I found Pawtucket Pawn Brokers scrolling through Instagram and Im so glad I did. It was perfect timing. I was looking for a Miami Cuban chain and was running out of time. Nick helped me from the beginning to the end and got me the chain I was looking for! I would definitely recommend them. Everything went smoothly and parking was easy! I am not afraid to walk into the business or walk out with my many purchases. Today the store is run by I believe the youngest son and a few of very nice young respectful, well mannered men. Besides the great items and low prices, the way i am treated with so much respect allows me the many opportunities to keep going back. It all started with the purchase of unique gorgeous designer bracelet, to various televisions, they just keep getting better. All my laptops come from there. I must say that the item you purchase does not look old or worn, yes we get what we pay for, and i love nice things. The items they take in to sell are in the greatest condition, for they have a reputation to uphold, and they are warranted..You cannot beat the prices. My best gift I purchased, and I have shopped around was a Rolex, a womans presidential. Yes gorgeous. I have purchased a beautiful diamond, a 2 carat, and I was informed that i could trade in my other one that I have been wearing for years. I got an education as far as how to buy and sell diamonds, what to look for, the 3 Cs, color, cut and clarity. If I see something I like elsewherer, Nick the owner will look out for me and ask around to his diamond dealers in the jewelers building. Omg, i totally forgot, in 1992, when no one gawked at you for wearing a Mink coat, Nicks father called me and asked if I would be interested. A full length Mink coat, almost brand new, couldnt even tell it was worn a few times, so of course I mentioned that i am/was very much interested and 10 minutes later, I received my gorgeous Mink coat.One more thing before I go. Some people when they hear the word Pawnshop, they immediately think old, used, hot, stolen merchandise and automatically drug addicts, not true at all. They might be selling stolen good...that might be the reason they can sell so cheap. Jewelry of mine and my mothers was stolen. I was talking to one of the clerks( Not owner) and described my jewelry and even the initials on my class ring. I described the other items and the clerk started to say that some items were brought in fitting my description lately and the owner stopped him and said that I needed to go to the police...which I did. Police got involved ...I never got my jewelry back.

The only great customer service you get at this place is when youre coming in to purchase something. Other than that theyre always looking for a way to screw you. Right from the start you get that feeling that theyre not there just to try to screw you out of whats yours. Just be careful theyre very manipulative and they also lie about the value of the products that are brought in. Easily the best pawn shop/gold buyers I have been to in New England. Was nervous when I walked in, but everything was much easier and quicker than I thought and left the store satisfied. The guys there are friendly, down to earth and most importantly, they valued my my items (TV & laptop) higher than other pawnbrokers I have been to in the region. I suggested Pawtucket Pawn to a relative, and she was able to sell her gold jewelery for a great chunk of cash. Definitely recommend this to anyone looking to pawn or sell anything.

Just picked up my loan today and I wanted to let other people know how happy I was with my transaction here. Im sure they dont do this all the time but I was out of the country for 5 months and they didnt sell my ring on me. By law they have to hold it for 4 months and my experience with other shops was that they sell your item the next day after your 4th month is up. I called them and told them my dilemma and they were nice enough to hold it that extra month while I was away. In return they will have my business in the future (hopefully to buy items not pawn them) and I figured I would share my thoughts in this review. Would recommend them to anybody.

I cant say enough good things about this pawn shop. Ive been to many different pawnshops in the area and PAWTUCKET PAWN IS BY FAR THE BEST. Just all around great guys that work there. They treat their good customers like family and really care. So I bought a fender jaguar here about a month ago, they were very reasonable With the price, however the guitar did not work when I got home. I figured it was going to be hell to return it I went back even though they offered me my money back, or offered to compensate me if I wanted to fix the guitar. I brought the receipt back expecting the stereotypical pawn shop line, “I don’t know, who did you talk to, we cant do that.” But no hassle, the manager remembered me and the situation almost a month later, he verified the work had been done and took care of the cost of repairs. These guys really stand by what they sell. The shop is small, great for gold, tools, Xbox’s and PlayStations. Limited guitar selection, but with occasional gems (like my jaguar). I have purchased an amp and 2 guitars there over the years and am happier each time. Management is really impressive, definitely going to continue to stop by, or at least peek through the window, every few weeks.

The owner nick carbone is a pompous A-HOLE My family went to pawtucket pawn since the father robert carbone of Nicolas took over and like the statistics show second generation say the majority of small business fail well this business is doomed to burn to the ground. The customer service is disgusting. The kids who run the place now are all shy but even seem stuck up at the same time. theres no conversation its like theyre more worried about goofing around then they are the customers. I will never ever recommended these goofballs to anyone. FASTCASH is the only players in pawtucket period.
