Service was kinda slow (maybe they were short-staffed?), but they accommodated my request to move to a booth. The decor is cozy. Atmosphere is casual. The food was excellent. I would recommend.

Food was great service however was not. I had a reservation and 4 groups of people were sat before me. They had their reservation times the same as mine. I was there before the other groups. Still was seated after them.

The food was great. I enjoyed every bite. But I found that prices are quite high (presumably due to the quality of the ingredients). There is a lot of space in the restaurant for both solo guests or groups. The service was decent. Nothing to be worried about if you want to come and eat here.

Me and my college friends from. CHEYNEY UNIVERSITY 🐺 got together and did a karaoke night here.We had so much fun. Some people sat together, ate and reminisce about old times. While other grabbed the Mike and goofed around. Either way it was a great time. The food is great and the staff was very professional.

This place is the best. It’s never crowded and the food is always delicious. You get seated very quickly and the food comes out equally as fast. The servers are very nice and professional. I always come here for the Katsu chicken it’s probably the best friend chicken I’ve ever had. It comes out with two large cutlets cooked perfectly tender and crunchy. The menu also has a pretty good selection of items to choose from. I would highly recommend eating here.

Flying into PHL I had sushi lunch with friends from NJ. We got there when they opened. We all ordered Course A, which includes miso soup, a delicious ginger salad, some sushi and sashimi, and our choice of a specialty roll. All of that was finished with vanilla, red bean, or green tea ice cream. I recommend the Passion Roll, which has real blue crab 🦀 in it. We also ordered crispy eel hand rolls and they were so nice and crunchy. You wont be disappointed.

We went here for our anniversary dinner. Everything was delicious. The food was fresh flavorful. We thought it was reasonably priced for the amount and quality of our dinner. We will return again to try more from the menu.

I only ate here a few times before pandemic in person with my son and we both really liked it a lot, so when my son waxed about missing their food, we checked and luckily theyre still here and we just got sushi to go and its as good as it ever was. I look forward to eating in again, as the atmosphere was nice, the staff friendly, and the service fast but in no way rushed.

The gyoza was like a 7/10, but the sushi was honestly not good. Everything tasted very fishy, and yeah I know its seafood, but I’ve never had a california roll taste so fishy that I couldn’t finish it. Disappointed

Boy oh gosh, you get what you pay for. I thought the price of the roll was a little high, but I ordered two anyway, I could barely finish one. The fish was fresh, and the tacoyaki was delicious and not chewy.

I went to Fuji Mountain for a lunch by myself on a work day. The building is easy to walk by, so make sure you can an eye out for the small purple flag spouting Fuji on it. I ordered a salmon bento box, which came with Miso Soup. The food was good, except for the Sushi that was provided which had hard avocado in it. The salmon was cooked well and tasted great, similar for the pot stickers and salad. I recommend this place for moderately priced work lunch.

I came here by myself looking for a good dinner near my hotel. It definitely had cool vibes with all the wood paneling. I was seated in the very back.I wasn’t sure what to order, and assuming the sushi wouldn’t be that great given the prices and how far Philadelphia is from the ocean, I asked for a recommendation.The waitress recommended the chicken katsudon. It took a while for my food to come (20-30min) and it was not great. The chicken was chewy and the food in general did not taste that good.

Party of 4. We sat outside. The food was delicious. My server was friendly and punctual. My food came out fast. The whole experience was nice. Ill go again

Weve been on an udon soup kick, so when I saw that Fuji Mountain offered a variety of options we were all in. I tried the tempura udon - wonderfully flavored, with the classic umami twist. And I also appreciated that the tempura wasnt only shrimp, they had a selection of shrimp, sweet potato and broccoli. I also tried the spicy beef gyoza, yum!!

