A couple of weeks back, My friends and I ordered the food from uber eats, and we didnt receive the entire order. We called the restaurant and said about the issue. They replied they would save our name, and during the following order, they would give the food item. Today I went to the restaurant for the food; I asked them about missing previous order items, and They said they couldnt find any information about the order. I am good with that one, but the guy searching for the orders rudely addresses me with their people in his language. I can speak the same language, but I started the conversation in English.I drove back home, gathered my friends order information, and returned to the restaurant to show the order details. I just returned to the restaurant to prove that I wasnt lying and tell those people not to address me rudely, but the same guy is not there. I know the language; thats why I asked back to talk appropriately. You guys are saying sorry after I said I understand the language. I came back not for either missed food or a money refund. Just talk with us in the way we are talking with you.I commented because I have self-respect. What if I do not know your language? Then I never know that you guys are talking rudely about us.I attached a screenshot of the order, and you can say that it is from your restaurant with food items.

Ok, the place is nice, it looks clean and the ambience its really familiar! The service was very nice, but the food was so spicy...well, if you come from South India, you will love this place, but, if you are not use to eat hot and spicy food...this place is definitely NOT for you,...I think they should have a low spice menu for those that love foreign food but cant stand the spicy stuff...hahaha, thats my opinion...but I really love to try new food to know about other cultures! ...the price is affordable and the only thing I really love was the Indian Mango juice (I dont know the exact name)..because was sweet and delicious!

The taste is authentic Indian food. We ordered baby corn Manchurian that was tangy and good. Chicken 555 was good in flavor. Panner special briyani was mix of Hyderabad and south mixed style and egg hakka noodles was good too. Just ensure you stay with spice level 2-3. I ordered 5 out of 10 still it was spicy. I would recommend to try.

Food is awesome. Ordered various menu items from their Indo-Chinese menu section. They have a delectable variety thatbis lip smacking good. Had Chili Paneer and Vegetarian Manchurian with garlic sauce gravy. Also enjoyed Veg Hakka Noodles and Veg Fried Rice. Do try their Paneer Biryani. Its fragrant, layered and yummy.Feedback: Had a large order. Online order was resulting in errors repeatedly so I called them to place my order. They have a promo code for an10% discount (MINTT10). On the phone, I was told you can ask for it when you come to pick-up your order. Ask for the Manager. Sadly, they did not honor the commitment for a genuine customer, even with a large order. Manager did not assist. Was unhelpful. Disappointed with their customer service.

One of the worst Indian food I have tried. I ordered chilli chicken, Chicken fried rice and Tandoori chicken with extra onion....1. Tandoori Chicken - super dry with broccoli on top.. how amazing it is to have boroccoli on tandoori chicken??2. Chilli chicken - Super sweet, I would have rather ordered orange chicken from chinese..3. Fried rice - Super dry, can taste the white rice in it.. Such a waste..4. Onions - Where is the onion??I called the restaurant to complaint about the bad food and I am going to write a review, the guy said OK.please dont waste money..

I accidentally placed an online order here, as I normally order from the Monroeville one, which I almost never have issues there. I figured whatever, Ill go pick up my food, as it was my mistake anyway.Well, the food quality here is noticeably worse. I ordered the chicken biryani, chicken 65, lentil soup, garlic naan, and rose lassi. The chicken biryani I normally get from the Monroeville Mintt has eggs in it. This one had none. This one also gave me three legs with about only half the meat on the bone, which is completely unacceptable. Makes me think youre reusing the meat. I noticed white rice in my bowl, meaning they just mixed it in with the biryani. As a result, the spice didnt hit me like I was expecting. The chicken 65 tasted fine, but it had a slice of lime in it that was stale and was already squeezed. The lentil soup did not have as many lentils as the Monroeville Mintt. The garlic naan wasnt as fluffy as it should have been. I didnt even bother to risk tasting the rose lassi.I gave two stars because the food tasted ok, but I will never return to this Mintt again. I do recommend the one in Monroeville though.

