Most friendly pub in the area. They always make an effort to accommodate our needs and preferences. I am vegan and they only had a vegetarian pizza on the menu, but the chefs made sure to make me one without cheese and full of fresh veggies. It was absolutely delicious!I also love their selection of IPAs, always promoting beers from local breweries! Top standards!

We were greeted by Richard who sat us down and made sure we had a good table to watch both football games! We were served by Bruna who was amazingly efficient and friendly! Really good pub! Spacious with great food and drink!

It’s probably best to book a table ahead of time, we didn’t know and then it up just walking in which was fine for attending around 6 PM. However it was a football game at night and it got busier as the night went on… A young thin man in a beanie from behind the bar tried his best to seat us and move to surround many times in order for me and my friend to have a good catch-up. We really appreciate all the effort he put in to ensure that we were next to have a table!

Always an amazing time at the falcon!! Our group went to the falcon most recently to watch football. We didn’t have a reservation but Richie hooked us up! He did everything he could to help our group out and managed to move us into a hut to watch the game. He is so friendly and helpful and truly cares about the experiences of all customers!! Great environment! We had the best Saturday afternoon, even though it was rainy. We were hosted by Bruna who did the impossible to find us a table and keep us out of the rain. Drinks came fast and the large nachos are a must!

Its ok. Feels like its missing something - renovation perhaps? Its a big pub with good beer and plenty of outdoor space, but not much of a vibe. When you compare it with the Clapham Tap and other bars in the area, this place can only compete on busy nights.

We spent a really lovely and fun evening in The Falcon. Great atmosphere, beautiful people and friendly and professional staff. Bruna recommended us delicious drinks and food. Im definitely coming back 👌😊

Staff service is adequate.Weve returned for the salt and pepper squid more than once. Its uncomplicated, cheap and well cooked.

Ive been coming to The Falcon on and off for years and have been quite a bit recently during the Euros. Theyve made some great improvements to the beer garden and have a great range of beers and food. The staff are all super friendly and I would highly recommend it!

Top pub with brilliant beer garden. Had my first visit since covid restrictions relaxed recently and delighted to find this pub still going strong. I found staff friendly and attentive and I enjoyed the fish and chips from the kitchen

We paid £40 for two rounds of drinks and they took 45 minutes to come, when the pub was not even that busy. 5 minutes after finally receiving our drinks we were then told to leave our outside and move inside, where there was no seating for us, and we were told to move from the table we sat at as it was “a table for 3” and 4 of us were sat there, meaning we had to leave the pub even though we had 2 hours remaining on our table. Having worked in hospitality for 4 years I am well aware that this as due to extremely poor staffing and organisation. Avoid.

Bruna was a lovely host, accommodating from the start. She consistently came to is and was absolutely the best thing about this pub

Came along for Friday eve dinner and drinks. We didn’t have a booking and it was chilly but Ronnie was the BEST! She sorted us out straight away, was professional and helpful and even moved us under a heater when one became available (lucky!) We saw her all evening managing bookings and all sorts of tricky customers - she was smashing it. Will be back ☺️ Thanks Ronnie! Ps. Food was delicious!!! Highly recommend the crispy squid.

Brilliant place, great beers and top staff. My mate lost his voice so the barstaff gave him free hot water with lemon! You dont get that in London every day. Will be going back regularly.

The food at this place keeps getting better and better! When one thinks that crispy squid is nothing but battered squid on a frying pan, they bring it up a notch! The salad dressing it comes with, has a little oriental taste, which just fits perfectly! The homemade scotch eggs are always a winner for me, and the roasts were very tasty. Could do with a bigger homemade Yorkshire pudding.For me, the space could be redone in a cosier style. It could do with a little re-decoration.

Although the place is great the manager seems to have got her first dose of power and is loving it, but at the cost of customer service and common sense. I understand pub staff are stressed at the moment but if you have 7 tables that are busy in a garden of 40ish tables then it isnt because you are rushed off your feet.I would avoid this place if you want a fun time, as regardless of the fact there are 30 free tables you will be asked to leave as soon the table you are on has another booking on, even if there is no sign of anyone turning up. Every other place has applied common sense and tried to maximize business as if we had stayed for another round that would have been £40 for the pub.Advice for the manager - do your job, shuffle bookings around and apply some common sense that the other 30 tables arent coming in the next 10 mins, regardless if they are all booked. Plus stop getting your staff to pass on the message to leave, thats your job not theirs

One year later 2018The bar has been updated but still remains its character.Im pleased to say with the update the heating has been switched on and is very comfortable now.The Sunday Lunch cost €17.95 & is still delicousRecommended2017A nice big traditional old style pub with original wooden flooring & the smell of a pub too. ( in a good way unlike pub chains all sanitised with no character) Just how a pub should be. A nice selection of food is available which you order & pay for at the bar. I always have the Sunday lunch which is a nice sized plate of food.It is advisable to reserve your table on a Sunday.My only cristism is inside the bar its far too cold on a winter afternoon. They need to turn the heating on to make the place comfortable then I would stay longer.Other than that I would recommend this place for a Sunday lunch.

