Im not a big fan of eating Indian outside as I have it at home everyday however, this restaurant is actually really nice. Its slightly congested and it can get extremely loud if its busy but it wouldnt stop you from having a good time. The food was good and delicious. The service was alright, considering with the amount of service charge they added into my bill, I expected better and much more service. Its definitely a cosy place to dine in. Worth a try.

I placed an order online for food to be delivered by 8:27 pm, payment made online-only that food never arrived, such a scam you pay for something as basic as food and the restaurant swindles your money. I am not just hangry I feel conned-to top it all the restaurant is taking advantage of government funded scheme of β€˜Eat out to help out’ when you dine in. I’d never want to be a patron to such a place.

What a lovely place, delicious food and great service. I definitely recommend the lamb shank! Slow cooked for 4-5 hours. Meat was falling of the bone - the best dish I ever had in a curry place. My boyfriend had a duck curry and his dad ordered a chicken curry - both were delicious too. The manager sent us off with a lovely bottle of wine. Strongly recommend it - going back again very soon.

I have been to Coriander several times in the last 2 years and have always found it very good. Last Tuesday I had a take away and it was awful! The food had obviously been left over from the day before. I phoned up and complained, and they agreed that they would replace it. This is not the point, the evening was ruined

My friend and I visited Coriander in Hatch End at 9:15pm on Wednesday 19th August 2020. This was our first visit; we were looking to try out a new restaurant in our locality. The restaurant was full to capacity because of reduced seating due to Covid-19 social distancing implementation and the government’s Covid-19 Β£10 per person discount during August.1) The poppadoms were very small, possibly the smallest I have ever eaten in 30 years of eating at Indian restaurants.2) My friend ordered an onion bhaji as a starter, I skipped a starter, but 2 onion bhaji starters arrived.3) My main course was Khulna King Prawn. The dish was tasty, but it had only 4 prawns for Β£15.90!4) I wished to have an IPA ale from their menu – not available5) Finally when we paid the bill in cash, they automatically added the service charge, and we were due Β£3 to Β£4 back in change. They took the receipt, the notes and never returned with the change. The staff had disappeared out the back as we were the last in the restaurant. We let ourselves out.In summary, the food was of good quality (7.5 / 10) but the quantities and service were poor.We left disappointed knowing that this will not be on our list of favourite restaurants and one we cannot recommend to our AirBnB guests.

Very overrated and overpriced. Wait staff took 25 minutes to take our order. Disappointing a place named coriander doesnt know how to use spice. Food was entirely bland and dry. Annoyed by the little charges to everything. Overall underwhelmed by an Indian experience especially , considering the plethora of Indian restaurants located in the area its a shame they couldnt get a simple curry right. Nearly forgot to mention the absolute robbery with the portion sizes, clearly trying to provide an upscale experience by conning those who have never tried Indian food.

Dined there today and food wasnt as I expected. Ordered starters, chilli paneer and chilli garlic Mogo, the food wasnt chilli, more sweet. Paneer tasted a bit bland compared to others Ive had. Had to get the bill early as I wasnt willing to pay for mains if it was going to be the same. With that being said, staff was absolutely amazing and very accommodating, I did indeed feel bad that I had to get an early bill and explain my issues with the food because they were very nice! From the reviews I read alot of people have given good reviews so perhaps I came on an off day for the chef, may be willing to try it again in the future to see if they live up to all the positive reviews.

Honestly Ive been using this curry house for a while now and Ive had the same experience here multiple times now. If you are a female you will be ignored in favour of male customers, if you are with a male expect him to be referenced for all ordering inquiries, food or drinks, whatever you want you best get your man to order. Takeaways are sub par, get home and your food will be burnt or missing, eat in and you will have poor service with the card machine not working if the boss isnt there. Over it, Ill take my custom elsewhere, I dont expect to be treated disrespectfully purely because of my gender in this day and age.

I went to this Indian for the first time with a friend and we are both Indian food enthusiasts. While the decor was inviting the food was less than impressive, samey and quite bland. The whole theatre of zapping the food with a mobile burner on a trolley just as it comes to the table is silly. The keema nan I had was ridiculous with the meat on the outside?? Their chef could do with Gordon Ramsay yelling some skill into them. The meal cost more than we thought it was worth and overall it was a relief to leave.Worse still I have never been so uncomfortable and feeling ill the following day as was my friend. Whether the ghee they used was iffy or some of their other ingredients were off, I am never eating there again.

Personally, I have no idea what all of these favourable reviews are on about. I went here the other day and had a chicken curry based dish, chicken tikka starter, peshwari naan, rice, tarkha daal and bhindi. It was nothing short of woeful. The naan was good, chicken curry only just passable and the rest was dreadful. My real regret was paying for it all. Considering the plethora of Indian restaurants in the area I do not recommend this place at all....
