Tasty Food. More than sufficient quantity. Must visit place for non veg lover

Excellent as it was when I first visited almost 2 years ago. I again had Special Mutton Thaali and it was out of this world. The freshness of the food ingredients and the overall taste was just exceptional. Must visit for non veg food lovers. Service was good too and the restaurant is very clean. Would love to visit again and again.

The place is a good dine in hangout for both family or a group of friends! the taste is good . the service could be worked on a little during the rush hour . the ambience happens to be a soft light or seems darker in appearance. But a heavy dinner will always be a go here cause the taste is a huge role which the restaraunt plays succesfully

Quality of food dropped and rates increased drastically after lockdown.We regularly visit this place from last 3 years but latest experience was too bad, (probably the last visit of us)Special Mutton Thali : tasteless tambda rassa, tasteless alani soup (seems like onion and haldi soup only). mutton flavour/taste missing completely in both tambda and alani. egg is hard boiled. Solkadhi not served at all.

Its was wonderful experience to my taste buds. We tried special mutton thali, which includes mutton keema, egg masala, mutton sukha masala with mutton curry and mutton stew. On the side Bhakri and Indrayani Rice.Trust me each an every item has a distinguished and awesome taste.We will look forward to visit again.

There is no test to rassa. bhakari quality is very bad.

Undoubtedly best place for lunch and dinner. Especially for the Non vegetarian people.You will be happy with the quality and quantity.. and that is with very economical ratesAs Im vegetarian ia preferred veg thali with unlimited rice and roti. My friendly tried chicken thali with unlimited roti/bhakari, rice and gravy. Non veg thali includes kheema, dry and alani chicken, egg masala..Both thali were serve with solkadhi, which is awesome in taste.You have three choices of rice here.. Steam rice, jira rice and Indrayani rice.They have good variety of fishes at very minimum prices.Small book shelf is there for the people having interest in readingThey have maintained proper hygiene and clean atmosphere. Service is very good and quick.Over all ambience is pleasant... they have separate sitting arrangement for families.Extremely good place.. especially for non veg.

Been here with friends and must say the food over here is really good and satisfying! The different sections of the place gives you a different experience and the service by the team is incredibly good and quick! The taste of the food such as platters, thalis all are great and definitely a steal deal at such prices! Honest suggestion to everyone, do visit 😊

Went recently to Martand Malhar and enjoyed the evening, great place for foodies. We ordered Special Chicken Thali and was worth the money. ( in this thali Roti(Tandoori Roti,Chapati or Bhakar) , Chicken Rassa and Rice(Normal and Jeera) are unlimited)Ps. The ambience is nice. Service is quick. The food was delicious and hygienic. The mutton biriyani was amazing.We also tried the chicken pahadi kabab. The chicken was juicy and tender with lots of smoky flavour. Very nice place.

Good ambience.Good service.Ordered mutton fry - good taste, however it should have been cooked slightly more. Remember best mutton needs a perfect cooking level.Ordered pomphret फ्राय - it was overcooked and too much spicy, here they need lot of improvement.Ordered prawns दम बिर्याणी - it was perfectly cooked and tasty too. It tasted really awesome, no doubt its taste was good. The only complaint I have with this place is that food was served cold and the quantity was less compared to the prices. The first thing i want to address is that the food despite tasting good was not hot and hence was mood killer. The other thing was the quantity. For the given price, anywhere else you would expect much greater quantity. But here it was opposite. Regardless, I am a firm believer of quality over quantity. But the quality in return was not to the par.The ambiance of the place is not very sport but rather calm, which some people may like , some might differ. The service was fast and well mannered.Over-all after being there for 2-3 times, I give it 3 stars which is well deserved for it. Nothing more nothing less.

I visited this place lately after a long time. Last time I was very disappointed by the food. I visited here as my friend suggested me that the food quality is totally changed now. So I thought I should try it out.I started from a recipe that generally doesnt go wrong, Paneer Chilly and Chicken 65. Both the dishes were nicely made and the taste was very good. Than we started ordering various other things to relish the new taste. Then I had surami rawa fry and even the tava fry.They have really worked on their thali as well. I tried their chicken thali and fish thali both were delicious and satisfying.Should give it a try if you are in Chinchwad /Ravet.

