Used to be better. I went there with my wife on a Wednesday, it was quiet, but weve been waiting about 10 mins and the waitress didnt show up, so We left the place without have any drinks or meals. I dont know if they have new management or what happened. But it used to be better some months ago.

The pork belly set is really good. The chuck steak is tasty but cooks quick, dont get distracted and leave it too long like I did! The sides are also very good, especially the kimchi. However, I didnt get the friendliest service in all my visits, so I cant give 5 stars sorry.

Great food. Will feed 2 hungry hippos if you order the 8 type pork belly menu set for $80. Beware, they now accept booking so best you book a table first. We arrived at 5.30 and waited 30+ minutes only to see multiple people walk pass us.

Went a bit too early so we went somewhere else. Came back at 5.33pm and it was already packed downstairs! We ordered Palsaik set menu with additional seafood kimchi pancakes. It was really really good. The meat was marinated properly, kimchi soup was great, side dishes are awesome. Would say that this is the best Korean restaurant that Ive ever tasted in Perth. No wonder this restaurant is that popular, even their dipping sauces are tasty 👍🏻

Ive been here twice and was drawn to this restaurant because of an excellent palsaik meal while in Korea.The dish, eight strips of belly pork in eight different marinades is something lovers of pork belly must try.It is not a traditional Korean dish but was created for the many Chinese tourists who visited Korea. But it is popular there now.On this visit we decided to try the four different cuts of beef. The meal for four came with soup, side dishes (ban chan), a salad, and a pancake. There were excellent sauces to go with the food.At roughly $25 (drinks not included) a head we were well satisfied with both the quality, taste, and quality and quantity provided.Service is efficient and friendly.There is sometimes street parking nearby if you are lucky but paid parking is usually always available.Disabled access is possible and credit cards are accepted.

Such friendly staff and amazing food. By far the best Korean BBQ weve had. We celebrated my boyfriends 20th here and the staff were so accommodating and they even took some photos for us. The food came out quickly and you definitely get your moneys worth! Going again tonight 😁

Been here for a few times, used to love this place. The quality of food and service seems not very stable and consistent though, when we went on weekdays the meat was not fresh as on weekends and sides were of small portions too.

Im Korean and I can tell that this is the BEST Korean bbq restaurant Ive tried in Australia. My boyfriend and I ordered this pork belly set menu for 2 ppl(8 differently flavoured pork bellies; plain, wine, pepper, herbs, soy sauce, curry, pepper paste and garlic) and it was absolutely amazing. I loved this cool combinations as we could truly enjoy our dinner time, trying different food and comparing them. Also the side dishes provided were really nice as well. Clean and refreshing, which was perfect to work up our appetites. At first when we were ordering, we were not sure if it would be enough for both of us and we agreed to see how it goes and order later, but with all these dishes and plus, this gigantic soup, it was just perfect.Personally I think stms Korean bbq restaurants are a bit overpriced, but I found it here very reasonable. I would love to come back and try some other menus like beef as well. Since we were travelling, we could pick only one Korean bbq place to visit in Perth, and Im more than glad we chose here. Delectable Korean BBQ and Rice Cake Hot Pot. One of the best meals we had at Perth. Must visit if one is at Perth. Food is good with average service and price is reasonable. The service crews are mostly Asian with very little smile on their faces but are attentive to our requests. The set meal for 4 is of large portion with good combination of BBQ, hot pot and Korea pancakes.

Decent Korean barbeque restaurant.The combination sets offer good value and the food is pretty tasty.We were warned that the Kimchi was spicy, however there was very little spice to it. It did taste good, though having lived in Asia I am used to far far spicier.The servers are mild mannered, though at times they can be a bit off.For a very casual dinner out with friends its OK.

Good place with nice food. Grill is electric so you dont have to worry about replacing the coals.

