Location was Good...Behaviour of the Staffs was Cordial...the Balcony view was Marvelous...Cheap also...Food quality was also Good...in Pelling u need not to think about any other Hotel...Go for Simbho...

Located in Upper Pelling, this hotel has perhaps one of the best Kanchenjunga views in Pelling. From here you can see the range in all its pomp and glory with an unobstructed view from balcony and room. Being a budget hotel , it will not burn a hole in your pocket and you can book a decent room at reasonable rates. ( Go for room no. 604, which is the best room). Tv, heater, wifi all are available and you can hire a vehicle for sightseeing from the hotel reception itself. The only downside is the food, which is definitely not upto the mark. Also you will find insects in room at night as there is forest nearby. Overall a nice place to put up during your stay in Pelling.

Do not think twice to book this hotel. Within that price range u wont get better fooding and lodging experience in a costly city like pelling. We got @1400 per head including breakfast and dinner in Sept 2021. Rooms are spacious. View from room balcony is mesmerizing.Just go ahead and book. you wont regret for sure.

Simvo is now one of the worse hotel to stay in Pelling. Low maintenance n rough behaviour of staffs made it so painful our stay in this hotel.They took 3000 per day while they gave tbe same room at rs 1800 to another party with no reason. We stayed there 3rd time. This time the experience was just horrible!! They offered a complementary dinner as they took so much money from us. But that complementary dinner was horrible too.. they served soup after the main course n also took money forvthe soups!! But they promised that the dinner was complementary.After this corona era, Simvo lost its own hospitality n goodwill.

Best budget hotel from all the perspectives. Its beside the upper Pelling football ground. Location wise its at a very nice place. The best part of it is the un-intercepted view of Mt. Kanchenjunga range. Try to stay at the 2nd and 3rd floor rooms with attached balcony. Foods are also good and reasonably priced. The only downside I felt, rooms are comparatively smaller, the person who takes care the booking is a bit rude especially during the on-seasons, you have to go a bit down stairs from the roads to be able to reach the hotel gate, problematic if you are carrying huge luggages although porter from the hotel can be arranged. Happy stay.

I just cannot describe in words how wonderful I felt staying here. Right from the rooms to food everything was just up to the mark. The view you wake up to is absolutely breathtaking almost from every room. The rooms are highly maintained with super clean floors, blankets and furniture. The food is extremely tasty and mouth watering. They give you variety dishes to munch on. The staff is very much courteous, helpful and friendly. They are ready to serve you at any moment. There was one of this manager , he was so helpful. He served us welcominly. He was very polite and soft spoken. I enjoyed my stay here. It was all worth the money value. It was nov 6th when we visited pelling at simvo hotel. It was undoubtedly good. Such a nice place with serenity and peace. The hotel is very good. Truly speaking U can have a wonderful view of snow covered kanchanjunga range from ur room balcony and from open lounge too . Almost all the rooms have a great view. If there exists some room that doesnt have view, then they have open lounge under which u can have ur breakfast and tea sitting there and can view the mountain. Well managed. The food provided was delicious enough. Seperate Gyser for each room is there. Sightscenery was arranged at a very minimum cost in shared cab. U wont find shared cab outside. Overall it is good hotel stay at pelling. For return to njp/siliguri u will have shared taxi at 8 a.m and one and only bus at 7am.

View of Kanchenjunga from the hotel room is awesome. You can enjoy homely Bengali food. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. Cars for sightseeing and pick up and drop is arranged.

Magnificent view of Kanchenjunga right from bed/balcony. Rooms are decent though the linen (especially pillow covers) smelled a bit damp because of continuous rains I guess. One of the managers was a real gentleman and helped out with tour booking and all. In the morning though, trying to get breakfast was a bit let down as we ended up waiting for 45 mins while trying to go out early for sightseeing. Would definitely recommend the place!

But as a guest suggestions, if there are any kind of rules and regulations (specially for driver), please write it down in hotel wall or notice board through signboard or notice board, not in verbally. After almost 15 years we were staying here for 4 night from 24th to 27th March 2019 . Overall we are satisfied . Manager Mr. Abhijeet Chandra looks like a strict and non smiling personality but a nice person and helps lot to the visitors . Located near old helipad / play ground at Upper Pelling , surrounded with hotel Somanchen , hotel Hungree treat and Hotel Hidden House, near to famous Nobru Ghang Resort . We were staying on room no 601 , it has a nice view , double bed delux room @ 2200/- but we paid 1499/- after 30% off season discount . It may be around thousand after Diwali to before Christmas . Best views rooms are 601-604 with private balcony , 701-703 with open corridoor , 501 with private balcony 503, 504, 505 with open terrace as delux , super deluxe and executive room . You have to enter this hotel through a downward steercase from play ground . Reception on 3rd floor , where you enter first , with restaurant and room no 401/402 . On 2nd and 1st floor there are rooms , like 301...201...101.....with no private balcony but little views are also there . Rooms are with carpet , wooden panel , gyeser , TV , intercom , wardrobe , table , dressing table etc . Rooms are average in size . On March we never facing any water problem , all time hot and cold water available but in peak season it may differ . The foods are very tasty and little bit costly , actually quantity is very less regarding to the rates . Famous for Bengali food . Room service are also available . Service of the staffs are also satisfactory. Actually this hotel commonly known for Bengali tourist . Only disappointed thing is , the outside looks of this hotel not so attractive rather very bad and old type .

