Tejaji is the most important presiding deity of Ajmer district and his place of work is Dugari village (Bundi).Veer Tejaji is said to be the god of Kala and Bala / the god of snakes / Dholiyavir / the liberator of cows and the benefactor of agricultural works.Tejaji is depicted as a sword-wielding equestrian warrior, whose tongue is displayed as being bitten by a snake.The farmers in the state remember Tejaji before ploughing, the folk literature composed about Tejaji is called Teja Ter / Teja Geet.In 2011, a postage stamp of five rupees was issued on Tejaji.
