A village hat and small bazar in a remote area.Road connectivity is the worst in this area, however the renowned Dom-Sadak, which is under development mode in very very slow progression is a hope for the more village less market place.This village is native of Mr. Vidyasagar Keshri, present member of legislative assembly of Bihar from Forbesganj. Although he is an honest and hard working public representative, but visit to his native disappointed me.This village is very close to the Indo-Nepal border and Pokhariya a village in just the north of it is situated upon the border. The open border is poorly connected with a poorly maintained brick solling road from Kushmaha.There is no check post or SSB camp nearby so this area is badly known for criminals and smugglers.