We finally decided to visit Martand Malhar after going through some positive reviews and appetizing pictures.This place is located at Chinchwad opp. Aher gardens. Martand Malhar is known for their Unlimited Non-veg Thalis. I would surely recommend this place for sea-food lovers and one who wants to try out Maharashtrian style non-veg preparations.The ambience is quite unique. You would find some Marathi serial posters, deepika & Ranveer singh pictures on the wall. The place have dhabba style sitting arrangements.I really loved their idea of open Kitchen. They do invite their customers to visit their kitchen. I would say this place is well maintained on their hygiene & service.Now finally coming towards food. The place is quite average , nothing extraordinary one can get similar quality food any corner hotel. I ordered unlimited chicken Thali. Chicken quantity was more than average in the first serving. Other than that I ask for additional khima (which I liked here) which was served . However with couple of follow ups despite average crowd. So service is quite below average. To summaries my experience this place can be avoided, unless you wish to give try for unlimited chicken (inr-499) or mutton (inr-599)with average quality ...

Located near Aher Garden, Chinchwad this place serves authentic Maharashtrian Thalis starting from Chicken thali to Fish and Mutton Thalis. The place got three different seating area outdoor, family, and candle light dinner area.We started off with Chicken Soup. It was hot and tasted very similar like what we had at our homes.Then we had starters that are:1. Chicken Kharda: Its spicy in taste and cooked in Kharda chutney. Kharda chutney is basically a Maharashtrian chutney made with roasted chillies and garlic.2. Mutton dry fry: Again a spicy and delicious starter. Mutton pieces were tender.3. After reading the reviews. I went with my family to celebrate my sons birthday today.It was the most horrible experience we had, the plate had insects crawling, which we informed the owner he said it was a mistake. Then the food was cold that had been served we had to ask them to reheat it.The service given was pathetic, to add to this we ordered for butter milk that was served with an insect that was cut along with the corriander leaves.We did not create a scene so that the occasion was not spoilt and quietly left the place.It was Rupesh Dumal and the guy at the counter who was serving us, whom we did not see later on.As soon as I reached home I threw up and was feeling sick.I thought that its important to write this so that someone else should not face the same. Take care .

Looking for authentic and traditional Maharashtrian Thali ??This place is very famous for veg, chicken, mutton and seafood thali with lots of items in it.All the thalis were really delicious, spices were up to the mark and perfect, in case you want spicy food just told them your requirement.It had three sitting areas with open, family and candle light section.Friendly and very polite staff grabs your attention at the first point only and thats really great.In particular Thali they served different type of special authentic Maharashtrian dishes with local touch.Seafood Thali is highly recommended from my side because it contains 3 to 4 types of fresh seafood dishes.Overall it was very good experience, must visit this place for at least once.

I had heard alot about this place and was thinking to visit this place form long time and today finally found some time to go there and thanks to my sister who suggested me this place.It was quite a good experience and I enjoyed my time.The ambiance is really great. They have lot of space for sitting and family room has candal light dining. After reading so many positive reviews and high ratings, I was excited to try out the non-veg thali at Martand Malhar.Ambience: To begin with, they have a large parking space and the restaurant has enough space and different sitting area for families. They havent shelled out a lot of money on the decor but the place is clean and ambience is decent as it give a dhaba like feel.Food: We were expecting a Maharashtrian non-vegetarian treat and ordered a Chicken and Mutton thali, but the food was just ordinary! The mutton thali was a total disappointment as the pieces hardly had any meat and whatever meat it had was under cooked and chewy. The Chicken too wasnt anything exceptional, but better than the mutton debacle.Overall, I wont say that the food was bad, but nothing great to justify the high ratings on Zomato. I am not sure if this is the best thali you get in PCMC, but certainly all the other thali restaurants I have tried in Pune are much better!Value: They highlight unlimited Bhakari, Rice and Rassa on their thali menu, but that doesnt really add any value to the deal. They need to focus on the taste and preparation rather than just providing unlimited stuff.I am not sure why all the fuss was about, but its just a normal restaurant where you can go and have decent food - nothing extra-ordinary though.