Highly recommend guys order Deep fried rice cake, really tasty 👌Staff serve really fast, but quite hard to call them because this venue is quite busy. Maybe due to limited number of staff as well, only 2 staff for the ground levelBbq is really good, however they should solve the smoke problem, they dont have kitchen hood on top of the bbq cooking. Quite smokey inside the venue as well as on the table. And safety for caring the bbq cooking tray is quite low, because they just carry the used, hot, around without any protective equipments, which is very dangerous.

My go-to for korean bbq whenever Im in Perth!

Used to be great before they switched to electric hotplates at the tables. Some dishes still tasted decent and the service was good but going electric is a change for the worse in my opinion. It feels like your just cooking off a sandwich toaster and you miss out on the flavours a flame charcol grill gives.

Interesting place for Korean food. Dinner for two cost us AUD54. The food was worth it. But just remember that being a BBQ place, your clothes will have a strong BBQ smell.

Definitely worth the money. My wife and I spent 66 dollars and we had lots of meat to BBQ and a large soup with a number of tasty sides.

Although its basically impossible to make a booking (I must have tried to call 20 times), its worth taking the risk to visit this bustling Korean restaurant (we managed to get a table for 7 on a Fri night - but we did arrive early).Theres a good amount of tables and they are turned over quickly, producing lots of happy eaters throughout the night. Its always a good sign to see Koreans patronising a local restaurant, and this place seems very popular with the young Korean crowd.Service was prompt, friendly and attentive, in a casual kind of way.The drinks menu isnt huge, and the restaurant has a tendancy to get rather warm (particularly on a hot Perth night). Staff could be more proactive and open the glass doors before the heat gets too oppressive.Food was tasty, and well cooked (which is lucky because you cook most of the meat yourself). Serves are generously portioned, and the combo sets are well priced. Id definitely recommend the pork belly 8 ways!

The food was great and service was nice, however since this was the first time going to such a restaurant and having told the staff that, I would have expected a little assistance. It was only when the last batch of meat was burning up and smoking the entire place that the waitress realise that they had not changed the cooking top and it was burning the meat instead of cooking it.

What’s not to like about delicious assorted meats ready to cook for your feasting pleasure. Korean BBQ is certainly an art, cooking the meat till it’s just right, tender on the inside and crispy on the out; when you eat it you think damn this is tasty.Palsaik did it alright, but just alright. My eager friend and I happened upon the incredibly busy joint on a Friday evening. The line was outrageous, seriously on a busy peak period expect to wait at least 45 minutes or so, after having a check it is mentioned on google maps so that’s a bonus if you’re not exactly ready for the wait timeOnce we were seated they seemed to have a bit of an issue lighting the grill, something about the canister being empty perhaps, so after a bit of an awkward wait, the waitress was able to finally get it lit, disregarding a few groups of people looking our way to wonder what all that clicking from the lighter was about. The grill was set and burning nicely.After a check on google reviews the Kimchi Pancakes are apparently all the rage at Palsaik, an order of that and the shared platter for two which consisted of some skirt beef, steak and bacon, we believed we’d have enough to share between us. I was proven wrong however.The kimchi pancake was actually pretty big! I was expecting well... pancakes honestly. This kimchi pancake was one massive flat and sort of thick pancake on a dinner plate, that had some squid, eggs and other assorted vegetables cooked into it. Score for the big size of the pancake it was definitely enough to share between two people. However I wasn’t impressed by it,be ready for grrrrreeeeeeeeaaaasseeee all over your fingers and mouth trying to eat that bad boy. It wasn’t swimming in oil exactly but it was close to. Flavour wise i felt it could have probably been better, minus a point for those.I’m a big guy I like eating a lot. The amount of meat we were offered for the share pack was well disappointing, for the price rather. The steak consisted of small, less than bite sized- size pieces of beef, not a lot of pieces either. The bacon when cooked rendered a ton of fat enough for the meat to swim in. that’s more personal preference, this was a bit of a turn off to me but some people might like rich cuts of bacon.Drink selections aren’t anything mind blowing, sodas for the kids, beer for the adults, fairly standard.The service was actually really good. Easy to flag down a staff member and get help for orders, considering it was a busy night for them, the selection of the dips and seasonings for the meat was pretty impressive, lots of options and additions for your cooking pleasure. The vinegar ginger was nice and tangy. They even threw in some salad for the plate for free which was very nice.At the end of the meal I was greeted with a disappointing (No Split Billing) policy which meant either myself or my friend had to fork out the full bill. Oh and no pay-wave or NFC contactless payments with the restaurant either, so if you’ve forgotten your bank card pin you’re pretty much screwed.In the end Palsaik is a big restaurant with lots of atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff and good selections of meats to cook. A few pet-peves here and there. If you’re not ready for a long wait time for walk-in, and no seperate billing. This isn’t the restaurant for you.Thanks for reading :)

