The food simply wasnt tasty. The burger was more like a sandwich and the pea soup reminded more of some slop than soup.

I absolutely loved their atmosphere! The staff was amazing and friendly and the location is great! Will definitely come back when Im in Tartu!

There isn’t anything I can tell about the food since we couldn’t order any. We were left with the menus for about 15 minutes, and another 2 tables were waiting as well. There wasn’t any waiter in sight so we couldn’t even sign them to say we were ready. We just left, that is it.The menu seemed simple which is something I really like, burgers and nice snacks with a big selection of drinks. I would totally understand the service delay if the place was full or crowded somehow but it was literally half empty. I wonder why the waiters disappeared all of a sudden for such a long time.

The interior of the pub is focused to be just another soccer pub, although the quotes on the walls are a tasteful addition. The menu is surprisingly broad, and the service is quick enough. A lovely place to pop by. Would recommend the jalapeno chicken burger with sweet potato fries. The chicken is juicy but not undercooked, and the jalapeno mayo isnt aggressively spicy. Tastes great! Love that they are now also offering non-alcoholic beer (Fassbrause).

Although service was good and atmosphere not bad the food was average (we ordered a salad, grilled meat and fries). Fries were good, but grilled meat dish was way too small and dry. Salad was ok. If it would have been a bit cheaper, Id give 4 stars, but for the price I hoped for more.

It is a usual pub on the central square. For inside views look to the picture. Be aware that on Saturday it closes at 2 am.

Really delicious food, especially if you take from the charcoal oven selection - this oven gives a really interesting extra taste to meat.The staff could improve service quality a bit - yesterday we were waiting for the waitress to come and offer the bill but after 15 minutes of waiting we went to pay by the counter and there was 1 girl who was serving another table but two who were just sitting on the floor and chatting....

Food’s good, the staff’s even better. The soups and the carpaccio have no business being in a pub - it’s restaurant-level and then some. The selection of brews is very solid. The main dishes are decent - nothing to write home about but certainly very good. And the bartender/server that we had, bless his beard, was certainly the highlight of the trip. Honestly didn’t expect to learn Estonian, but here we are.

I have been to different pubs but this one was one of the nicest surprise I have had long time. I felt like I want one specific cocktail but they didnt have it in the menu! It was no problem for waitress to prepare one for me. She even apologized for not having a specific garnish for the cocktail. Despite the garnish the taste of the cocktail was really good compared to the same cocktail before in another pub that had the cocktail in the menu. We had some food also and that was another good surprise. So if you really want to have good night with some true educating quotes, visit RP9 in Tartu!

Very warm and professional stuff. If you have some special request because of your diet they quickly rearrange the menu and think with how to comply your request. Sorry, we don´t have it in menu is not the answer you will hear here.

This is another place from owners of some other good pubs in Tartu. So its nice, clean and good food and drinks. But it really lacks something special or distinguishing which is a shame with all that know-how and resources. Yet it has good service and good location, I often visit this place.

The food was great. However, we were about to leave because it took over an hour to get two simple-ish burgers when the place was only half-full. No warning, no apology, 30 minutes of waiting after a just 10 more minutes promise. Absolutely ridiculous. Its a shame.

RP9 has proven a popular lunch spot and for good reason. Food is nice and servings are generous. You cant go wrong with tasty meat and taters. They have a modest but well curated selection of IPAs as well as other non typical beers. Staff is uniformed and look sharp. The new decor is easy on the eyes and is in my opinion one of the coziest in Tartu. I took my family there on New Years Eve and everyone was pleased with their food. My partner ordered a lamb dish and she couldnt have been happier. I went all out and ordered the €23 Chicago steak with creamed potatoes and a salad. The meat was nice and tender. My only concern was the salad. I would offer this. Serve it with arugula, endives or frisé lettuce instead of the run of the mill lehtisalat. It is not a big difference price wise. Mix up the kobar tomatoes with some sun dried tomatoes. Throw some capers in there too for good measure. Then you will have a dish worth the asking price. All in all, a lovely evening and I will definitely come back for the meat.