Hotel is good. Bed tea price is very high 35 rupees. Some people say that you can see khanchanjanga from hotel balcony. If weather is good you can see. We stay here 2 day ,we can not see . Most important things, if you take food from hotel they serve you chatni, that is delicious.

Nice rooms with proper amenities; staff is also courteous. They run a travel agency which charged economical price for local sightseeing.Deducted one star (from the rating) for not so good taste of Chinese dishes. Indian dishes were however okay.

Very good location overlooking Kanchanjhanga range at upper Pelling near Helipad Ground. Rooms are clean, good and comfortable. Views from hotel rooms are mind blowing. Food available in the attached restaurant is delicious and reasonably priced. Hotel Staffs are very helpful. Sight seeing tours may be arranged by the hotel manager on demand.

Hotel Simvo is located near upper pelling football ground. The exactly location of the hotel is from football ground where there is entrance gate besides that gate there is a road going besides the ground ( not main helipad road ) where the ground end on right aide you can see the said hotel. It is little downwards from football ground. It is really a nice place to stay with family and friends. Great view of Kanchenjunga from the hotel room. Staying in the hotel from 22nd Jan17 to 24th Jan17 was such a beautiful experience. It is because the room service and manager both are very good person.

I have spent three nights in Simvo in Nov 2016. Hotel rooms are very nice & clean. Mountain view is very clear from the room. All the rooms are mountain facing. Its a wonderful moment for the new couple to stay there. Food quality is good but the rate is very high compared to market. except food rate all are OK. No intercom is there so every time u have to call them on mobile.

Good hotel with nice staffs. The cost is food is also low as compared to tbe location. Room service is great, Food is tasty, and Room 501 has a private balcony (only room on 2nd floor with private balcony).

Good place to spent holidays in Pelling. Its located upper pelling just next to Old helipad ground which is now a play ground. Managed by bengalee people. Bengali dishes available. View from the hotel is so beautiful. Upper portion room is much better than lower portion.

It is an excellent hotel with excellent location located near school ground, pelling . Gangtok and Siliguri taxi stand is only 10 min. away from the hotel. The view of himalayan mountain range is also excellent from the hotel . sunrise over kanchanjunga is also visible from the hotel.

Almost everything is fine in this hotel,One can have a great view of Kanchenjunga from front balcony,actually a big valley in front adds more depth and colour along with silver capped mountain.The only drawback of this hotel is-from road one has to go down by around 30 steps and those who are having problem with leg pain may face problem every time they go out side.So far I am concerned,being at the age of 68,I have not faced any problem as steps are smaller in height. Food here is good and staffs are cordial and nice.

Room and food, location everything good

I found it great, they have good rooms at restaurants price. Specialty of this hotel, you can have the breathtaking view of Mt Kanchanjangha if the sky is clear.

Hotel was clean and in good location. View of Kanchenjunga was great. Food was tasty but very costly and less in quantity. Breakfast was included in our package but couldnt get it as our return car service was at 7 AM and breakfast serving time was 8 to 10 AM. They cant even provide breat butter within 7 AM upon request. Hence we done our breakfast at Jorethang on 11 AM.

I stayed there for 5 days and I really enjoyed the view from the hotel room. Location of the hotel is very good and also the service. Behavior of the service boys and manager is also very fine. Food quality is really awesome. But the cleanliness is less and I had to request them every time to clean our room. Above all the power cut is a big problem in Pelling and the hotel Simvo managed it with their inverter, but there was only one inverter connection point (one CFL bulb) in our room. There was no inverter plug point connection, so we had to face a lot of problems. On 04/11/15 there was whole day power cut up to 05/11/15 morning, and we couldnt charge even our mobiles. This is really a big problem for Simvo hotel. They should give at least an inverter plug point charger connection during power cut,so that we can charge our mobiles and digital cameras during power cut. Because mobiles and digital cameras are the common essentiality of every travellers.

Nice hotel, located at a place where you can have nice view of the mountains. Room was also good but it was small for us as we stayed in 2+1 bed room. Food quality served at their restaurant was ok. However, the price of the room stay was more in comparison to other rooms available in pelling.

Location was Good with Bengali food, Rooms are not up to mark with respect to Price.

It was nothing but a great stay. An absolute value for money. You would be able to see mt. Kanchenjunga right next to bed. However, we missed that view this time due to the cloud cover. But one will not find such a great location in this reasonable rates.

The view of Khantsendzunga peak is very clear from this point. If you visit in October, November chances are higher for you to observe a clear and vivid view.

Rooms are good. But they will force you to pay in cash, or charge 5% on card payments. There is only one ATM in Pelling - so carry enough cash with you.

I wanted to give 0 star but option is not available. Beds were dirty and very old. Rooms were smelling pungent. Room service was not good. Balcony was very dirty. Windows were in bad condition. Cupboards were dirty and smelling very bad. There was no lights in corridor. Geyser was very old. Telephone for room service was not working.Overall the worst experience I have ever had.