A newly opened place, opposite Aher Garden, on Walhekarwadi Ravet road, this is a great place for Maharashtrian type non-veg thali.. I was there on a Wednesday evening, which is a weekend for most of the people close by, considering this the place was almost occupied in the family section. From the road the place appears to be small, but as you step in its quite a decent place. Ample manned car parking is a big plus to this place.The menu is pretty good, with lots of options for non-veg lovers. They have fish, chicken and mutton thali, which can be customised, and they also have a menu that lets you order for individual dishes seperately.We tried the Special Chicken thali.. Before the thali was served, they gave us the Aalni soup which was good. In the thali there was chicken rassa, two medium pieces, chicken kheema, one egg masala, and fry chicken, Sol kadhi, and Bajri bhakari..The rassa was a bit spicy for me, and they replaced it without any questions, and the second one they offered was excellent. The chicken fry was greatly cooked, and with just the right amount of spices the taste was awesome. I loved the kheema as well, which was tasting amazing with the bhakari.. In rice we asked for Indrayani which again was outstanding and the taste of ghee was very well blended in the steaming hot rice..We had gulab jamun, which was a bit too sweet to my taste..Service was excellent and courteous... Will definitely go back to try the mutton thali...

My search for Best Maswadi is still going and Ive found quite good joints which serve some amazing maswadi. The reason Ive started this is Shrawan, Im a die-hard Non-vegeterian but the Shravan made me eat Veg only. However, Im loving this and thats why Im searching for the best maswadi in town.The search took me to a famous lane of famous restaurants in Chinchwad. From outside Martand malhar looks normal, regular restaurant but when you get inside it will surprise you. The restaurant is huge and they have 3 sections, one open area dining, one Ac section and a huge family section on the third floor. The restaurant being on a quiet street gives you a nice peaceful vibe and you can spend some quality time.Lets get started then -Solkadhi - This is my must order thing. This time it didnt appeal to my taste buds. The solkadhi was watery, still, it had that punch of spices but it was on the milder side. I wouldve preferred a well consistent solkadhi with a strong punch.Wadi Platter - They brought us a small plate with 3 different wadis. It had alu wadi, kothimbir wadi and their version of fried bhakarwadi. The fried bhakarwadi was nothing but the fried version of maswadi as it had the same filling which is used in maswadi. However, it tasted brilliant. The coating was fried perfectly till it gets a crispy golden texture and the filling was perfect. It had that flavor of badishape and had a nice gooey texture to it. Whereas, Alu wadi was bit extra oily than regular and it didnt have the flavor presence in it. The flavors were on the much milder side than I expected which gave a bland felling while eating that wadi. Kothimbir wadi was brilliant. It had that nice medium crisp texture with a soft filling. This one was right on point.Maswadi Thali - They serve you a huge maswadi thali. It comes with Maswadi, maswadi rassa, pithla, thecha, baharit, jeera rice and choice of bread (chapti/bhakri). I tried it with chapati , the chapati was perfect like we get at home. The maswadi rassa was fantastic and it had that perfect medium watery consistency and it was consistent throughout the bowl. It had that oily spicy tawang which was the reason I loved it more. It was spicy and had that perfect flavor blast in each and every sip. Maswadi was bang on, the perfect gooey texture with a great coating.Overall Verdict - As I said Im on a hunt for the best maswadi in town. So far this stood apart from each and everyone. It was the best for me. Lets see how my hunt goes. I loved the thali as it had no changes from my side. But the starter part was bit disappointing. Do try it for their maswadi for sure.

Amazing Marathi food at very cheap prices. I loved the Mutton Thali.TIP : Please do not take Deluxe / Unlimited Thali. Its not worth it. Take the normal thali only. Its more than enough for anyone