The Falcon is one of my favourite local pubs around Clapham. Close to Clapham North Tube Station, there is nothing not to like. Good seating to watch Sport events and lots of outdoor space for the Covid-19 rules. They have a decent selection of drinks and the food is great.

Good pub within minutes from Clapham North tube station. Rustic feels with wooden beams ceilings, a beer garden with sports showing and comfy looking chaira. Great place for casual meet ups and lounging on a warm summer day.

Terrible service, manager is a jobs worth. If youre here for a good time, dont bother.

Made us sit at a table covered (I mean covered) in bird poo. Manager refused to swap our table despite other tables being free - they could have moved us around as there were consistently 1-2 tables free. When we raised the issue again asked for them to clean it, they gave it a few sprays and cleaned with a dry cloth. Disgusting. The manager didn’t even come over himself and left his staff to deal with it. Credit to the staff who were lovely and understanding, albeit we did wait 10 minutes after being seated and then had to approach the staff to get our first drink. No one likes being sat at a table empty handed. Edit: it got worse. An hour or so in and my friend ended up being poo’d on by a bird. So predictable. If the manager had just listened then this poor experience could have been avoided. To the owner, you need a new manager.

Was the first time back in the area since the end of lockdown, I felt safe it was all bookings and could see the football.I think I prefer it now as they do table service and you have your own space. Hope it stays more like thisI have visited many times in the past but not eaten, the roast was pretty good although needed more gravy, the waiter in the garden got me more in no time though.

This was my first pub visit since lockdown ended and I was really impressed. The food was excellent and we were served at our table to avoid having to go inside and order which was great for not getting too close to other people. Table service was just perfect and the staff was very friendly!! :) Ive missed pubs so its good to be back!!!

The new normal done well, was a mixed group of friends. Sat outside but because they had a tent and heaters was very pleasant, staff were nice and and did all the running around so we could just sit and watch the rugby.Glad I booked as it was busy.

Fast service and nice atmosphere but food and drinks are overpriced

I had a wonderful evening here in the garden. It is covered all over and has pretty fairy lights, with outside heaters, perfect for outside socialising in the current times. I had sausage and mash and it was amazing, huge portion with lots of delicious red wine jus! Kat was a wonderful host, super friendly and attentive but was also happy to give us extra time and menus to decide what to eat!

The table service was really good. Only one lady working in such a busy day and she was still so polite and helpful. 5 stars because of that.

Are dogs welcome at the pub?

As the kids have moved south of the river we had to find a new Sunday visit Sunday lunch venue. My daughter picked The Falcon as a post-lock down stab in the dark, backed up with good photos and good reviews. The social distancing organisation looked reassuringly good and as we were early on the scene we got to try out three tables before we found one with shade and a slight breeze (32°). Our host, Laurence, took our musical chairs escapade with good grace and we settled down to eat. One beef roast for me, super green salad for my wife, something veggie for my daughter and her fiancee had the chicken. The conversation dipped to the occasional ummm, interspersed with excellent service from Laurence who was clearly missing the the standard number of covers. The food was really good in all four cases, but defeated me. To my everlasting shame I couldnt fit in TWO really good roast potatoes; that heat was an appetite killer, but also... maybe just half a cow on the plate next time? A solid 10/10, great food and staff who clearly love their jobs and have hospitality down to a tee. In the immortal words of Arnie... Ill be back.

The Falcon is one of the best pub in London. The back garden looks amazing the food is great and the staff are down to earth. In all a great pub to go to if you a fun vibrant and comfortable time.

Very annoying that you can only order on your phone there website was terribly slow and a waiter could have just come by and taken my order there where only a few people in the pub at the time aswell

I used to live in Clapham Junction and the Falcom used to be our regular drinking place. It was the first place I met my birth Father for the very first time. I came back 5 years later to have a drink in his name as he passed in August 2019, i was ushered out the bar and told not to drink in here by the foreign staff who couldnt actually understand me. Such a shame the way things have changed. Have still not received a refund for the drink i bought. The door staff would not let me drink to his memory and have one last drink with my dad. Please support me in never going in this place again.

Great pub for sports

We came for a few drinks and it was busy, this concerned me as I worried about the service. However, Ruro made me feel welcomed, the service was amazing and all round the best experience from any bar staff I’ve had this year.

Falc is my local and I couldn’t be happier with it. Always comes through. Staff is super accommodating and always friendly. Solid beer garden.