Delivered for the restaurant through DoorDash - I walked in and stated my order name, and I was ignored. I started looking/grabbing at the names on the receipts on the bags at the front, stated the name again, and the one guy sarcastically shook his head and said yeah just grab your bag. I said well, I’m just checking with you. And he goes “well yeah you’re grabbing at the wrong bags” as he turns away from me. Just so unnecessarily rude, I’m delivering your food there’s no reason for you to be hostile when I’m double checking. Won’t be accepting delivery orders from this restaurant anymore just so I don’t have to deal with the unfriendly staff.

I do not recommend ordering from here for delivery. Very small portions and overpriced 😂.

AMAZING place! The employees are kind, helpful, and patient, especially with special requests or when we needed further clarification of menu items or ingredients. The prices are reasonable and the atmosphere was casual, with privacy dividers between the booth areas. Since it was a Friday, there was karaoke going on, but it didnt impede with the atmosphere at all. Oh, and a huge bonus for me is that it was open until 2 am! We will definitely be returning whenever we are in the Philly area - triple A+ for Fuji Mountain!

Good service, horrible food. Im sorry but anyone that likes this place has no idea what good Japanese food really is. We had the passion roll , a shrimp tempura roll with mango and crab meat. It was a $20! roll that tasted like it should have been $5 on a lunch menu. The shrimp tempura was cold for one. It was not good at all. Then we had gyudon, which is marinated beef over rice. Go to any Japanese owned restaurant anywhere (which this place clearly is not) and this dish would be a slam dunk. Its so easy to not mess up and normally so delicious it blows your mind. This places gyudon was just bland and gross. The Hamachi collar ($18 app) was pretty good but I could tell it was deep fried, rather than grill fried (as it normally is and should be), which seems like cheating to me. It was also brought out at the end of our meal, when it should have been first (as its an appetizer). Nothing we had was good even though it was quite expensive. Overall the dining experience was by far the worse one we had in our Phili trip. My family and I were very disappointed.

Went here over the winter for a birthday celebration and booked a private karaoke room. It was alot of fun! The sushi and apps we all had were good, and having a private bathroom was an absolute plus. It was a bit pricey and figuring out the karaoke machine/picking songs took a little getting used to. Parking available a quick walk away. Friendly staff, and good cocktails. I would give 4.5 stars if i could, so overall, a great experience for the 15-ish of us who came!

This place has become one of my favorite places to go to. I feel like taking into consideration the location and the quality of food, they really do give you a lot for a very decent price. The bento boxes are my favorite. The atmosphere and the interior design of the place is wonderful. They also almost always play some fire tunes in the place which I appreciate a lot.

This restaurant is my preferred one. I eat in many restaurants but to this restaurant I go the most. The team is very amicable and the cuisine they cook is so appetizing. I am always happy to have a good dinner here. Highly recommended.

Service was quick and efficient. Came in after a night of drinks around 11:30pm. Got to love some late night sushi!!!! Place is open till 2am every night. Sushi was fresh and delicious. Definitely ba return customer here!

Completely disappointed could not even finish my meal. Ordered the sushi deluxe the fish quality was sub par and chewey not impressed The fancy rolls could be alright but not into the Americanized 🍣. Salad was good tho the ginger dressing was good. But dont think Ill ever be back. Hard to find good sushi these days

Fuji Mountain is a great spot for takeout, dining in solo (pre-COVID), dining in for groups (pre-COVID + current), and, of course, Karaoke. The food is great and the prices are right. Lunch specials at the sushi bar during the week were always a WFH treat before indoor dining was shut down.Ive hosted a few Karaoke parties on the 3/4 floor and everyone has had an incredible time, every time.

I liked the seafood miso soup and have been back a second time for it. Last night I had the fried oyster platter and found it a perfect crunch and perfectly cooked oyster inside. Nice.

Fuji Mountain is absolutely delicious. They use the freshest fish and seafood in their sushi and sashimi. Their King Crab California roll is out of this world. I had the cream cheese ice cream for dessert and it was indescribably delicious. The iced green tea is homemade from scratch. My server was also excellent and knew the menu well and was very informative.