Great tasting food, though I do wish they put more chicken in their butter chicken (7 pieces in my last order). This location is also fairly annoying to get into or out of depending on the direction you came from, but its worth it. Even with the problems I mentioned, this is still my go-to Indian restaurant in the South Hills.

Sep 2021 Update -- Had a chance to come back to this place and was glad I did. Went with two friends and while there are obvious cutbacks due to the events of the past two years but the food is still first rate and thats worth the visit.I am maintaining the five star rating. The clientele is still predominately ethnic Indian. In fact, throughout the evening, we were the only non-Indian patrons except for people picking up food, and for all I know, they were delivery people! The areas were there are obvious cutbacks are that the menu is much reduced from what it was, and that the serving dishes, plates, and the like, are now Melmac and plastic cups -- definitely a step backwards. The food is still incredibly inexpensive for what you are getting. The three of us got two appetizers, two main dishes, two breads and lassis. The meal averaged $20 per person. Thats a great deal!2018 - My favorite Indian restaurant in the South Hills. The flavors are always full-featured and spot on. The place is large and can accommodate parties from 2 to 20 with no difficulties.Walking into an ethnic restaurant and seeing lots of folks from that group as a large portion of the clientele is always a good sign and thats what we found there. You need to be a bit patient as they take time to prepare your food and the food comes out of the kitchen in some sort of order, but not one thats clear to us. Still an excellent meal and place.

I ordered Chicken Tikka masala though their website. I was qouted 45 minutes and got a text letting me know the order was ready in just 20 minutes. The food was sitting there on a table and I walked out with it. This was very convenient. A common complaint I have with Indian takeout are the rice portions, they gave me a large Chinese takeout container worth of rice, which was great. The dish itself was ok, I believe they gave me butter chicken instead of Tikka masala. My rating is based off of the butter chicken. The dish was fine, Im not a big butter chicken fan but I feel like it was pretty standard. The dish had roughly 8 pieces of chicken and plenty of sause. The reason for 3/5 is if they actually gave me Tikka masala, it is the worst Ive ever had, but I believe it was butter chicken.

This is the best Indian food Ive had in Pittsburgh, hands down. My husband and I discovered Mintt during the pandemic when we realized we could get it delivered to our house. We always order the Paneer Tikka Masala, Chicken Fried Rice, Garlic Naan, and Desi Chicken Wings. The food was consistently good, packaged perfectly, and massive servings. We recently moved from Brentwood to Kennedy Twp, so they dont have delivery off their website to us anymore. Theyve consistently been out of Fried Rice recently, so the delivery fee from delivery services hasnt been worth it for us to order again. But were looking forward to having the rice again when it becomes available!

This is a comfortable dining place, not an upscale gourmet experience for sure, but a great place for dinner once you know what you like. I have been there for dinner on workdays a few times with colleagues and received mixed feedback. I rarely write reviews, however, after getting dinner from Mintt Indian Cuisine, it would be a disservice if I did not. Few places stand out to me when I dine, in terms of quality. However, Mintt delivered steaming hot Indian food with authentic, fresh taste that was just perfect. To be honest, I was shocked at the deliciousness. We ordered several dishes and each one was like finding another gem out in the ocean of many restaurants that never seem to match up to what I could have made with my own hands. Mintt was something very different. If you want Indian, this is your place.

Prior to the pandemic, I ate at this restaurant a couple of times in person, but now I order for delivery. Mintt is one of the best Indian restaurants in Pittsburgh. Its been a long time since Ive been here, but I had a good experience eating at the restaurant a couple of years ago. Tonight I ordered off of Grub Hub. You can choose your desired level of spice 1-10. Im eating with my elementary-aged child so specifically asked for Level 1 spice and for his meal I mentioned in the comments No spice; childs meal. My sons meal with the extra comment was okay (a bit of spice...like a 2), but mine was so spicy I couldnt eat it. Why ask what level of spice I want if the answer doesnt affect food preparation? It seems without the extra comment theyre not paying attention to the requested spice level. Grub Hub resolved the situation but Ill be eating my sons food and he will be eating Naan and rice for dinner.
