Pingali is just few kilometres from District city Parbhani. Ancient Pingaleshwar Temple is still intact and well maintained, however some part is renovated by villagers. Also the interior is coloured. Pushkarni/Barav is big attraction here.

Very beautiful Hemadpanthi Mahadev templeThere is a large barav (pond / stone well) in this area and it is still in very good condition ... There is a temple which is about 900 years old. There are many idols carved on the inside of the temple, including the gods and goddesses. Dipotsav is celebrated here every year on the day of Mahashivaratri. A place worth visiting.

Currently I am a senior archaeologist. Govt. Degalurkar is working on Saras book Temple Architecture and Sculptures of Maharashtra. This book will provide information about the features of many temples in ancient Maharashtra from the 4th century to the 14th century along with photographs. During this period of about 1000 years, temples were built in Maharashtra during the time of Wakataka, Chalukya, Kalchuri, Rashtrakuta, Uttar Chalukya, Shilahar, Kadamba, Yadav, Solanki, Pratihar or many other major dynasties. This book will be completed in next 2/3 months and will be available to readers. Dr. Govt. Degalurkar Saran plans to publish this book first in English and then in Marathi. For this book, I recently traveled to Western Maharashtra, Marathwada and some temples in Vidarbha to take photographs. During this wandering, I saw many ancient temples in the villages. I am trying to present to you the photographs of some of these characteristic temples. I will give you a brief overview of the temples and more photographs as you will get detailed information about the features of the temples. Govt. Degalurkar will be available from Saras book. However, the readers are requested to know about the following temples depending on the response to this temple.Pingleshwar Temple, Pingali, Dist. Parbhani.Pingali is a village about 27 km from Parbhani city. Is at a distance. Pingleshwar Temple is located in the center of Pingali village. The temple faces east and there is a huge pond in front of the temple. Currently, the pond is completely dry due to drought. The temple is Tridal (with three embryos) and the main deity in the temple is Shiva. The entire temple is built of stone, and it is thought that the temple once had a brick peak. The temple stands on a pedestal about two and a half to three feet high. The exterior of the temple is very simple except for the front orchid part of the temple. There is a single pattern on the outer wall on all three sides of the temple. There are chambers but no idols of deities in them at present. There are other small temples in the vicinity of the temple as well as the remains of many old temples and structures. The temple is still in good condition and the villagers can be seen in the temple. Along with this temple, one can also visit many ancient temples and relics in the Parbhani area such as Jamb, Bori, Charthana, Jintur. Thanks!Parag Purandare in Bhatakanti (Misalpav)

Pingali is a village about 5 km from Parbhani. Also known as Pingli Station, this village is known as Pingli Station.Today we are going to visit the Shivalinga Temple and Bar at Pingali in the campaign Incredible Marathwada. It is a very temples of temples. It was created by the combined artisanship of the architect and the sculptor. We cannot tell the exact time of its construction, but from Shilpa Vishwakarma it seems to be of the 7th or 7th century. The temple is built on a height of five feet. The temple is in semi-pavilion type. The temple has a main sanctum and two small sanctuaries to the south-north. The temple is surrounded by four pillars and Vitan is attractive. There are currently no idols in the temple. After the interval there is a doorway to the womb. There are Ganapati sculptures on the wall. Apsaras, yakshas and gatekeepers are on both sides of the door. The womb is small in size. The house is small in size. Up to two persons can be seen at the time. The store room is built. In the middle of the pillar in the temple is a vale, elephant, Krishnila, Vara. There are avatars, geometric sculptures, apsaras, peacocks and swan sculptures. At the edges of the pillar are nagicultures. Rebuild the exterior of the roof, not the summit The geometric gemstone sculptures are also on the wall at the back of the temple. As the temple is oriented to the east, there is a rainbow (Pushkarni). As an excellent example of ancient Buddhist architecture, we can look at this barway. There are steps to descend the barway from all sides. There is water in all the twelve bars Nahiunhalyata that the baravam atato.Locals call Shivlinga as Pingaleshwar after the name of Pingli village. The temple is not registered in archeological department. This is the most visited place. There is a bus service from Parbhani to Pingli-Parbhani. It also has a Pingli station on the Nanded-Aurangabad railway line so you can go by rail. It is only 5 km from here. There is a village with a population of 5+. There is a hotel available for tea and fare. Ahetatasecam available from Parbhani pingalila when two petrol pumps also ahetarasta also useful, therefore, to travel to this incredible place in Marathwada once pahacam.