Very good food !!! I’m a regular there but the service tonight was awfully !!! Literally called 17 Times to order for pick up ( I wish I could attach a screenshot of call history ) nobody answers so I decided to walk 20 min because it happened before and just order at the restaurant... I was calling around 12:40 and closing on google says 2 am . I arrive at the restaurant around 12:58 and I walk in and call on the phone at the same time (the Restaurant ) ... the employee is cleaning the kitchen area and ignoring the phone calls (including the other staff) so I walk up to order from a server ... she walks up and tells me that the kitchen is closed since 1 am .... if you guys don’t serve at some time or don’t pick up the phone I would adjust the times on google!!!

Great place for late night sushi. Creative drinks from the bar. The only disappointment was that the kitchen was sold out of a few items that we wanted.

An unfortunate group experience. We had a group rental for two hours. If our group was supposed to make it to $500 of drinks and food, the wait staff was not prepared to operate with any sense of urgency.Im not a chemist but the drinks didnt really carry the punch they probably should have. Suffice to say, I walked out having drank a considerable bit but felt exactly no different.I give it two stars because the restaurant clearly has great food but the drinks and service ruined the experience.One other item. My wife who is allergic to shell fish had a pretty significant reaction. I cant tell if it was a cross contamination in the kitchen or in the dining area but that put the nail in the coffin. I wont be taking groups here again.

Love it,the mushrooms tasted like it came out of a freeze dried cardboard box; but the Atmosphere was unbeatable boasting 3 floors including a third floor karaoke lounge. Decided on the steamed beef dumplings and the vegetable udon. Was absolutely delicious, and the bar wasnt had either ;)

I forgot what kind of amazing specialty roll with was but it was AMAAAZZZIINNGGGG. Went late night, 1:00am. They were clean, quiet, the waitress was always moving and in a great mood.

Awesome food, especially for lunch the bento box is a great mix of foods and a real value. They have a nice beer selection too. Buckle up though, the service has been reasonable but slow every time for me.

I always get the fresh sushi here. In general (not just at this restaurant), dont like the overdone rolls. Love salmon carpaccio, spicy scallop sashimi, alot of the sushi (though not the uni). No atmosphere to speak of, but thats OK. Very nice servers.

Fuji Mountain is a well known quantity in terms of Philadelphia sushi offerings. The sushi chefs here are top notch, consistently providing masterful preparation and stunning presentation. Sake here is also reasonable for those interested. I tend to come here with business associates in a group of eight or so, and we have always had an incredibly positive experience. I would highly recommend Fuji Mountain when looking for a place to bring a group from out of town -- or if you are just looking for a nice quiet place for two, you cant go wrong.

Went here for philadelphia restaurant week and it was amazing!pros:-fish was very fresh! i would take a bite and it would melt in my mouth o: food also came out pretty quickly which was great-i thought I would be hungry after this but it is a lot of food! since its many courses, it was quite filling-i LOVED the chefs choice dish! it was an arrangement of sashimi, sushi, and a hand roll. I think it was a good choice for me because I could taste different types of fish, and I couldnt choose between the sashimi or sushi meal so this was a great in between!cons: not much to complain about, pretty happy about my experience!

Hands down on my favorite sushi places. I’ve been here over 50 times over the past 10 years and they are consistent. The fish is always fresh with great speedy service. The prices are really great considering they actually give you decent amount of protein. We’ve also rented one of the karaoke private lounge and it was totally worth it. They will essentially require the tab to be a certain amount which was too bad for a group of 20. I display get the following: green tea, miso or seafood miso, spicy scallion, yellowtail and scallion and uni. That’s usually less then $30. I’ve been there for lunch as well and the specials and bento boxes are really good. They offer pick up as well which I get pretty often since I can trust the quality. If dinning solo I squally sit at the sushi bar downstairs, the upstairs booth are great for intimate dates.The most amazing thing is they serve high quality sushi until 1AM EVERY SINGLE DAY.

I recently rented one of their karaoke rooms - the rental is free for three hours if your group spends $500 on food and drinks so plan accordingly. Ive also eaten here on several occasions; the sushi is great and Ive never had a bad experience. Highly recommended.
