Happen to visit this hotel, I would like to tell there food keep a standard but the quantity they serve is very less. We a group of three went and ordered food as to our commonly served dish quantity sense. When they delivered it was not even sufficient for one person. Atleast the Waiter who took the order could tell us ordering one wont be sufficient. It took almost 30 min to get the order delivered and price was felt bit high for what they served and serviced.

Reached the restaurant around 3.30pm in the evening, with a heavy hungry went this shop. didnt expect a quality food at this place bcz its in NH.. food delivered very fast & hot.. ordered chicken biryani, chicken fried rice & finger fish total bill was 540rs.. came out the restaurant with fulfilment...

Briyani was good.. chilli chicken was too small.. parotta was also good

Very poor Housekeeping... Tried only Mutton Briyani & Chicken 65... Briyani tasted very normal & nothing special about it.. Just okay.. Mutton pieces were worst & very hard to chew.. Doesnt taste like fresh mutton.. Chicken 65 quantity is OK but tasted really bad.. U can get tasty chicken 65 from local wheel barrow shops.. Extremely disappointed...Note: This review is only for Perambalur branch.. Trichy Banana leaf tasted a lot better

Worst food ever!!! Kindly avoid this hotel.They dont even know whats dragon chicken, its just tasted like chilli powdered chicken. About Biriyani,goddamnit thats f tasteless and chicken didnt even cook properly. Fish meals smell so fouly.

Not everything was upto the mark, we have visited this restaurant 4 or 5 years back and the food was excellent back then. Hence we expected the same quality and revisited when we came across it again . But this time the quality was so bad. Everyone in my family hates the mutton biriyani, the meat was so hard and stiff and wasnt even like biriyani, im literally feeling very heavy and sick after encountering this biriyani. And for the record mutton biriyani given here is made from seeragasamba rice and was very sticky and moist. I know seeragasamba biriyani are like that but this one was worse. Please do not go for the jigardhanda expecting a typical one from madurai. It was a packaged readymade one which was offered 3, 4 days after the packaging date.Coming to the vegetarian meals everything was of poor taste and quality where even rasam didnt taste any better. The 2 stars ive given is only for the noodles and the starter .

Similar to their other branches... Food and service was good....But this place is getting crowded inpeak hours and you need to wait for 10 to 15 mins before getting a table... Mutton chukka and Chicken chettinad gravy were top notch..😋😋. This is one of the few restaurants who give Typical talcha for briyani .... Can park 8 cars in shop front

Its located near by highway which is about 700 meter we had lunch here while traveling and tasted both vegetarian and non vegetarian menus, both are excellent taste and the seatings here are more spacious and clean. The price is little costlier but we can afford for the quality and quantity.

A perfect restaurant for a highway rider, just a slip away from NH , with great hospitality, variety and yummy dishes. The ambience is pleasing and the toilets are well maintained. During this COVID days suggest the management to follow the necessary steps for all customers who walk in.

Tasty biriyani

Excellent service with good food. On trichy to chennai highway, if you miss food at trichy, the next destination you could get food would be at ulundurpettai toll gate which would be crowded but this is located at Perambalur at the right place. Just near the highway a small 200m detour towards the perambalur. Just enter the city skipping the overbridge and you will find the hotel.

UNBIASED REVIEW.....I had my first experience in banana leaf restaurant in perambalur when I accidentally found the restaurant by Google review while travelling to chennai on the way.......To my surprise ...The taste was good in 2019...Mooligai briyani was there...It was a great experience however when I visited recently in 2021....I was disappointed...The briyani and chicken fry is too spicy to eatService quality is compromised...Good things should be continued ....Hope to see good changes there...Aim is not to give average review but to see the good changes existed beforeEXPERIENCE MAY VARY FROM PERSON TO PERSON AND TIME TO TIME.
