If you live in Pcmc area, you will know what Durga Tekdi is. For senior citizens its a morning walk,jog place. A good amount of distance and elevations are available inside the park. For younger couples, its a heaven. I hate to say this but durg Tekdi is a couples destination since long back.There are total 3-4 levels. First level consists of a large lake, you can spot many ducks and other marine birds. Small patches of grass lands coupled in the form of park. From here a path to right direction takes you to the Durga devi temple. And one to left takes you to the second level. This level has a small park. Best place for kids to enjoy. A small open hall is developed here where people usually stop for meditation and other recreational activities like Yoga. Next level consists of circular walking track. From here the top level is accessible. From top most point you can see whole of nigdi. A peaceful place to sitback and relax.Ample parking space is available at the base.Die to Covid, this place is closed but open only during morning time, around 5am to 9am. And no ticket is needed during this duration.

Durga Devi udyan is also called as Durga tekdi.Reason for this name because of the durgadevi temple in this location.Actually this is a forest which acquired by local municipal of pimpri chinchwadAnd maintened by them.Entry fees is 10.Parking charge for two wheeler is 20.Its a nice place to visit during morning around 6am as weather is at its best and in the evening 4:00-6:00pm for the tremendous view of sun set from the summit.You can find lot of birds and variety of trees 🌲 here which where labeled neatly describing its type and form.Lots of students come here to study since this place calm and pleasant.

Garden is well maintained, full of nature, nice place to watch various local birds, trees are named with their scientific names and local names, same with Birds information. Cool and quiet place. Avoid plastic things, collect garbage if possible. Come only for nature walk. Maintain silence. Dont forget to bring food for fish, monkey and ducks in pond. Have a nice trip

A nice place to spend a few hours...includes play areas for kids and a lake...fairly clean with an hour long walk...most of the walkway is either black topped or paved....gives the feeling of quiet hill station....cleanliness of toilets requires a lot of effort...must see once...open till 6 pm....ticket sale till 5:30 pm...