The wait was too long and was not clear. I called in earlier for reservation but was told to walk in. When I walked in I was told it was full and just write my name on the waiting list but was not been told how long the wait is gonna be. We waited for half an hour, during this time, four table was empty. I walked in the second time to ask how much longer exactly we have to wait for, the waiter said thirty minutes. Too long to wait while they could’ve let us to eat first.

Decent, and reasonably priced. As expected you come out smelly like a burnt turkey though.

Tasty food good customer service

This restaurant and the one by the same name in Northbridge are the best KBBQ restaurants Ive been to. The flavours are excellent and the staff are really friendly. The prices may seem intimidating, but once you see how much food you get - its really good value. Especially considering their location - dead centre of the city.I had a phase where I would make the half hour drive almost every week to eat here - the food is just that good. I highly recommend Palsaik to anyone reading this review and I have brought many friends and family to eat here and all have enjoyed it.

As always this place is excellent! We have been going here for years, even coming out of covid lock down the staff are doing their best to keep people safe whilst providing the best possible experience.

Always the best korean BBQ in Perth, probably all of Australia, dare I say even the whole world?While the entire menu looks amazing, the Palsaik set for $69 is where its at. Eight flavors of pork SLAPS and portions are always huge (today they were even bigger than previous times). You get lots of salads and bottomless kimchi, pickles etc as is standard for k-bbq. Comes with a massive seafood and tofu soup, rice and 2 bao buns to load up with your meats, and cheese corn.You really wont want to stop but you may have to because its just that much food. I recommend bringing 2-3 friends to help you eat it!!!

This restaurant had a good reputation amongst my foodie group and it has lived up to my expectations. The BBQ set menu was very well designed and cater for various size group. There are unexpected sitting areas to allow for more customers to enjoy the meals. The meat was very tender and condiments complemented well with the main. Staff was very friendly and never lost their cool during the peak hours.I would go back again in a heartbeat.

The attitude of some waitress are very bad. They should train them better by not giving us an attitude for customers who waited for hours to get table. And apparently a lot of empty tables. The way they spoke and their intonation are so unprofessional and VERY VERY RUDE! VERY BAD EXPERIENCE FOR US. VERY SHITTYYY CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Came here on 03/05/2019 for dinner. During our meal we asked for extra kimchi and water and the staff was hating her job so much she chucked this pile of kimchi on our table.No offense we simply asked for a small extra side dish and do not understand why we were treated as if we were begging for it.Oh she was ignoring us the whole meal, 20 minutes into the meal still no water. This staff member instead talking to her friend and ignore us. One of the staff member that was working at the kitchen saw and helped.This restaurant used to be our favourite korean bbq restaurant in town but i guess we wont be coming back.

I’ve been this restaurant first time with my friends which is one of my friend wanted to have Korean bbq. But it wasn’t good as I expected. Because poor food quality and bad customer service(grumpy behavior, rude, an imperative tone of voice) I won’t never recommended to anyone who want to go. As a Korean what a shame this restaurant. Even I don’t want to give any rate ever!
