Good family restaurant. Special for Non-veg. In veg menu Mas Wadi is famous menu (maswadi belong to Narayan Goan alefata region).

The chicken served here is Gavran(non boiler) healthier than the boiler chicken. The bhakri is proper authentic bajra.The gravy is made from good and farm fresh veggies.The normal thali is around 200-250 and the special thali is around 350-400.I would suggest you to go with the special thali.Solkadi here is heaven!The ambience could be a lil betterRest everything was great!Would recommend everyone to visit!

I visited this place recently as I was craving for Kolhapuri mutton thali. I googled and found this place.The quantity provided according to the cost of thali was good.If you are concerned more about taste then it is not the place you are looking for. The taste was not upto the mark(still not that bad) that Kolhapuri Spicy mutton thali should have. If you do not have any options in wakad then surely visit the place and try it.

Don’t go by the celebrity endorsements you see on the walls ... just leave and save yourself!The food here left a bad aftertaste which went after 2 days of eating good food. The quality of mutton/meat was so bad that I doubt it has something to do with depleting stray dog population in the area.

Total Waste of Money, the Meat and the Gravy has no connection in terms of taste, seemed the meat was cooked since 2-3 days back and just put in to the gravy as and when ordered.Its Narayangon Branch if it is really one is far far better , no option of giving negative points else would had given so.

Super Shriraj WakadSuper Shiraj is located on Mankar Chowk – Kaspate Wasti Road and serves traditional maharashtrain style veg and non vge cuisine. I have tried almost everything from there menu and trust me this place is outstanding in terms of food quality and taste. Although this place has a pretty basic ambiance I don’t mind it when the food served is superb in taste.Recently we ordered chicken handi and chicken and mutton kharda for a in house party, The chicken handi had 8-10 medium sized chicken pieces in a medium thick rassa which was flavorful and the chicken pieces were cooked to perfection.Chicken and Mutton Kharda had respective meats prepared in a Kharda which was perfect on spice levels and undoubtedly is one of the best in Pune.Overall: Packing was neatly done and handed over in 20 mins. Pricing is very reasonable and portion size is also good. I would definitely recommend Super Shriraj for people who want to try traditional maharashtrian cuisine.Location: On LHS Chowk – Kaspate Wasti Road, Wakad, Pune.

One of the best places in pune which serves traditional maharashtrian thali.I have tried matki masala, chicken thali, shev bhaji thali and maaswadi all at wakad. The food is awesome and taste is consistent. All the ingredients of the dishes felt fresh. This place also serves typical indrayani rice which is must have for its different taste . Ambience is okayish-good and family section, garden type sitting section is also available.The staff is good and order was received piping hot and well within timeShev bhaji was thick shev in brownish black onion coconut gravy.Matki fry was sprouted matki stir fried to perfection with finely onion and tomatoes. #myfavoriteand last but not least ,the show stealer...Maaswadi .. this traditional dish is sort of thick besan wadi with bhakarwadi type (not exactly but close and less tangy )masala inside it . Stuffed masala is cooked mainly with coconut ,sesame seeds , onions , some spices and coriander leaves. Dish is mainly prepared during festivals in rural areas . Definitely not to be missed.

One of the best non veg thali you will get. They have three branches and best is at Narayangaon, reason being the everything is made on Chulha at Narayangaon.
