went there for lunch and wasnt expecting much like I usually do when I go to an all you can eat buffet. But it turns out that the food is actually really good for a buffet. They dont offer a lot of variety, but they have all of the classics. They also serve a couple of vegetarian plates (enough variety so it isnt boring). I would definitely recommend the lunch buffet since it is really a good value.

First of all we have no complains with the food , food was delicious! Problem was the service and the attitude of the server. We went there with a group of 11 people! After the dinner when we went to pay the bill one of my group member used her credit card to pay the bill and suddenly server got angry and this is what he exactly said “ This is not India you cannot give me this much Tip it’s minimum 15% “ now I understand anyone would expect certain amount of tip but no one can decide and force the customer to pay minimum 15% as that is not the law! My guest were very upset with this incident I would never recommend this place to anyone just because of customer service reason! The worst part is Server didn’t even apologize for his behaviour!

Had buffet last night; the food was cold, the chickpeas curry was over dried. Rice were fine. The naan bread in buffet were very hard and taste like they were made since noon. The lentil soup was watery.The food was not up to the mark in taste.A $19.95 buffet with not a lot of vegetarian options in main course. Veg appetizers and Sweet dishes were only the highlight of the buffet and were Good. All in all; buffet is a NO GO!!!

This is a little hidden jewel tucked away from the main restaurant area. But if you want authentic Indian food and cant decide if you want vegetarian or meat, their lunch buffet is a must try. Once you have tried it you just want to keep coming back. You can also have a take out order.

Excellent Lunch time buffet with a good selection of appetisers and main dishes. Service is good and prices are reasonable. There is also a good selection of imported beer. In the evening there is an extensive menu of Indian dishes. Service is friendly and prompt. Reservations are a good idea as it is a popular restaurant and can be quite busy

I dont understand why this restaurant has such high praises. I ordered from here to try out their butter chicken which I assumed was their most ordered dish, but what I got was disappointing. The sauce for the butter chicken tasted mostly like tomato paste and generally lacked the buttery cream-like flavor and texture that butter chicken is supposed to have. The taste was underwhelming and unmemorable, especially considering how expensive it was, and I doubt Ill be returning here.

This is the third Indian Restaurant that I have been to and I have to say it is my favourite. It was my second time coming here tonight and it was just as good as last time. I had the sharing option for two its the third option and you really get a lot of food. The naan bread is just to die for as well. We were seated right away 4 people on a Saturday night. By the time I had called they were no longer taking reservations.

Great Indian lunch buffet. Food is fresh, varied and really tasty. During the weekend the quality of the food at the buffet drops a little since there arent as many customers.

I just finished giving two stars to another Indian restaurant in downtown Halifax and it reminded me that Sahib has set the bar high for me(and my wife). Note that Ive only had takeout from here, specifically the korma balti(either), butter chicken, rice and naam and let me tell you I will do it again next time Im in Montreal. The flavour from this place is so good I have not found in any other place that serves korma, this may just be my preference but my wife and I loved it. The value was very good. I highly highly recommend this place for take out and probably dine in too. We cannot wait to go back. Thank you for making such tasty korma.
